Countryside Suites Kansas City Independence I-70 East Sports Complex Hotel

The lady at the front desk has a very nasty attitude, she also completed fraudulent charges on my account and told me that she wasn’t going to refund them! I immediately called the 3rd party company to get my money refunded, I also gave her the keys back to the rooms I reserved because after that kind of service I refused to stay there or do business! Never again! I have never received that kind of treatment at a hotel!!

The staff was pleasant and nice. However when I got in the room there was duck tape on the door above the “deadbolt” area (safety concern). I notice there was partially empty toilet tissue and no replacement toiletries. The shower area did not look clean there was a ring in the bathtub as though it wasn’t cleaned and disinfected, also it appeared it needed to be recaulked and some type of tub paint or sealant over it maybe just outdated. There was crumbs left on the table and tv stand did not appear to be cleaned had concerns the beds sheets was not replaced. I traveled with my own fitted sheets and blankets, it came in handy.

Rooms were clean but needs some maintenance done on there rooms for sure

Everything worked great, front desk staff was very pleasant. The only complaint I have is that there appeared to be what looked like blood stains all over my rooms carpet. Other than that, things were good.

The staff only wants cash they don’t like when you book online because they can pocket the cash
