Hotel located just 50m from metro station. A 7 eleven store about 500m away. Lobby provides free coffee making machine from 7 am to 2330pm. A vending maching selling hot and cold drinks plus asahi beer. Smoking room just beside it. Tap the room key in the lift and it will automatically detect your room level. Comfortable bed, clean room which plus points are washings/dryer machine and microwave machine.

The room was clean, the facilities were modern and the bed was decent - the duvet was fantastic, and the bed a bit firm. The washing machine inside the room was very convenient, and the hotel was located in close proximity to Takanawa Gateway (as well as Shinagawa, with a bit of a walk) which made it perfect for traveling.

交通方便，但回程去機場若要搭地鐵，會有一段樓梯要搬行李！地點安靜，若非面馬路這側，窗外會看到墳墓區！在做功課時就大概知道會有，只是沒想到這麼近，在意的人可以留意！洗衣機，微波爐非常方便！獨立的冷氣，一個人住空間舒適！

702号室の読書灯？がチカチカする。上層階の物音が耳障りだった。ベッド下や洗面器に入室時からスリッパやお菓子、鉛筆の削りカス、髪の毛が落ちており不快でした。要望としては、テレビにNETFLIXなどの有料チャンネル機能があるので、気軽に見れるサービスなどあれば嬉しい！！エレベーターと浴室の装備(ReFaなど)を最新を取り入れてるところは感動しました。お世話になりました。

The service is nothing short of excellent and very responsive to fixing any issues with the hotel room. That being said, the room cleanliness is a major issue that I came across during my stay here having found pieces of fish bones and other small bits of dried out food that was not acceptable even though they addressed the issue immediately. The hotel has a very good location since it's within walking distance of the subway, JR Rail, several conbinis, restaurants, and Sengaku-ji temple (where the 47 ronin are buried). While there is a lot of construction going across the street from the hotel, it doesn't really negatively affect it. The room size is good for a solo traveler.

フロントや朝食のスタッフは、感じも良く、部屋も綺麗で快適でした。ただ、浴室の手すりに長い髪の毛が絡み付いていました。ゾッとしました。シャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディーソープ、ドライヤーまでリファで、香りもよく手触りよく仕上がって大満足です。ただ、浴室のバスタブの手すりに長い髪の毛が３本ほど絡み付いていて、ゾッとしました。同室者のためにその髪の毛を素手で取り除きましたが気持ち悪かったです。

We found bugs in 1 of the beds and we had to change rooms. We were given a choice of staying in the room but not sure if the bug situation would be resolved or change rooms. No acknowledgement of inconvenience that we faced from the 1 night with the bugs. They were going to have us move our luggage into the new rooms ourselves but they didn't have the room ready and we want to go out. In the end, they moved our luggage for us.

Bathroom has a little bit of molding smell. Room was dusty Room was smaller then expected. The washer dryer combo was really nice and easy to use. Not much restaurants or stores around the hotel Train station was really near but no escalator so it was a bit inconvenient with big luggages. Overall it's a ok place to stay for 2-3 days.

insanely convenient location for subway/train access. this area isn't super touristy so it doesn't get too crazy. only complaint is that the location should be relatively quiet normally but there was quite a bit of construction during our stay, so dealt with a lot of jackhammering until literally 2-3 am some nights.

Hotel was very close to Sengakuji station and Takanawa gateway station. Takanawa station area is under going extending construction, didn't hear any in the room tho which is good. Restaurant options is limited in the area, but absolutely love Nakau by the train station, affordable price, quick services and it opens 24 hours. We chose it because it has direct train goes to Haneda airport. There are free coffee and tea at the lobby. One complaint tho is the internet, we got kicked offline couple of times during use.

A face to face check in system is good compre with self check in system. A room with a microwave and a Washing machine is very convenient. Relatively spacious room , good Wi-Fi reception, you can control an air condition as your preference temperature is also good. Things downside is that a room is a little bit dark and can see the next property is not good which is always close the blind become no day light . I give this an 8 because the wifi isn't perfect all the time. I'm kind of surprised in a modern city like Tokyo a hotel would have occasional spotty wifi. It made for a couple of difficult work calls, although most of the time it worked fine. The walls also aren't the thickets - it wasn't really an issue for me but I would hear the phone alarm of the person above or next to me, and their alarm went on and on and on (repeated snooze?)... The washer/dryer in the room is a game changer. It's close to a subway station. Clean and in good shape. Really a great overall option for what you pay.

BEWARE: newly bought presents disappeared from our room. Housekeeping, ofcourse, didn’t know anything. The hotel did not even compensate for the cost of it. Never experience theft from a hotel room before! Unfortunately a very bad experience with this hotel. The room was spacious, with a washingmachine. Beds are a little firm. Wi-Fi is really bad. There is an automatic light in the hallway and in the toilet. This is very inconvenient when one goes to the bathroom during the night because the whole room will be lit. Very close to Sengakuji metro station, and to JR station Takanawa gateway.

When checking in they brought our luggages to our room! Definitely made it easier for us after a long day of walking. Clean and very spacious! The laundry machine was very effective and dried the clothes perfectly! Definitely recommend this location especially since it’s so close to the JR and Asakusa line! Staff were all friendly!

The hotel itself was very nice but we felt basic amenities, like water, were missing. When I asked, the staff said that I had to buy water from a vending machine in the hotel! There is a large construction site right across from the hotel so the view is not nice. But it's convenient for Haneda and close to 2 train lines. Overall, good but not sure if it's worth the price.

I have nothing but great things to say about Tokyu Stay Takanawa. Not only were the staff friendly and helpful, but the property is in a great location for first-time visitors. The Tokyo Metro and JR lines were just a short walk from the hotel (2mins max). We enjoyed the breakfast every day of our stay (even when we returned for our second stay) and the food options were traditional Japanese items, along with American options. The hotel is safe and only allows for guests to access their assigned floor with their room key. Last and most convenient thing, each room is equipped with a washer/dryer combo which made it nice to take care of laundry before we returned home. I would highly recommend for first time visitors.

We enjoyed our time at Tokyo Stay Takanawa so much, that we returned for a second stay to end our 14-day trip in Japan. The hotel is located perfectly for first-time visitors. It was so convenient to have both the Tokyo Metro and JR lines just steps from the hotel (2mins max). The hotel is safe and does not allow for solicitors and access to floors is only allowed with your room key. The area was safe to walk in the early/late hours of the day. Breakfast was a huge plus and very good. Japanese and American options were available. The most convenient accommodation had to be that each room is equipped with a washer/dryer combo, which made it nice to return home with zero laundry. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

Tokyu Stay is a chain of hotels & both of the ones I have stayed have been excellent. The rooms have been clean with nice beds & bathrooms. The breakfast buffet has a nice mixture of Japanese & western cuisine

It was a very nice overall stay. There’s a combo wash/dry machine in the unit which made it very convenient. We tried their breakfast which we thought was on a pricey side but it’s okay, food was delicious and nicely presented.

Great location. Very close to the new station. Room smells somewhat stale. Breakfast was great. Front desk is not as friendly as some other hotels. It was great that toilet is separate from bathtub but could not get an extra bar/bottle of soap for the toilet.
