We were there for work . It was very out dated. Very noisy especially on sat night .. No bar in the hotel but there is another restaurant and bar within hotel its cocktail bar .. staff were friendly . Hotel needs t b renovated to bring it up to a 3 star ..

Really nice room with a lot of character and model facilities right in the centre of town with it's own parking area. Staff were great and it was a very pleasant stay

Stayed here for the second year running and so much has changed. There was a nice tented summer seating area outside in the back courtyard with heaters for the chilly evenings, however this is removed and made into extra car parking. The hotel room We stayed in only had a shower and no bath. Like all hotels they are now overrun with Ukrainians and the bread and butter visitor gets the left overs. The tourist industry is dead in the water

Good amount of parking out the back although a little tricky finding it, and I was Locked out one evening, it was tricky getting the gate opened. Room was comfortable if pretty tired. Decent shower, a good flow and hot water. There are a couple of bars and restaurants attached to the hotel but run independently, so no charge gi g to the room.

Farnham Arms was cosy and inviting. The rooms were very comfortable and the new bathrooms were a joy. We dined in the People’s Restaurant and enjoyed very high quality food. Hotel is family run and you can see the effort input to ensure guests have a wonderful time.

Quaint and interesting older hotel that hosts weekly traditional Irish jam sessions in their dining room with local participants. The manager was kind enough to coordinate the loan of a guitar for me when we travelled to nearby towns for a few days. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

Traditional Irish music on Sunday afternoons and a good pub across the street, Blessings, to watch soccer. Son esos hoteles que no quieres tocar nada o caminar. En el hotel entero y la zona donde duermes tiene una alfombra que muestra los ultimos 60 años de historia y hace tiempo que no se hace una limpieza profunda. Las sábanas eran recientes pero en un colchon que necesita ser jubilado. En general la amabilidad de algunas personas del hotel fue buena. Quiza es normal para Irlanda.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel the cleanliness from the foyer through to the rooms was excellent. The professionalism, helpfulness and 'nothing is to much trouble' attitude of all staff was second to none. The breakfast, lunches and dinner were well thought out and excellent. I would highly recommend a stay at the Farnham Arms Hotel.

It's a grand Hotel right in the centre of the town. Cooked breakfast doesn't start until 9 so we didn't wait for it. We'll be back again next week.

Is there a level above excellent? the staff were the nicest people one could meet and the home style cooking was made with love if you are going to be in Cavan do yourself a favour and book The Farnham Arms hotel- it’s simple and honest and totally authentic - I felt that I was Irish for a day Great job and good luck to the whole team
Is there a level above excellent? the staff were the nicest people one could meet and the home style cooking was made with love if you are going to be in Cavan do yourself a favour and book The Farnham Arms hotel- it’s simple and honest and totally authentic - I felt that I was Irish for a day Great job and good luck to the whole team

From the moment we stepped into the hotel the cleanliness from the foyer through to the rooms was excellent. The professionalism, helpfulness and 'nothing is to much trouble' attitude of all staff was second to none. The breakfast, lunches and dinner were well thought out and excellent. I would highly recommend a stay at the Farnham Arms Hotel.

Farnham Arms was cosy and inviting. The rooms were very comfortable and the new bathrooms were a joy. We dined in the People’s Restaurant and enjoyed very high quality food. Hotel is family run and you can see the effort input to ensure guests have a wonderful time.
