No podríamos haber elegido mejor lugar para quedarnos, tienen un servicio excepcional, Marybeth fue extremadamente amable, gentil y servicial, la junior suite tiene dos habitaciones en excelentes condiciones, verdaderamente están enfocados en hacer que el huésped se sienta satisfecho. Están en Arsenale a escasos metros de la estación para subirse al vaporeto, hay restaurantes alrededor y hasta un sitio de gelatos, no te fijes en que no hay elevador, en realidad la junior suite valió cada euro que pagamos. Si volviera a Venezia sin duda regresamos. ,

We stayed 5 nigths at this place, and the room was spaceous, and comfortable with a nice view towards the seaside in Venice, and the stop for the waterbus "Arsenale". The room was cleaned nicely every day, and they even gave us new waterbotles every day with no extra charged. Friendly staff and a perfect location . The location is just a litle outside the most crowded place and close to a more local area in Venice, but stil close to the city centre. Breakfast is not included, but we had breakfast in local shops/restaurants close to the place. The room, and the staff was great and we recommend the place. Even the price was nice compared to other hotels.

It was wonderful! It was located one story above ground level. The stairs were easy to climb. They communicated well, greeted us upon arrival, supplied us with a few snacks, sodas, and waters. Access onto the building, the apartment entry and room was done digitally. We had a beautiful view of the ocean.

Location is just outside the over-touristy area, quiet and nice. Boat stop just by. The owner and the woman doing housekeeping is very kind, and service minded. Big rooms, and very clean. Be aware that this is not a hotel with reception (as almost every place in the area), so make sure to get the check in instructions in advance. If ever going to Venice again, I would stay here.

Very easy to get to from the airport (50m walk from the ferry stop). Very clean. The wifi was a little slow, but I think it’s because we were in the back rooms. Very friendly staff!

Such an amazing spot to stay in, very clean and friendly helpful staff, also a great location away from the busy crowd and mostly surrounded by the locals, it has a quick access to water transportations to explore tourist destination around, plenty of restaurants, cafe and art gallery across the bridge. Definitely come back and stay here again :)

Barbara was so helpful and Marybeth who keeps the place sparkling is a true gem. The location was ideal because of its proximity to the highlights of Venice yet away to escape the crowds. When in Venice next, I will definitely return.

This is a great place to stay—within walking distance to the market area, shops, and plenty of restaurants. Our entire stay was well-organized by Porta da Mar. Barbara reached out to us in advance, provided clear directions, and made sure we arrived without any issues. Although we were initially given a room without a sea view, she was able to upgrade us at no extra cost. I highly recommend Porta da Mar to anyone visiting the area

Amazing boutique hotel, with amazing staff. Everyone from the owner/top mgmt to the day staff, were so helpful, kind and courteous. Perfect location and we even got upgraded to the sea views room. Spectacular!! We can not recommend Porta Da Mar enough.

The 2 owners are so friendly and accommodating. We cant say enough good things about them. This is conveniently located next to 2 public "bus" (water buses) stops. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the really popular shopping areas. We are so glad we decided to stay here as opposed to right in the middle of everything.

The property was great but the staff were confusing. They sent an email requesting documents to be sent in order to receive the door code. We sent them and they sent the door code and another document with the code stating that no tax was imposed during the date of our stay. After checking out we started receiving texts saying we never submitted our documents or paid the fees. They were very rude and unfriendly

El hotel está muy bien ubicado , llegas directo del aeropuerto en el vaporetto el muelle está muy cerca no tienes que caminar mucho, solo Ubicar bien tu muelle, el Trato de la Host fue muy bueno se domingo en todo momento con las instrucciones para la llegada , hay restaurantes muy cerca

El hotel está muy bien ubicado , llegas directo del aeropuerto en el vaporetto el muelle está muy cerca no tienes que caminar mucho, solo Ubicar bien tu muelle, el Trato de la Host fue muy bueno se domingo en todo momento con las instrucciones para la llegada , hay restaurantes muy cerca

The 2 owners are so friendly and accommodating. We cant say enough good things about them. This is conveniently located next to 2 public "bus" (water buses) stops. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the really popular shopping areas. We are so glad we decided to stay here as opposed to right in the middle of everything.

Such an amazing spot to stay in, very clean and friendly helpful staff, also a great location away from the busy crowd and mostly surrounded by the locals, it has a quick access to water transportations to explore tourist destination around, plenty of restaurants, cafe and art gallery across the bridge. Definitely come back and stay here again :)

This was an excellent experience. The location is convenient along the waterfront, the communication with the proprietary was excellent and our room was spotlessly clean.

Flott rom med fantastisk utsikt, moderne og nyoppusset. Bildene på Hotels.com er representative. Rolig område og likevel kort vei til Markusplassen, shopping og kafeer. Enkelt å komme dit, Vaporetto ferja stoppet rett utenfor. Kommer gjerne tilbake!

El hotel está muy bien ubicado , llegas directo del aeropuerto en el vaporetto el muelle está muy cerca no tienes que caminar mucho, solo Ubicar bien tu muelle, el Trato de la Host fue muy bueno se domingo en todo momento con las instrucciones para la llegada , hay restaurantes muy cerca

We stayed 5 nigths at this place, and the room was spaceous, and comfortable with a nice view towards the seaside in Venice, and the stop for the waterbus "Arsenale". The room was cleaned nicely every day, and they even gave us new waterbotles every day with no extra charged. Friendly staff and a perfect location . The location is just a litle outside the most crowded place and close to a more local area in Venice, but stil close to the city centre. Breakfast is not included, but we had breakfast in local shops/restaurants close to the place. The room, and the staff was great and we recommend the place. Even the price was nice compared to other hotels.

It was wonderful! It was located one story above ground level. The stairs were easy to climb. They communicated well, greeted us upon arrival, supplied us with a few snacks, sodas, and waters. Access onto the building, the apartment entry and room was done digitally. We had a beautiful view of the ocean.

Barbara (hotel mgr) is incredible! Only one challenge. I booked the suite that was pictured with the king bed and a window overlooking St Mark’s square. This is NOT our view. Our view was of a wall. Our room was huge. More like an apartment. There are 6 rooms in this hotel. The location is amazing! We would book here again for sure!! Clean and very safe. Great lock system to access the hotel & your room.

We loved our stay here. Our room was clean and comfortable. More than enough room for the 2 of us. Checking in was easy and the instructions provided were clear. The staff were lovely also. The location is great! It’s a little bit away from the main tourist attractions, but still walkable. The area was less busy and had more of a local feel. It’s also right by the water which is lovely. The sunsets were great. Bonus points for it being right next to a gelato shop! Right outside is a water taxi stop that made getting to and from the hotel super easy. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Jag trivdes väldigt bra på Porta da Mar! Jag var i Venedig bland annat för att besöka konstbiennalen och hotellets läge var perfekt. Det visade sig vara ett väl dolt, men mycket personligt och trevligt hotell. Rummet var fräscht och rymligt, med välfungerande AC. Utsikten från de gemensamma utrymmena var fantastisk! Och personalen var verkligen välkomnande och hjälpsam. Området är perfekt om man vill undvika de värsta turistmassorna, men ändå ha nära in till de centrala delarna. Jag återvänder gärna!

Beautiful room with view of canal. The digital key system was okay, but my phone and backup charger died by the end of the day and I had to borrow a charging station at the cafe. Would have preferred a real key. The place has stairs, no elevator, so carrying luggage up the stairs was a bit of a burden. Otherwise, once we got in the room, it was lovely.

Beautiful spacious room with a huge bathroom and magnificent view of Venice ( Castillo Room ). Maribeth was very helpful and we felt looked after as nothing was too much trouble. Everything is nearby including some amazing restaurants. Highly recommend.
