We arrived on a Friday earlier than normal check-in. Contacted the host and made arrangements for and early check-in. The property was clean and right in the middle of town. Easy access to everything. Communication with the host was effortless. Very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely book this listing next time we are in Sayulita.

The property was completely misrepresented. Do not fall for the photos or description. It was the most filthy and unsanitary place we have ever seen. The sheets had brownish-yellow stains, the duvet and pillow covers were torn, and the couch was so stained that we couldn’t even sit on it. The cushions were ripped as well. The safe did not work. The listing said there was a washer, which was inaccurate! but when we asked for access and finally saw it, the machine was covered in black mold with a moldy blanket inside that looked like it had been there for months.The floors were dirty and stained, and the bottoms of the windows were filled with dead insects. The countertop was sticky and filthy. There was no soap in the bathroom, and the soap in the shower was watered down. The patio was covered in bird droppings, the furniture was broken with sharp edges, and there was no lock on the patio door, meaning anyone could access the unit.We tried communicating with the manager, Sergio, but after three messages outlining our concerns, he rudely replied, “stop writing to me now,” and stopped responding entirely. On top of everything, the property has extremely steep stairs that make carrying luggage nearly impossible, and the noise from nearby music goes on all night long. We ended up getting another place after a night of sleeping on our towels!
