Newer hotel with good facilities at a very reasonable price. The front desk staff are polite and informative; The two gentlemen I spoke with extensively (Carlos and Steven) both speak excellent English. Hotel has a central location, and a restaurant (with daily breakfast included in stay cost) next door. Superior room has a larger fridge than the Standard room. Superior room has a couch, while Standard room does not. Superior room bathroom better engineered for drainage than Standard room bathroom. Will be staying here again in the future.

This was my second trip to the Dominican Republic (twice within 2 months and both times in Sosua). I enjoyed my last stay, but wanted to try another place. Staff at Anton Reef was very friendly. Small, but very happy with my room. A bit old school as I wasn't expecting actual keys to my room as opposed to a card. Security was non existent although I never felt it was needed. My only complaint would be that the pool on the roof top was cloudy. Didn't look clean or maintained so I never used it. For the money this place would be hard to beat. I would definitely come back!

From what I'm told, the Anton Reef hotel was constructed fairly recently; the interior design is clean and contemporaneous, attractive to arriving guests. Located behind the "VIP Club" bar/restaurant on Pedro Clisante, near "Kings" and the banks, Anton Reef hotel enjoys prime location, within walking distance of the many quality restaurants, bars and establishments in the local area. Playa Alicia is approximately an eight minute walk. There is a station for Policia Nacional just around the corner (probably two blocks away), providing security. Supermercado Playero is approximately a seven minute walk, and has booths for both Claro and Altice cellular/SIM services. The rooms themselves are clean and spacious. The "superior room" has a couch, a larger refrigerator, and a king size bed. A small swimming pool is accessible via the stairwell leading from the ground floor up to the second floor. The greatest strength of this hotel is the staff; Steven (who has recently changed his career/field, and is no longer with Anton Reef) and Carlos are top-notch front desk agents; they both speak excellent English, and are able to provide recommendations for local activities/excursions. The housekeeping staff are also fantastic, and left my room immaculate every single day. The cost of breakfast (from 8AM-11AM) at the nearby restaurant is included in the reservation. Prices are reasonable, and the hotel provides a good value. Would not hesitate to return here in the future.

I like that it had a pool in the upper deck with view of surrounding area…what I didn’t like was lots of traffic with motorcycles and loud pipes racing through the streets starting in the morning…nothing that can be fixed with property owner but is a problem when sleeping in the morning

This was the cleanest hotel i found in Sosua and it’s so close to the main strip, Carlos and Mira was so nice to me and helped me with everything. I was so comfortable here with all the staff and there is free breakfast in the morning. I will stay here again when i come back to Sosua

Mirena and Carlos at the reservation were good and helpful Bethania and Natalia at the breakfast were very good Altagracia was good Overall everyone was friendly. Only thing i just requested them to extend my checkout by 40 min.They were unwilling to do. But i am happy with all the staff would recommend all to experience this place.

Anton Reef is an excellent property very near to the heart of Sosua. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and professional, which includes the front desk, housekeeping and restaurant. All were helpful during my stay.

When I arrived I had no reservation and had to sleep on a friend’s sofa. I’m hope not to get kick out on the streets tonight. Long way to go and have your room sold from under you. I need a refund

Always a pleasure to stay at Anton Reef. The staff is always professional and welcoming. Clean and comfortable facilities. Great location, very walkable with lots of great restaurants close by.

From what I'm told, the Anton Reef hotel was constructed fairly recently; the interior design is clean and contemporaneous, attractive to arriving guests. Located behind the "VIP Club" bar/restaurant on Pedro Clisante, near "Kings" and the banks, Anton Reef hotel enjoys prime location, within walking distance of the many quality restaurants, bars and establishments in the local area. Playa Alicia is approximately an eight minute walk. There is a station for Policia Nacional just around the corner (probably two blocks away), providing security. Supermercado Playero is approximately a seven minute walk, and has booths for both Claro and Altice cellular/SIM services. The rooms themselves are clean and spacious. The "superior room" has a couch, a larger refrigerator, and a king size bed. A small swimming pool is accessible via the stairwell leading from the ground floor up to the second floor. The greatest strength of this hotel is the staff; Steven (who has recently changed his career/field, and is no longer with Anton Reef) and Carlos are top-notch front desk agents; they both speak excellent English, and are able to provide recommendations for local activities/excursions. The housekeeping staff are also fantastic, and left my room immaculate every single day. The cost of breakfast (from 8AM-11AM) at the nearby restaurant is included in the reservation. Prices are reasonable, and the hotel provides a good value. Would not hesitate to return here in the future.

This was the cleanest hotel i found in Sosua and it’s so close to the main strip, Carlos and Mira was so nice to me and helped me with everything. I was so comfortable here with all the staff and there is free breakfast in the morning. I will stay here again when i come back to Sosua

Newer hotel with good facilities at a very reasonable price. The front desk staff are polite and informative; The two gentlemen I spoke with extensively (Carlos and Steven) both speak excellent English. Hotel has a central location, and a restaurant (with daily breakfast included in stay cost) next door. Superior room has a larger fridge than the Standard room. Superior room has a couch, while Standard room does not. Superior room bathroom better engineered for drainage than Standard room bathroom. Will be staying here again in the future.

Anton Reef provided wonderful accommodations for an 11-day trip. The room was clean and spacious, and was cleaned to perfection daily; I regret not having the opportunity to thank the young lady in person on the day of departure. Fantastic staff were polite and helpful. One of the front desk staff, Mr. A.G., speaks impeccable English, on top of being an accomplished engineer; he was kind enough to spend a substantial amount of time speaking to me. The building, despite being near the main drag (Pedro Clisante), was much less noisy than expected; however, the very central location still allowed for relatively short walks to the beach and supermarket. 5/5; would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
