We rented a3 bedroom unit and couldn’t use the third bedroom because the fold out couch didn’t pull out. In all places we’ve stayed, the host had the fold out couch ready and dressed when we arrived. Not here, we were expected to do that. I contacted host on check in alerting them to this problem and several hours later, they said someone would be there the next day to help. That meant someone had to sleep on the living room couch which is not what we paid for. Also, we couldn’t open windows in the bedrooms or one of the doors to patio, no air conditioning, no open windows in 90 degrees heat. Place is run down, toilet seat broke, mold in bathrooms and host kept insisting that there was 3 bedrooms so they wouldn’t agree to even a partial refund even tho they didn’t have the 3rd bedroom prepared and we couldn’t use it

Beautiful views and pool. A little bit of a walk from downtown but my family and I enjoyed the walk into town. I enjoyed having my coffee on the balcony in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening.

Pros: The apartment layout and function, patio, pool, access to drive/park on property was excellent. Our visit was during a significant heat wave and without AC the apartment maintained a reasonable temp all things considered. The unit is located on a lower level and is mostly shaded in the afternoon - the window coverings closed in the morning worked very well to protect the temp from rising to extreme levels. Cons / Comments: The beds and sofas are well used and not very comfortable. Wifi was not working and never worked during our stay - contact with the office as soon as we arrived which resulted in no solution. Walking access to the village is long and dangerous via the main road (as suggested by google maps). We figured out if we jumped the fence at the opposite end of the property via the other car park it saved significant time and increased our ability to safely walk to the village. The ability to open the car gate (or knowledge of how to open) would have been very helpful. Once past the fence the walk to the village is very nice (mind you a significant hill back). It took us a while to figure out the best route of roads and walkways to the village - a map of the routes would be helpful. Instructions on what to do with garage/recycling were very detailed to use specific coloured bags - no bags were provided. Instructions were to place garbage/recycling in a specific location near the car park but the location was over grown. No sign that anybody else does the same so I wasn't comfortable that it was still the right thing to do - left garbage in unit.

The swimming pool and views were fantastic, and th room was very spacious

Geachte heer/mevrouw, Wij hebben van 18 tot 22 juni 2025 uw appartement aan het Comomeer gehuurd en willen u graag op de hoogte brengen van de ernstige gebreken en de slechte staat waarin het verblijf verkeert. Allereerst waren de foto’s op uw Vrbo-pagina duidelijk outdated en misleidend: de werkelijkheid stemde totaal niet overeen met wat wij ter plaatse aantroffen. Bij aankomst troffen wij de volgende problemen aan:• Toegang en gemeenschappelijke ruimtesDe entree en trapgang naar het appartement waren vies. Ernstig vervuild door vuilnisresten en groen aanslag van de planten/bomen op de vloeren.• TuinmeubilairTwee van de ligstoelen in de tuin zijn stuk en lagen daar gewoon in de tuin. Ook zijn er 2 tuintafels kapot en bedekt met vogelpoep en schimmel.• Ramen en ventilatieDiverse ramen haperen zodanig dat ze niet goed open of dicht gaan; hierdoor konden wij de ruimtes niet goed ventileren en het terras aan onze slaapkamer niet betreden.• Verlichting terrasDe buitenverlichting op het terras was ontkoppeld (draden hingen los) en lamp lag op de grond, waardoor het ’s avonds niet mogelijk was om iets te lezen op het terras.• KeukenapparatuurDe oven functioneert niet, en er ontbrak iedere vorm van handleiding of uitleg.• Internet en airconditioningEr was geen werkende wifi, drie dagen na onze aankomst werd een wifi router geplaatst. De airco of temperatuurregeling was geen gebruiksinstructie aanwezig.• Badkamers en sanitair Geen warm water !!!
