Pros: The room was clean and spacious and building is in good condition. Across a parking lot from a Cracker Barrel which is also nice. Cons: breakfast is lacking options, and the attendants (for both mornings) seemed to struggle to keep up with demand. One of the elevators was out of order so there was a lot of demand (and waiting) for the one that worked. I finally just started taking the stairs. Also, the pool was out of order which was a huge bummer for my kids bc we specifically sought a hotel with an indoor pool. Bottom line: if all you need is clean bed, then this an option. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Signage directing to room incorrect. This senior couple walked to the end of the hall only to discover incorrect signage. Photos on Expedia indicated this type room had a walk-in shower. It did not. While we don’t need an accessible room, it helps to have a walk-in shower. The ice maker on this floor was broken which required this senior to go to the lobby to get ice.

The bathroom in our suite was not clean, especially the shower. It had mold and mildew around the door. The outlet that had the hair dryer attached to it did not work so I was unable to dry my hair. The office did not have any other hair dryers available. The ice machine on our floor did not work and the water fountain on the first floor did not work. The hallways smelled musty and there was a roach climbing on the door to our suite. There was a dirty ring around the water line in the pool. I am not sure if I will stay at another Comfort Suites in the future. This property needs to be updated badly.

Busy, super loud restaurant located 50' from the hotel doors that made finding parking at the hotel property impossible for hotel guests. Parking was not labeled 'reserved' for hotel guests except for maybe 4 spots. Guy playing a tuba was practicing outside the restaurant in the late evening. Would not recommend.

Our stay was great. We had some parking trouble a couple of nights and had to park at Cracker Barrel until events at the hotel and Mexican restaurant wrapped up. Other than the parking, the stay was good.

We had a great weekend getaway!! We will definitely be coming back soon. It’s not far away from home maybe a hour but it’s a gray place to getaway from the normal life at home!! The only thing is the indoor pool was way too cold!! We could not get in it all weekend, the inside pool room it’s self was hot but the pool water was cold!!

Highly disappointed after our stay. Rooms need a makeover. Mattress on sofa bed was flipped over to spring side to cover up the blood and dirt stains on the mattress pad on soft side. Poop on pool deck area and after telling front desk they said “we will let somebody know.” 30 minutes later, nothing…it should have been attended to immediately and pool area shut down.

Very friendly staff, nice, big breakfast area, normal breakfast, hot food was hot. The only complaint was the pool hours, opened at 9am which didn’t give much time to swim and check out at 11. And it closed at 9pm which didn’t allow much time when being out to dinner, shopping etc.

Stayed the night with our family. The woman at the front desk was very nice. There was a Mexican restaurant next to the hotel and a Cracker Barrel. The area did seem safe. However, when we arrived to our room. It seemed like it wasn’t clean. There were beard hair trimmings all in the sink and counter. There were mystery red stains on the carpet and brown stuff splattered all over the walls and on the skirt of the bed was a giant mystery stain. The whole room felt very disgusting. I honestly wouldn’t stay here again, especially traveling with children.

It's fairly unacceptable to stay on a site like this, walking in and seeing the shower is not clean. They clearly hadn't cleaned it in months. Perhaps they expect that "magic" spray to clean it, but sorry, it doesn't. Pink fungus/mold and black mold all around the shower. It was absolutely nasty. As far as the bedding, clearly not a washed comforter as it had black spots in a few areas, sheets looked washed. As far as cleaning the room during my stay? No.. never once did they enter. I guess that's a Covid thing? I don't know. Never got clean towels or a made bed in the 5 days I was there. Would have been nice if they would have told me this policy. I haven't travelled in a long while, so didn't know that was a thing. 1st night, the keys worked.. but expired, so couldn't get in the 4th floor room when I returned to the room on the 2nd day. Seems like a basic thing to program a key to open the door for an entire stay. Overall a disappointing stay due to the quality of cleaning.. it's like they don't even try. Oh.. one more thing.. Room 415.. apparently the room at 515 has a leak in the shower pipes, as whenever they shower up there.. it pours into the shower in 415.. and you can tell it's been leaking for a LONG time.. tell me the cleaning crew hasn't noticed that.. really. Moldy and old. Pay a little more and find a better place..

The room was okay. My first problem was the sofa bed, when we pulled it out I had pee stains on it and food stains. It was dirty and had never been changed. Second, discover a dirty towel folded with the clean. The shower area had soap film as if it was never cleaned as well as the upper part of the sink. The last strike was in the middle of the night at 1:30 I realized that I was being bitten by bedbugs when I turned on the light s and bite on my body that was itching. I have video. I checked out immediately in the middle of the night . Just disgusting! The attendance didn’t seem too shocked. I believe they know that they have them and just offer you another room.

The property is clean overall and we only interacted with one desk clerk a couple of times. Our issues are with the room and the overall accomodations. There was no bedding in the room for the pull-out sofa bed, so we sent our teen son to the front desk to get some. They were out of pillows. How? No resolution there. In addition, the luggage carts were almost impossible to find and the one we did find was falling apart. The caulking in the shower was very moldy so there's that. Not a great place but we were only there for one night, thankfully.

Some of the staff were nice, the lobby looks good but the room was very dirty. The bathroom was stained and dirty, the room carpet wasn't even vacuumed. There were trash, cigarettes buds and food behind the couch and the bed sheets and cover were dirty with makeup, dirt and some stains that looked like feces.

Stayed here for a weekend while visiting some family in the area. We booked the large suite with two queen beds and a pull out. The room was very large and decent however there were blood stains on one comforter which really bothered me. The bathroom was pretty clean and it had a jack and Jill sink which I usually never see so that was super convenient for our party of 5 that was staying in the room. Every front desk staff member was extremely courteous and helpful from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. We spent time in the pool which we were lucky enough to have all to ourselves and was pretty nice. The breakfast buffet options were pretty great compared to most. And if hotel breakfast isn’t your thing there was a Cracker Barrel right next door and a Waffle House across the street. Ample parking, no bugs or mice were seen. Overall definitely worth the stay and will be back.

Nice hotel but internet is terrible. Couldn’t connect our phones or iPads to internet. Front desk people tried to help to no avail. Room was nice but beds are to high. Two nights got no sleep due to people above and room next to us stomping loudly and they were up most of night. Would be nice to have a grab bar on entrance wall in shower. Breakfast was good

The stay at the hotel was OK. But we were totally disappointed with the Wi-Fi. It just did not work at all during our stay. The carpet had some stains on them. But check in and check out was very easy and well done.

Got stuck in the worst possible room. 101. Right by the exit on the lower floor. People talking in the hallway and the door opening and slamming shut at all hours. Really hard to sleep due to that noise.

Everything was great except our air conditioner did not cool well!! I told the front desk staff and had someone came twice to look at it. Still didn’t work. They offered another room but we were leaving the next morning so we declined. I would appreciate financial compensation for the unpleasant, warm stay in room 102. Thank you, Annalee Weaver.

Our stay at the Comfort Suites was excellent. Karen the manager was so very helpful in extending our room a few days due to family medical issues. Kim was also very helpful at the front desk. Room was very clean and breakfast each am was a treat!!! Thank you all for such an amazing stay!!!! Rog and Ms CJ

We had a great time during our stay here. Marissa checked us in and was so incredibly helpful and sweet, just the kind of person you want to be welcomed by after a long night of travels and stress. She was incredibly accommodating for us and made what was once a night of worried and frustration into a night of rest and relaxation. Also, Tilly who helped us check out in the morning was so sweet and upbeat, such a positive energy. She answered all of our questions and was so kind. These two ladies are definitely strong additions to the hotel and we are so grateful for their help. As for the hotel, the room was spotless upon arrival and we couldn’t hear a peep outside of our room, which is always a nice bonus. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be looking into another stay here soon! :) Best wishes, The Greys

When we arrived to check in, we had waited several minutes at the empty front desk before finally having to call out for assistance. The front desk clerk was pleasant, but seemed half asleep when checking us in. When we got to our room, there were peanuts and popcorn left on the floor that had not been vacuumed up. You could tell the room had been very haphazardly "cleaned" (hair on the shower curtain, toilet not clean, dust build-up, stains on headboard, etc). We opened the curtains and had a lovely view of the HVAC units and had to deal with the noise they made while trying to sleep. Breakfast was probably the best part of the stay. The hotel served its purpose of having a place to sleep and shower, but we won't be staying there again.

Staff was superb helping. The annuities very convenient. The washing machine was out; however staff informed me that hotel next this mines as a sister hotel and that I could use their. Rooms were very clean.

Highly disappointed after our stay. Rooms need a makeover. Mattress on sofa bed was flipped over to spring side to cover up the blood and dirt stains on the mattress pad on soft side. Poop on pool deck area and after telling front desk they said “we will let somebody know.” 30 minutes later, nothing…it should have been attended to immediately and pool area shut down.

First room we were put in the heat was blasting hot and couldn’t adjust the temperature. Tried calling the front desk but the phone was broke. Thank goodness for cellphones. Ended up having to switch rooms at midnight. The next morning for the breakfast it wasn’t stocked at all. Very slim pickings. And no one around to stock it. Was very disappointing. Will choose another place before coming back to this one.

We got our key at the desk, went up to the room, opened the door, and saw suitcases and unmade beds! We quickly closed the door and went back downstairs to the front desk. The clerk had checked us into someone else's room. We went back downstairs and she got us new keys to a different room. I found out that poor guest in 505 had other people also get keys to her room the same evening. The sane night clerk made the mistake again and those people entered her room late in the evening or maybe their us a terrible computer error! I spoke to that guest that had the sane experience we had and they also had gone to 505 first, then they got new keys to 504 and it also had a guest already in that room. They were upset by being given keys to other people's room twice while trying to simply check in.. they got an unoccupied room on the 3rd try. Other than that, once we were in our room everything was good. The mexican restaurant across the walkway is great. Hotel Breakfast and coffee was nice. The Morning staff was very helpful.

Convenient to I85 and Crackle Barrel is walkable. Further from Clemson University than I expected. Bathroom shower not clean, shower door rusted, couch was stained and had holes in it. Piece of PVC pipe on dress drawers. Curtains stained. Bed comfortable.

Our stay was great. We had some parking trouble a couple of nights and had to park at Cracker Barrel until events at the hotel and Mexican restaurant wrapped up. Other than the parking, the stay was good.

Very nice, once we arrived….. Finding you is a dangerous adventure, especially at night. The highway is dark, there are no street lights, and NO SIGNS of any kind identifying any of the number of accommodations in that street! And the traffic is moderate-to heavy much of the time!

Mexican restaurant directly in front of the hotel door, restaurant was busy so parking was very limited. I had to park illegally until the restaurant closed. Duvet on the bed had a blood stain. Entry door to room is missing the strike plate making it easy to access with a flat object. Suspicious “sensor” over the entry door. Breakfast was delicious! Friendly staff.

Pros: The room was clean and spacious and building is in good condition. Across a parking lot from a Cracker Barrel which is also nice. Cons: breakfast is lacking options, and the attendants (for both mornings) seemed to struggle to keep up with demand. One of the elevators was out of order so there was a lot of demand (and waiting) for the one that worked. I finally just started taking the stairs. Also, the pool was out of order which was a huge bummer for my kids bc we specifically sought a hotel with an indoor pool. Bottom line: if all you need is clean bed, then this an option. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

The room was noisy due to fridge compressor probably going bad. Also half way used toliet paper with that being only roll in room. The breakfast area barely had anything and selection was not good as well.

Made a quick stop for one night on a business trip very inexpensive at $120 included all fees and taxes clean hotel. Good location appears to be recently updated very friendly staff and surprisingly a good breakfast. I’m not a big eater in the morning and hotels are not known for good breakfasts, however This was actually pretty good and a worth mentioning the lady setting up the breakfast did a great job! an worth mentioning the lady setting up the breakfast. Did a great job! She would come back about every 10 minutes check the food, wipe down the counters and make sure everything was ready.

There were plates of food left out in the hallway the entirety of our 2 night stay. There were cockroaches eating the food and throughout the hallway. Asked the staff for an extra pillow and they told us to use the ones from the bed (we were staying in a queen suite with a pull out couch and two queen beds, only 6 pillows total in the room and 2 adults 3 kids). Told them the sheets felt scratchy and dirty and they just said sorry. We stayed new year’s eve into new years day and they didn’t have any breakfast on new years because “the staff performed so well they gave them the day off”. I understand the day off, but there was no food to eat. Overall not a great stay.

Very friendly staff, nice, big breakfast area, normal breakfast, hot food was hot. The only complaint was the pool hours, opened at 9am which didn’t give much time to swim and check out at 11. And it closed at 9pm which didn’t allow much time when being out to dinner, shopping etc.

Hotel is clean for the most part. However, first room we were assigned smelled like smoke and A/C didn’t work. Moved to a new room that didn’t have a smell but A/C still wasn’t great. Hotel says nonsmoking but all the halls and passing by rooms smelled like weed. Entire hotel filled with Hispanic workers. Wouldn’t be my first choice of hotel. Must better hotel in the area for the same price.
