Nice place. Although a bit older, it is well maintained and restored. If you like golf, this is the place for you. Very clean. The breakfast was very good. We stayed on a weekend that was getting ready to host a big pro golf tournament, so there was a lot going on in prep, but it was very nice nonetheless. We would recommend it.

So there is a serious bug problem. I think doors need to be replaced to prevent bugs. Roaches and beetles were in our room. Not ok.

I have always been a big advocate of Innisbrook and, as social members for three years, my family and I enjoyed many wonderful experiences there. One of our favorite traditions was celebrating the Fourth of July at the resort. This year, I worked a short shift from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 4th and then took my boys straight to Innisbrook. When we checked in, I asked what time the fireworks would begin. I was surprised when I was told there would be no fireworks at the resort and that nearby displays were being held at Honeymoon Island and Clearwater Beach. That seemed unusual since Innisbrook has traditionally hosted a large Fourth of July celebration. After checking into our room, we headed to the pool area, only to discover that none of the holiday activities appeared to be taking place. I wanted to get a snow cone, but was told the machine was broken. Despite the patriotic decorations, there was no music, no festive atmosphere, and very little indication that it was Independence Day. Later, I learned that the resort had actually held its fireworks celebration on July 3rd instead of July 4th. Given that this year marked America’s 250th birthday and that July 4th fell on a Saturday, I found that decision surprising. What was even more disappointing was that this information was never disclosed when I made the reservation or when I checked in. Ironically, the snow cone machine was working
