I liked that the front desk personnel and housekeeping services were very nice! Room was very clean. What I did not like is my TV was not programmed and I was told maintenance said they did not have the proper piecing for the new tv. I also did not like as I wanted to wash clothes, one lady had the washer and dryer literally the entire day and the front desk said there was nothing they could do about it.

My mother and kids stayed here during our family trip to Charleston. Rooms were spacious and clean. There is a pool and fitness center plus a help yourself coffee bar in the lounge. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

My room had a smell. It looked like upgraded furniture in an old room. The air/heater was not central and the fan kept blowing the curtains. The front desk person told me the ice machine was on floor 3 (I was on floor 4) and that there were no vending machines working. The desk person told me if I wanted a beverage I should go to the gas station " it's just over there" you can walk and she pointed.

Property was very clean. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was the best I’ve had at a hotel in a while. Only negative was the parking lot was extremely dark. The street lights were also out. I personally had no issues, but could be a problem for some guests. Stayed 3 nights and it was a great experience.

Very clean rooms, decent breakfast, clean gym. The outdoor pool was dirty. When asked we were told that no one is there to clean it over the weekend, just during the week. There was no iron or blowdryer in the room. We could not connect our Mac to the free wifi and front desk gave us a number to call but no one answered.

The pool and the fitness center were in unacceptable condition. The pool was dirty, lots of leaves and debris with slightly greenish water. The fitness center was dirty. The floor needed to be mopped, and the carpet mat was so dirty it left my hand black and stuck with dirt and sand when I did pushups. Lastly, the treadmill could have severly injured me. I was running at a good pace, and it shut off mid stride. Luckily, I was able to react in time, but there was clearly some type of electrical malfunction. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk the reply I got was "Oh, well nobody has complained before." I couldn't believe my ears. This is why I rated service with 1 star. Unfortunately, other than that girl, the staff was amazing, but I just can't let that slide, she ruined it for everyone.

This was probably one of the nicest rooms we've had in a while. My only complaint was the mattress was too soft. We stayed in a 2 queen suite with the pull out sofa. I let them know we would be using the sofa bed and they had it clean with sheets ready in our room. The room was handicap accessible, not at our request, but I did enjoy the larger bathroom and everything at a lower height because it was easier for the kids to reach. We didn't try the breakfast because we were in town visiting family, but will definitely use this hotel again the next time we are in town.

We got room 213, within earshot of, well, everything. Could literally hear voices from the lobby. The thwack of the sliding door in the lobby all night. The elevators. It was next to impossible to sleep, which had kind of been the point of getting a room in the first place.

We were in town for the Cooper River Bridge Run and on the morning of the race we have to leave at 6am to get to the start on time. The staff were so kind to put out a table of bananas, oranges and waters for the participants. That was so considerate since breakfast wasn’t served until 6:30. I appreciate the extra thought for the racers. It was simple but you can tell how much they care for their guests. The staff was engaging with all the guests every time we came in. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a hotel staff this friendly. Thank you for your kindness. We’ll see you next year

We had to cut our stay short 1 day. On our final day the HSKP unlocks our room, without knocking, walks in and starts cleaning! We were still getting dressed. I was in the bathroom and she walks right in with me! WHAT! WHO DOES THAT! i went to the front desk and asked, is this normal practice for you? In shock m, the young man stated NO MA'AM. Other than that very awkward and uncomfortable moment, the stay was great!

The man at the counter was amazing his name was Don. Our a/c wasnt working he got us ficed right up. My inly complaint wa when were changing rooms the housekeeper manager was a little testy, as we carried some hangers and towels from old room to new room and she she demanded the hangers feom the new room so they could have for old room. Then the next day we didn't want our room cleaned and i asked for some new towels and she demanded the dirty towels. I get people steal but not all of us do ao i felt shw was a little agressive. Otherwise everything was great. Even a sweet little calico cat mascot in the parking lot they said they have taken care if for over 9 years. She was a cutie!

I don’t think this deserves the 9.2 rating it has. They stopped filling up any breakfast items early. So we weren’t able to eat much. The front entrance smelled like smoke and the facility was just average. 30 minutes from downtown. I can say there are better options in West Ashley.

The beds were great, Pillows were amazing. The morning staff was not the friendliest. The breakfast had several cinnamon rolls that were covered in mold. My kids ate mold…. I went up to the rest of the breakfast buffet and found the majority had mold on them. The breakfast staff brushed it off.

I didn’t like that although check in is at 3, I arrived Saturday at 2:30 PM and I was told that there wasn’t a clean room for me and they were still cleaning. I find it absolutely hard to believe that in 30 minutes all these rooms are magically now ready and available. I’m an avid traveler and I travel at least once a month and this is my first experience with not getting an early checkin—especially so close to check in time. Breakfast was good. Room was large and spacious and that I loved. 12 pm checkout is a nice perk but I left well before then. Staff was friendly. Not getting early checkin 30 mins prior to my checkin time really put a bad stain on this property for me. I even checked the booking website on Friday night to see if they still had the room available that I booked (once again I’m an avid traveler) and it was available for Friday stay so how could there possibly not been a room available when i could’ve booked that same room to stay in on Friday night? Had my checkin been honored, I would’ve given 4 stars. I would not stay here again.
