The room was pretty clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly. I only stayed here one night but it's convenient and close to the night market.

Hotel is a bit dated but in a great location. You can't be any closer to the night market and there are lots of great food options. We stayed several nights with Chiayi as a base. It was very quiet until someone checked into the room above us. On that night, it was clear that the soundproofing is non-existent. A bit tricky for light sleepers.
