The property is perfectly manicured, pool is pristine. Check in and bar staff were very friendly. Oscar at the bar was lots of fun. Arrived in the pouring rain, staff met me in the parking lot with an umbrella, nice touch!

It’s a lovely beachfront spot with amenities that allows you to relax without having the need to leave for dining. Each villa has a fully equipped kitchen but there is a restaurant and bar on property as well. There are spa services available but the massage received during our stay was lackluster at best. The staff was an absolute delight! From the groundskeepers, housekeeping, service staff and the front desk went above and beyond! The ocean is particularly calm in this area with very little drop off that makes swimming and wading enjoyable. This spot will be revisited!

The staff here are incredible! Good food, lovely pool, delightful atmosphere. Great for me as a single traveler. Apparently lots of guests come back year after year. In a boutique type of place, full bar, full restaurant and easy support for tours, transportation to and from San Jose… loved it! Felt like family!

This is a truly great place to stay! It is at the end of Jaco Beach which makes it very quiet yet very convenient. The hotel is very clean and homey. It has a great little bar and restaurant area with very good food. There is also a small outside bar near the pool and beach. Security at the hotel is excellent. Many of the staff here have worked here for years. I have stayed here many times now and it truly is always great!

Nice property with large nicely furnished rooms. No microwave in the room we had. Great beachfront, warm pool. Good restaurant. Competent and friendly staff. This hotel is on the main road into town, and is at the bottom of a hill- which results in many trucks downshifting and making a lot of engine noise right at the hotel location. Not too disruptive during the day, but something you hear when trying to sleep at night. Not unlivable, but noticeable

Great hotel. Room was big and clean, lovely balcony with a great view (perfect to eat breakfast on). Food was very good with a great view for dinner as well. Pool area really nice and also chairs/umbrellas facing the ocean available as well.

Club del Mar has wonderful staff who are very guest-oriented and helpful. David was the concierge who provided exceptional service to me and my family. Not only was he professional with the adults, but could easily shift his linguistic register and cater to the needs/questions of an 8- and 5-year old girls. My family regreted that we didn't get to bid farewell to him. The hotel itself is perfectly nestled at the end of the Jaco beach with easy access to the ocean. It has great landscaping, phenomenal views from the balcony and easy self parking. We loved our stay there.

Great hotel right in front of the beach. They have surfing classes on site for anyone that is interested. Room was very spacious with its own private balcony. The pool was very big and would light up at dark. Hotel had its own private parking with a gate and security on staff so it felt safe. Really great location, free breakfast and front desk helped you book any excursions. Would definitely recommend and would come back again.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and taken care of. The apartment was spotless and beautiful. The property wax well manicured and in a perfect location on the best part of the beach. We would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Club del Mar. We were impressed by the suite and its roominess, cleanliness, and amenities. The restaurant was quite good and had a wide variety of options. The bar areas are very nice and welcoming. The pool was lovely and large enough for a smaller resort. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The beach was clean, but be prepared for sand that looks like mud (although it is very soft). Also be prepared that the beach is not private, but the public was very good about keeping to themselves. The added security guard at the resort keeps things at bay. Jaco is a little lackluster, but this resort is located in a safe and convenient area. Would recommend.

A very nice hotel right on the beach. Comfortable room great service and excellent food. Large pool with plenty of sunbeds to enjoy a lazy day. Only a 5 minute taxi ride into town with a few bars and restaurants close by. Really enjoyed our stay. Only downside; our room was next to the lift (try and avoid if possible) which was quite noisy when it was used and there can be a lot of noise from the large trucks using the main road in front of the hotel. That said would happily return.

We stayed here for two nights and had a great time. We were in a two bedroom ocean front condo. It was spacious, clean, well decorated, and had a stackable washer dryer which was great for us as we were mid- trip and was nice to have fresh clothes for the remainder of our vacation. We were told the condos were individually owned, so im not sure how the other My kids spent a ton of time on the beach and in the ocean right in front of the property. The beach was black sand, not a lot of people, very clean and swimmable. There was also a nice pool with lounge chairs and an outdoor bar we could order food and drinks from. There are iguanas that hang out around the property which are fun to watch. Service was amazing and staff were so friendly and accommodating. Thank you Jason, Julio, as well as the super sweet lady at the bar whose name I’m sorry has escaped me.

Lovely property on the beach with average facilities . Staff were friendly but not attentive. As it’s situated right by a major road hence there is a considerable amount. Of noise penetrating into the rooms. The rooms are a little outdated and need some TLC .

Great little place at the end of the beach, away from the major tourist areas. Nice and peaceful. Everything was great. My only complaint would be that the bed wasn’t that comfortable. But I’m also used to a $8k sleep number bed.

Great pool and reasonable drink prices and good food. Scarlet mccaws were fun to watch. Rooms close to the road are subjected to loud trucks downshifting....very loud.

we had a great stay! right on the beach. the clean part of the beach. if you get a room closer to the beach you won’t have to hear the main road traffic so much. breakfast was great. drinks at the pool bar were great. rooms were huge.

I had an amazing experience at this beautiful hotel in Jaco, Costa Rica. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. Julio at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful, setting the tone for a great stay. Ostman, the bartender, was also fantastic—super attentive and made every drink with care. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. It’s right on the beach, and the sound of the waves at night was so soothing—it truly made my sleep peaceful and restful. The vibe of the entire place was relaxed yet vibrant, and everyone I encountered went out of their way to make sure guests were happy. Without a doubt, I believe this is the best location in Jaco. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area—you won’t be disappointed!

Service comes top of mind for Club Del Mar. We arrived very late our first night and available staff went out of their way to get us situated in our condo. The fantastic service continued throughout our week there with every attention to detail! Food on site was incredible! Housekeeping kept our condo spotless! Staff was friendly and so accommodating

The staff here are incredible! Good food, lovely pool, delightful atmosphere. Great for me as a single traveler. Apparently lots of guests come back year after year. In a boutique type of place, full bar, full restaurant and easy support for tours, transportation to and from San Jose… loved it! Felt like family!

The property was beautifully maintained and located by a wonderful beach. The pool and the pool bar were just perfect. Terrific food and drinks. The staff assistance and kindness were consistently amazing!! Special mention to David’s assistance @ the front desk, Katalina making and creating terrific cocktails, chats ( and a great margarita!) with the bar manager Oscar , and finally the manager Jason who walks the property keeping an eye out to assure everyone is taken care if. Well done!

This is a truly great place to stay! It is at the end of Jaco Beach which makes it very quiet yet very convenient. The hotel is very clean and homey. It has a great little bar and restaurant area with very good food. There is also a small outside bar near the pool and beach. Security at the hotel is excellent. Many of the staff here have worked here for years. I have stayed here many times now and it truly is always great!

Club del Mar has wonderful staff who are very guest-oriented and helpful. David was the concierge who provided exceptional service to me and my family. Not only was he professional with the adults, but could easily shift his linguistic register and cater to the needs/questions of an 8- and 5-year old girls. My family regreted that we didn't get to bid farewell to him. The hotel itself is perfectly nestled at the end of the Jaco beach with easy access to the ocean. It has great landscaping, phenomenal views from the balcony and easy self parking. We loved our stay there.

I can’t say enough good things about Club Del Mar! We just got back and had the best vacation! The property is beautiful, relaxing, and safe. You are close enough to take a short taxi ride to Jaco, but far enough outside of town to feel like you’re in a totally separate place. The pool is never too crowded with plenty of loungers and is just steps away from the beach. The tiki bar is right there, too. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The accommodations were just perfect for us. We had a 2-bedroom condo for our family of five which was very comfortable, and the in-room washer and dryer was a great plus. We had a “garden view” room but still had a beautiful view of the ocean. But probably the best thing about Club Del Mar is the staff. From the minute you arrive, they make you feel completely at home. They go out of their way to be helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Tom, Jason, David, Gustavo, William, Katina, and everyone else are just the nicest people and will help you with anything you need. They will plan all of your activities for you which is so helpful. They set us up with wonderful excursions doing ATVs, ziplining, monkey mangrove tour, and Manuel Antonio day trip. Thank you CDM for making this an unforgettable trip! We will definitely see you again! Pura Vida!

A very nice hotel right on the beach. Comfortable room great service and excellent food. Large pool with plenty of sunbeds to enjoy a lazy day. Only a 5 minute taxi ride into town with a few bars and restaurants close by. Really enjoyed our stay. Only downside; our room was next to the lift (try and avoid if possible) which was quite noisy when it was used and there can be a lot of noise from the large trucks using the main road in front of the hotel. That said would happily return.

We loved this small, friendly, boutique hotel and staff. The management was excellent (Tom & Jason) and took the time to get to know everyone and get feedback on everything. The property is right next to the main road/highway and can be noisy with road traffic.

Great little place at the end of the beach, away from the major tourist areas. Nice and peaceful. Everything was great. My only complaint would be that the bed wasn’t that comfortable. But I’m also used to a $8k sleep number bed.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. The food was great, located right on the beach. I must say the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful! The rooms were clean and up to date. We enjoyed that it was not a big party hotel, it was very quiet and relaxing. We will definitely stay here next time we’re in town!

Nice property with large nicely furnished rooms. No microwave in the room we had. Great beachfront, warm pool. Good restaurant. Competent and friendly staff. This hotel is on the main road into town, and is at the bottom of a hill- which results in many trucks downshifting and making a lot of engine noise right at the hotel location. Not too disruptive during the day, but something you hear when trying to sleep at night. Not unlivable, but noticeable

Staff is super nice, property is beautiful, is pretty far away from crazy downtown Jaco so almost a "private" beach. Restaurant serves pretty good meals. You can definitely drive around to near restaurants, sights and places since is pretty close by. The negative: prices at the restaurant are pretty high, bed are NOT comfortable (at least both beds in 207 need a change ASAP), breakfast is not included (common practice in the hotels in the area) and yes, you can hear trucks all night (also housekeeping were rearranging furniture next door at 8 am one day, woke us up). Overall, the experience is good, will gladly come back.

Hotel Club Del Mar was the perfect place for our final stay on a multi-day/multi-stop trip! Right on the beach with fabulous sunset views. Very nice pool and poolside bar with daily drink specials. On-site restaurant had variety of meal options with daily specials and was so good we ate dinner there each night

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Club del Mar. We were impressed by the suite and its roominess, cleanliness, and amenities. The restaurant was quite good and had a wide variety of options. The bar areas are very nice and welcoming. The pool was lovely and large enough for a smaller resort. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The beach was clean, but be prepared for sand that looks like mud (although it is very soft). Also be prepared that the beach is not private, but the public was very good about keeping to themselves. The added security guard at the resort keeps things at bay. Jaco is a little lackluster, but this resort is located in a safe and convenient area. Would recommend.

Pros: impeccable property with alert friendly staff, excellent restaurant, safe due to the entrance gate and staff being present at the beach entrance, consistent waves and isolated beach due to it being at the end of jaco beach, great clean pools, really nice balcony. Cons: difficult to get to as you have to suddenly brake and drive into a short driveway before the staff opens a gate, the hotel is on a treacherous steep curve that was a source of very loud truck engine breaking 24 hours a day, you need to have a car to get anywhere as it’s too far to walk, beds were hard.
