Great location for committing aviation. Layout good. But, some of the breakfast cereals were 2 Months beyond sell by date. And, the microwave only worked on full power which made using it difficult. I'll come again, but these small things should be addressed.

Skylodge is excellent value for money. The share kitchen was very well equipped and clean. The lounge area is very comfortable. The bedroom space was a bit tight, but with the adjoining share lounge it wasn’t an issue.

Enjoyed my stay. Only thing was, it was noisy as people rose early and made so much noise in the kitchen. Property was very clean. Stayed there twice as it’s a meeting point for me to collect my granddaughter, so will definitely stay again.

For the rate we were charged, very good value, comfort and amenity. The Temora Aviation Museum is worth a visit if you’re interested. We didn’t like how the room (12) and Skylodge (rooms 9-12) shared areas differed from what we’d expected, based on the Wotif description and photos. The Wotif room description lists a desk (and laptop workspace). Room 12 had no desk. We both had large laptops we wanted to use for extended periods. The shared living room did not have three leather sofas as shown in the Wotif photos, but a row of single chairs along one wall much like a waiting room. The other wall had a row of high bar stools under a long wooden shelf, which provided somewhere to sit and eat. The kitchen wasn’t the one with a meal bench and stools as shown in Wotif photos, either. Expectations need to be set more accurately, by Wotif, and by Temora Skylodge, to avoid disappointment. Looking at the Temora Skylodge’s own website, in retrospect, we realise we were given a room in the “Headquarters” building. If we’d booked direct we could have expressed a preference for the style of shared living areas shown for “Bomber & Fighter Command” buildings. However that still doesn’t explain the lack of laptop work area. The Temora Skylodge’s own website describes their Queen rooms as containing “a work station for the business traveller”.

The bedroom and bathroom were clean and well presented, and the bed was comfortable. I found the property to be super quite as it is well of the road. Lighting / illumination at the front door of each of the complexes could have been better. The central shares area and kitchen was clean and tidy. The biggest downfall was in each door of the four bedrooms that came of the central shared area there was a vent in the lower part of the door. This meant that in the dead quite of the night we could hear voices, TV and movement from the room adjacent to ours.

Great stay, the only problem was with checking in. We decided to take the option of paying on arrival, but when we arrived there was no one there to do this. We ended up ringing Wotif and they sorted it with the company. They need to say that you have to be there before 4pm to do this.

The SkyLodge offers very affordable and conveniently located accomodation for anybody travelling in the area. We have now used it twice on our way to Griffith and love the location at the Aviation Museum. It's very quite and out of town, but close enough if you want to grab a bite to eat in one of the eateries in Temora.

A great location for visiting pilots. However there is currently no taxi service in Temora and very poor Uber service. The Ex-Services Club courtesy coach does not run every night. Visiting pilots with no road transport have no way to get to town for meals on most nights.

I had to visit McDonalds in Temora, to ask the staff, where the SkyLodge was located. Fortunately, a young employee had access to maps on her phone. Once I found the venue, everything was simple and straightforward and made sense..

We were very impressed with our stay. Four rooms with private bathrooms, shared lounge/kitchen. All the guests had a good chat with each other. Light breakfast was included. A lovely place to stay, at a very reasonable price.

Clean and comfortable. Nice surprise to have a TV in the room because I had expected it to be just a shared one in the lounge room. The supplied continental breakfast was simple consisting of individual packets of cereal, bread and a selection of spreads. I doubt there were enough cereal options for all occupants when all four rooms are fully booked. I would prefer to pay a lower accommodation rate and not have any breakfast supplies provided. There was a generous supply of biscuits. It would have been better if more sugar had been supplied. Toilet paper was single ply; three ply would have been better. The shower water could have been hotter. The room heater worked well and it was a bonus to have a heat light in the bathroom.
