The lift did not work so we were forced to climb up and down the fire stairs to levels 4 and 5 with our 83 year old mother and the luggage. One night we were suck in the fire stairwell and the night manager who was not on site did not answer the phone. We had no alternative but to dial 000. The next morning the door to our apartment would not open which is frightening to think we were trapped in the apartment.

Excellent location in Scarborough. Spacious 2 bedroom studio room with all amenities required. Laundry room external to room on same level with free use of washing machine/dryer. Comfortable beds. Lovely balcony looking out to the ocean. Only downfall was minimal parking for guests and not many options along street.

The hotel is extremely clean. It smells lovely and is in a fantastic location. We came for a sports tournmanet that was being played in Doubleview. The hotel has laundry facilities and decent packing. Also has an amazing french bakery and Dominos located in the building. Staff were lovely. Only thing that is a negative was the repair and maintenance was a little bit lacking. The rooms needed re-painting and proper touch ups and the drain doesnt drain very well and water floods the floors when the shower is in.

Great location and super clean. The lift was really painfully slow and hard to get it to move. It also took me up and down several times past my floor and the lights went out. It also didn’t go to the carark so we had to park the car and wheel our luggage down the driveway ramp to reception and then back again. Quite hard with multiple bulky suitcases. Even though it was non-smoking, it sadly smelled like someone had smoked in our room. The screens on our balcony were hanging off and being held up by strapping. It wasn’t a bad place, I guess I expected better for the price I paid.

This one bedroom business apartment was excellent. Separate bedroom, lounge/dining area, plenty of storage, full kitchen, washing machine/tumble dryer. Sofa, single comfortable chair, coffee table. TV in lounge area & bedroom. It's a shame that there's such a poor choice of TV progs. Could have done with Netflix, 7+. Reception staff very helpful. Needed instructions on how to work oven etc.

Good amenities. Very clean beds and sheets. Clean bathroom. Room service is good. I reported a basin drain issue which was fixed quickly on the same day. Carpets and sofa need deep cleaning. Stains are visible on them. Location is great and walking distance to the beach, cafe's and restaurants.

We had a 2 bedrooms room, everything we needed is there but it was not in clean condition. The curtains were dirty, the walls need to be painted. Spiders webs on the ceiling make me uncomfortable. This is not happening in a 4 star hotel. There is not enough free parking for everyone .

1. Used man's boxers and used towel left in cabinet of 2nd bedroom. 2. TV not working and nobody came to repair it despite promises. 3. Loud noises from roof making sleep quite a chore, especially from the 3rd bedroom 4. No housekeeping (except removing rubbish) or top-up of coffee, sugar, milk etc after first day. 5. Hotel said there was no pre-booking of carpark lots which appears to be untrue, leaving us stranded trying to look for our own carpark despite requesting for carpark even before our trip. 6. Manager receives complaints and promised to look into it and send us e-mail offering us a complimentary night's stay but did not do so.

Love the location however the apartment had several issues, bathroom extractor fan started banging so loudly you could hear in the corridor on day 2 of stay and we were told no one could Come to repair it that day, meaning we had to shower in the dark as the fan would come on every time we turned the bathroom light on. Engineer eventually came but couldn’t fix it however disconnected it from the light so we at least had light in the bathroom, it still wasn’t working when we left despite several reminders to the front desk. The dishwasher also got stuck on a wash setting so we just washed the dishes by hand after that. The apartment wasn’t vacuumed at all during our stay and the exterior terrace floor, table and chairs were filthy so I bought cleaning products to clean them. We stayed here 5 years ago and came back this time as we loved the location however the last time the apartments were much newer.

The apartment was beautiful. The young man at reception was extremely lovely. The views from apartment were fabulous. It was close to restaurants and Coles. The only thing we didn’t like at all was no door on the ensuite. If we had known - we wouldn’t have booked.

Was a nice hotel. The only thing was the overwhelming smell of indian food/spices as you exit the elevator. The room is a little outdated with stains on the chairs and no black out curtains.

I was oddly told we were upgraded upon arrival. What the upgrade involved is still a mystery to me, as the room was next to the busy Scarborough Beach with a view of the road and roof tops. The room was exactly what we paid for, a King Business Room with a queen bed. No ocean views though, so buyer beware. No block out curtains to speak of either, so unless you’re an early riser, you might not like being woken up by the sun at 5am. I was handed a sheet that listed what to expect during our stay. The sheet promised daily servicing…. unless you were on a weekly rate, then you could expect 2 a week. Overheard several irate customers complaining about the fact that servicing of rooms were patchy at best, although they were not on a weekly rate. When the rooms were finally serviced the top-ups of toilet paper and coffee etc. were random and never complete. While you can go ask in the reception, I prefer that you just top-up what’s missing. Shouldn’t be too hard. Another small gripe is the change over of internet passwords at the end of the month. Nothing is done to communicate the changeover, the internet connection just dies. Tried to pre-empt it this time but was met with a shrug and a not sure when it will happen. If you’re out for the day and returning after 9pm, you can not get hold of the new password until the next day…. It has been like this for a few years. The location is great and the rooms not bad but could be so much better with a few easily made adjustments.

Disappointed with our stay at Ramada Scarborough . Checkin was slow with the person in front of me struggling with entering details on the small screen. Not a very friendly screen set up and not a lot of help from the person on the desk. My checkin was a bit better, but not really friendly. Room was a good size , but didnt look as "new or bright" as the photos. Room was a bit older than what is shown in most of the photos. On a positive, Bed was very confortable and the kitchen has all of the basic items needed. Internet was terrible. Struggled to watch a 20 second video without bufferring. I do expect better internet. It just looks and feels a bit tired. Location is good

The lift did not work so we were forced to climb up and down the fire stairs to levels 4 and 5 with our 83 year old mother and the luggage. One night we were suck in the fire stairwell and the night manager who was not on site did not answer the phone. We had no alternative but to dial 000. The next morning the door to our apartment would not open which is frightening to think we were trapped in the apartment.

The room was excellent. When we arrived I discovered that I hadnt booked parking and nothing was available. This would have been inconvenient but later in the day I dropped in to reception and a wonderful guy called Caleb sorted out a space for me for the weekend. A little thing like that made a huge difference to our experience.

I didn't like the attitude of the receptionist. She was somewhere in the hotel when we arrived approx. 8pm. Had to phone for her to come down and waited 15 minutes to be let in. Feeble apology and we were told there is "only one of me". Not impressed after travelling all day.

I was oddly told we were upgraded upon arrival. What the upgrade involved is still a mystery to me, as the room was next to the busy Scarborough Beach with a view of the road and roof tops. The room was exactly what we paid for, a King Business Room with a queen bed. No ocean views though, so buyer beware. No block out curtains to speak of either, so unless you’re an early riser, you might not like being woken up by the sun at 5am. I was handed a sheet that listed what to expect during our stay. The sheet promised daily servicing…. unless you were on a weekly rate, then you could expect 2 a week. Overheard several irate customers complaining about the fact that servicing of rooms were patchy at best, although they were not on a weekly rate. When the rooms were finally serviced the top-ups of toilet paper and coffee etc. were random and never complete. While you can go ask in the reception, I prefer that you just top-up what’s missing. Shouldn’t be too hard. Another small gripe is the change over of internet passwords at the end of the month. Nothing is done to communicate the changeover, the internet connection just dies. Tried to pre-empt it this time but was met with a shrug and a not sure when it will happen. If you’re out for the day and returning after 9pm, you can not get hold of the new password until the next day…. It has been like this for a few years. The location is great and the rooms not bad but could be so much better with a few easily made adjustments.

Love the location however the apartment had several issues, bathroom extractor fan started banging so loudly you could hear in the corridor on day 2 of stay and we were told no one could Come to repair it that day, meaning we had to shower in the dark as the fan would come on every time we turned the bathroom light on. Engineer eventually came but couldn’t fix it however disconnected it from the light so we at least had light in the bathroom, it still wasn’t working when we left despite several reminders to the front desk. The dishwasher also got stuck on a wash setting so we just washed the dishes by hand after that. The apartment wasn’t vacuumed at all during our stay and the exterior terrace floor, table and chairs were filthy so I bought cleaning products to clean them. We stayed here 5 years ago and came back this time as we loved the location however the last time the apartments were much newer.

Great staff at checkin & cleaning staff friendly & helpful especially when my sons 2 surf boards were stolen from parking area. Fantastic traditional French bakery/patisserie downstairs with good coffee. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. Lovely view from room. Only one problem, part of underneath of the roof on our balcony was missing on balcony so rattling noise of tin & vents heard when windy throughout apartment.

The hotel is extremely clean. It smells lovely and is in a fantastic location. We came for a sports tournmanet that was being played in Doubleview. The hotel has laundry facilities and decent packing. Also has an amazing french bakery and Dominos located in the building. Staff were lovely. Only thing that is a negative was the repair and maintenance was a little bit lacking. The rooms needed re-painting and proper touch ups and the drain doesnt drain very well and water floods the floors when the shower is in.

Staff were great and location to the beach was brilliant. Not very impressed with the views, we were promised ocean views but all i could see is the derelict building site below with an enormous amount of trash and dumping right outside, and graffiti/vandalism. Maybe a discussion with the council to prompt cleaning that up! Really spoilt the feel. Cleaners were good so overall not really a problem with cleanliness, however the carpet could do with a deep clean or renew - our feet were black within 20mins of being in there.
