Parmis les hôtels de cette partie de l’île c’est le seul qui a sa plage privée avec le restaurant et les logements à l’écart de la route . Chambre confortable personnel professionnel et accueillant. Petit déjeuner copieux, varié et bonne table Enfin une piscine digne de ce nom des vélos et ses scooter à la location. Restaurants et supérette à proximité

Outstanding room interior with lots of trim done in exotic wood. The staff was VERY friendly. The buffet breakfast was awesome. Wonderful beach and pier. And the best surprise is the hotel had a taxi ready for us at the ferry dock, which we didn't expect. They also were tied into the Lagoon Tour (NOT TO BE MISSED) which we booked independently on Trip Advisor. They confirmed our pick-up, multiple times. The only problem was the lily pond in the center of the property was breading mosquitos like crazy, so you couldn't sit no the patio... but who would do that with such a nice beach! They should really replace the lily pond with a lawn.

What a great place. Amazing staff. Super friendly. Good breakfast. There are hands on learning activities that change each day. The concierge can help with any tour planning and booking. They have ping pong, foosball, and billiards as well as the pool and beach. They offer bikes for rent as well. There is a market in easy walking distance.

Wonderful property with private beach access. Entire staff went the distance to make us feel welcome and like family! Nice breakfast, dining options were good, and the property was well maintained, cleaned and cared for. Would stay here again!

We stayed at the Royal Bora Bora for only one night in between other parts of our trip but should have planned for more nights here. While the pool is small and the fish sandwiches we had at the bar restaurant were awful, the overall resort is charming, a cool Polynesian vibe, great breakfast buffet and family friendly games area near the very nice beach with kayaks available. It is walkable to the famous Matira beach, which was beautiful, and the hotel has fun transportation to town available for guests. We were there in July during the Heiva Polynesian dance competitions, which were amazing to watch. Highly recommend for a quality, reasonably priced stay.

Enjoyed our stay at hotel Royal. Good amenities, clean, kind staff. One restaurant but they have many options, we ate there often. Breakfast had many choices and was very good. Excellent beach, calm, relaxing, good for snorkeling. The pool is very nice as well. Stayed for our honeymoon.

La chambre de 27 mètres carrés était suffisamment grande et propre. Elle dispose d'une petite terrasse. Le wifi fonctionnait bien, sauf pour le téléchargement d'images et de vidéos. Il y a un mini-bar vide, ce qui est pratique pour mettre ses propres boissons au frais. Le lit est très grand. Des serviettes de plages sont distribuées par la réception. Les réceptionnistes sont sympathiques. Mais il n'y a pas souvent quelqu'un au bureau des excursions. L'hôtel dispose d'une piscine, d'un bar-restaurant et d'une jolie plage privée avec des transats. On peut louer des kayaks pour 2000 francs les 2 heures. La superbe plage de Matira est à 15 minutes à pied. L'hôtel a également un petit parking en face. Pour aller à la chambre, il faut traverser la petite route, ce qui n'est pas dérangeant. Le jardin au centre des bâtiments est habité par les beaux coqs et les belles poules. Concert garanti et gratuit. Une épicerie est à proximité immédiate.

Très bon hôtel sur Bora Bora. L’ensemble du personnel est au petit soin. Le parc dans lequel il y a les chambres est beau et bien entretenu. La chambre et la salle de bain sont spacieuses, le lit est très confortable. Service de ménage tous les jours si on le souhaite. La plage et la piscine sont agréables, il y a le bar juste à côté. Enfin le petit déjeuner est varié et bon. Le buffet lors de la soirée polynésienne était bien aussi. Je recommande cet hôtel. Tout est conforme aux photos. The rooms are located on the inland side of the road, while the reception and amenities are by the sea. I loved the room decorations and design with a 70s style. The bed is comfortable, and there is a daybed as well. The surrounding grounds are lush and beautiful. The hotel has great bikes for rent. If you walk or bike north of the hotel, you can reach abandoned luxury hotels and enjoy views over the mountain. At a shorter distance to the south, you’ll reach some restaurants, grocery shops, and Matira beach. The beach at the hotel has coral. There is plenty of fish and also stingrays. The lights at night make it possible to observe the fish, which is a nice feature. The pool is small but nice, though it is located by the bar, so I preferred using it outside of meal hours. Unfortunately, I got sick after dinner on my last night, so my final evening was not pleasant. Despite this, I would recommend this hotel, and it feels good to support a Polynesian-managed property.

Das Hotel hat einen kleinen, aber feinen Strand. Der Garten, um welchen die Unterkünfte stehen, ist sehr schön. Frühstück war überschaubar, aber würden jeden etwas dabei. Am schlimmsten sind die Zimmer, die muffig und verschimmelt gerochen haben. Wer etwas günstiges sucht, ist hier richtig aufgehoben. Ich würde dennoch nicht noch mal buchen da ich die Zimmer und den Geruch sehr schlimm fand.

The worst! I wanted to check out the moment we checked in. Room was clean. But there were tons of ants everywhere which got in all of our bags! Food was not edible. Avoid completely.

Everything about this property was Excellent! So beautiful, the staff could not have been nicer, lovely outdoor area around the rooms, just a really great facility. And of course, the location...one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.

Gemütliches Hotel in landestypischen Stil mit Privatstrand. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und wurden täglich sehr gut gereinigt. Von Terasse/Balkon hat man eine tolle Aussicht in die hübsche Gartenanlage. Der Pool- und Strandbereich sind gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück war völlig ausreichend und für jeden war etwas dabei. Ein kleiner Supermarkt befindet sich gleich neben dem Hotel. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Hotel, was ich jederzeit wieder buchen würde.

We stayed here one night the rooms are large and comfortable. The main attraction is across the street from the rooms where the ocean, restaurant and pool is located. I did not mind crossing the street. The ocean is calm and the water is crystal clear. I wish we stayed her longer.

Die Internetverbindung war sehr schlecht, alles andere war wunderbar! Das Zimmer war schön groß mit viel Stauraum, bequemen Betten (nicht durchgelegen, mittelhart). Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und schöner Aussicht in den Garten. Hier war es ruhig und bequem. Es gab einen Föhn, einen Wasserkocher und eine gut funktionierende, leise Klimaanlage. um zum Hauptgebäude zu gelangen, muss man eine Straße überqueren. Im Hauptgebäude ist die Rezeption, das Restaurant, einen Pool, Billiard- und Tischtennisplatten. Weiterhin kann man sich Fahrräder, Kanus, Schnorchelausrüstung und Velos ausleihen. Wir hatten eine Resortfee von 4000 XPF, die man nur für diese dinge einsetzten kann und so liehen wir fast jeden tag Fahrräder aus, um nach Vaitapee oder zu dem schönen Matira Beach zu fahren. Aber auch das Hotel hat einen sehr schönen, kleinen Strand mit Schnorchelmöglichkeit. Klein aber fein. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich, auch wenn häufig viel zu tun war. Selbst eine kaputte Sandale wurde auf Anhieb repariert. Service wird hier groß geschrieben! Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Frische Croissants, Baguette, Kuchen, Salami, Schinken, verschiedene Käsesorten, viel gut zubereitetes Obst, Joghurt, Trockenfrüchte und Nüsse..., außerdem natürlich Eier, Bacon, Pfannkluchen usw.. Da wir das nicht essen, hätte ich es beinahe vergessen. Preisleistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Bitte halten Sie es so, so dass Bora Bora noch bezahlbar bleibt. Die Bilder stimmen mit der Wirklichkeit überein!

Property was gorgeous. Most of the staff was friendly & welcoming. We had no hot water in room the first day. WI-FI connection in room was really slow.

Stayed here for five days. Had a great time. The staff is amazing in a perfect spot. Close to the only public beach within walking distance of 10 minutes. Breakfast was good. I would compare it to a small Marriott same type of rooms same type of atmosphere.

Rooms are getting a bit dated but very clean. Didn’t have any facecloths or bottled water in the rooms.

This is an affordable hotel in Bora Bora. The desk staff and restaurant staff are friendly and fun. The rooms are large, and the furnishings are suitable for the price of these rooms. The beach, pool, and restaurant are all located across the street. The hotel arranged transfers to and from the airport.

Sehr schönes Zimmer, gutes Frühstück, gutes Wifi. Fahrräder und E-Scooter vor Ort buchbar. Schöner Strand, man kommt gut ins tiefe Wasser mit Hausriff.

The unique quality about this hotel is the beach, its small and overlooks the ocean providing stunning ocean view. The only negative is all rooms are located across the road and none are ocean side to absorb the view even more.

This is a great property; they have a nice beach and is an excellent value for the money. My only feedback is that on occasion I wish the staff would come across a little warmer in regard to their interaction. But overall, this is an excellent place to stay!

This Hotel itself is lovely and perfect for what we needed. Snorkeling right off of the private beach. Check in was smooth but after that if you need help with anything you are out of luck. Rude staff at front desk and we were charged for shuttle bus that they never even told us exisited. They would not help us with phone not working or confirm any tours that we did not book through them even though they knew of the tour company. Not sure if I'd stay again.

Très mauvaise expérience. À l’arrivée, aucun accueil : « débrouillez-vous avec vos valises », même pas accompagnés à la chambre. Serveuse insolente au restaurant, qui nous insulte après 1h d’attente : « Je suis pas pâtissière ! ». Facture truquée avec des prestations jamais consommées (4 excursions ajoutées sans autorisation). Dédommagement refusé, aucune excuse, le directeur refuse tout geste, même pas un bonjour. Piscine sale, plats médiocres, et des rats vus autour du restaurant. Un hôtel à fuir, honteux pour Bora Bora.

The room was good, we loved the beach setting, the breakfast was also good. Staff are friendly but the customer services can be improved. They require a separate deposit for the beach towels which seemed like an awkward system to me. The activity desk tells you to scan the QR code to see the activities instead of talking to us. They also tried to charge the accommodation tax twice, at check-in and check-out.

I booked 2 nights, hotel offered me transfer from ferry to hotel 35usd for 2 persons. We researched through others experiences and we didn’t accept with no answer. By my flight delayed more 8 hours, we came to ferry almost 8pm. While we tried to find a way to get hotel, suddenly a shuttle with maybe 10 people seating, all were shouting “free”. Still confusing, we asked a driver how the price (while he raised a cardboard with name of Royal Bora Bora) many times. Finally he nodded his head together”free”. We went ahead to get in a car. After dropping 10 people off at Maitai hotel, continue to my hotel only us. When checked in, the receptionist didn’t ask any questions about the shuttle. Hotel sold a shopping bus with 1,00xfp/round trip/person. We asked them how far from hotel to shopping if comparing to ferry? We felt they wasn’t happy on their face after answered: they’re same distance. Shopping was where we didn’t see only a ferry that we came at night August 5? Besides that, while we check out, they charged me 3,500xfp without any explaining? Then, they help us to call a taxi to Black Pearl bungalow but when my husband forgot phone on taxi, we messaged to hotel help, “ I don’t know driver’s phone numbers😩, no ideas! Breakfast for 2 days was the same everything. Cleaning was so far so good. Employees were dedicated 👍. With us, hotel wasn’t enough kindly to guests.

Great location and staff,everyone I encountered was lovely and helpful. Tour Desk staff were brilliant ,organised all my activities,clean rooms ,lovely pool and right on the beach. Reasonable price and nice included breakfast. Beautiful day spa with many msages etc available,but sadly over priced.

Room ok for the price. Staff not friendly at reception. Pool suppoesed to look into the 'ocean',but blocked by shrubs that they grew infront of it.

Super hôtel à prix raisonnable à Bora Bora. Accueil chaleureux des employés de la réception. Ils sont toujours disponible et serviable. Belle chambre dans des bâtiments dans de très beaux jardins. Très bon buffet de petit déjeuner. Superbe plage avec suffisamment de transat. Petite épicerie à 2 minutes à pied. Plage de Matira et restaurants à environ 10 minutes à pieds.

Nice hotel on the east side of the island. Easy access to bike and car rentals.

There is an inexpensive shuttle from the ferry dock to the hotel and back. Absolutely beautiful setting on the water with a pretty beach and dock. Sunrises were a main event each day. The surroundings are lovely gardens, and it is an easy walk to several stores. The pool is decent. Room is clean and comfortable. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Beware of mosquitoes. I had no trouble with them until I had to wait in the lobby for my ride to the airport. I was eaten alive by them. It's also a good idea to bring ear plugs. The roosters are relentless and start early, by 3am sometimes. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Quiet and comfortable in garden setting. Some snorkeling straight off the beach at the hotel but was very windy during our stay. Matira beach is better for swimming and snorkeling and walkable.

The check-in person was unfriendly but we did get into our room early. No electricity without a key card so paid extra for a second card so AC and fridge would run when we were out. The breakfast buffet (included) was pretty good but the rest of the menu - not great and overpriced. The Polynesian buffet was very overpriced and awful - mostly coconut curry with fatty meat or raw fish; the salad was huge hunks of greens with one dressing; dessert was stewed fruit. I could eat white rice and bread. The show was excellent - great musicians, vocalist and dancers. All food and bar service was slow - understaffed but nice people. We had ants, spiders and millipedes in our room.

Our room had everything we needed and it’s an easy walk to the beach. We rented bikes and also scooters through the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a Polynesian buffet and show the night we checked in which was great. My only complaint was the restaurant wasn’t great, although we did enjoy the breakfast.

Credo abbastanza sicura. Comunque ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo con una bella spiaggia privata. Ristorante di buona qualità, ottimi i dolci al cioccolato fondente. Colazione completa con dolce e salato. La scelta non è molto ampia, ma nemmeno scarsa. Unica nota leggermente negativa: le serate con cena a buffet... Troppe e con un prezzo troppo alto. Nelle serate normali, ordinando a la carte e mangiando senza abbuffarci spendavamo la metà. Nota molto positiva: il personale, tutti gentilissimi e professionali: alla reception, al ristorante, al bar e anche le signore delle camere. Consiglio assolutamente questa struttura e se ritornerò a Bora Bora tornerò sicuramente al Royal...

The resort is a great alternative to the pricier resorts. The staff was all helpful and very welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. My only real complaint would be that the food was not at all good - especially for the price.

A wonderful spot to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the island. The rooms are comfortable and the air conditioning is great. The beach and pool are perfect for relaxing, enjoying a beautiful view and even with a lot of people in the resort it never felt crowded.
