Perfect location for our two day stay in Rome ! Trastevere is the perfect location and this little suite was great for our family. We had two rooms and the reception area with coffee, water and pastry in the mornings was a great way to start the day. They arranged for our private transfer to the airport, and arranged for contactless check in when our train didn’t arrive until after normal reception hours. We would definitely stay again!!!

Host was very kind and a good baker! Room was clean and cozy, and had a great shower. The only hardship was not having much of an area to pull over to check-in, and maybe a map of where the parking garage was. Otherwise place was great

It was a quiet guest house, even though lungotevere is a Main Street. It was perfect for short stay, bed & room comfortable size and was easy walking to colosseum and really anywhere. Trastevere is at your doorstep. Best way of contact is via Expedia or calling the contact # they provide, not what’s ap. Helpful in setting up taxi to airport and getting us checked as soon as we got there, we did notify them of our estimated arrival via train and someone was waiting for us for smooth check in. We had a 20€ food & beverage -only used a portion of it. No issue getting a good nights rest.

Very clean and modern apartment in a great walkable area. There is a nice common area with some food and coffee/tea. There were no directions on how to use the coffeemaker - frustrating. The room was a little to bright at night, otherwise it was a nice stay.

For the price point, this property was exceptional. Located in a fantastic part of the city (the Trastevere), it was also easy walking distance to many parts of the city and to the major sights. Although it’s located on a main road, the dual-paned windows delightfully masked the sound of the traffic just outside the window. The bed was very comfortable and linens high-quality. Loved the waterfall shower. Also really appreciated the access to the small but well-appointed lounge and kitchen area. The espresso, as well as the fresh cakes and treats, were wonderful.

It was a very convenient location for us, walking to the Circo Massimo and Colosseum. Room was easy to find with Laura's excellent communication and instructions. Comfortable room, small snake area had coffee's, teas and snacks available.

Let me start Bryan saying Laura was a GREAT hosted to this small (4) unit property. All was great until our last night. In the middle of the night our room was fill with the overpowering smell of Ammonia. Not sure what happened but it made my wife and I nauseous . The room was not occupiable. We Brought this to Laura’s attention immediately when she arrived in the morning. She didn’t appear to take this seriously until her maintenance man brought it to her attention.. We feel the situation was handled poorly as any hotel/ motel, etc would have moved us or comped us 1 night…

Excellent hotel right in the heart of the historic district of Rome. There are only four rooms in this establishment, contained in an area of a centuries old building. The owner was there to greet us and give us a tour of the facility. She also provided advice for visiting the surrounding area. The room itself was clean and updated. You are within walking distance to all tourist attractions. Highly recommend recommended.

We arrived early in the AM (3am). Instructions to enter were very easy and safe. Clean room and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great location for restaurants!

We have just enjoyed a three day trip to Rome and stayed at the Palazzo Baj guest house. The guesthouse and the room was exceptionally clean and facilities were of a high standard. The Palazzo Baj is located in the Trastevere area which is full of excellent restaurants and cafes, and all the other sights Rome has to offer are within walking distance. The road outside is fairly noisy but that’s to be expected I guess in a city such as Rome. We did the self check in as we didn’t arrive until late in the evening, and we didn’t seen any staff/the owners at all during our stay until we checked out three days later, as we were out early each morning. We did experience some noise from the apartment above one night who sounded as if they were having a party and because of the nature of the building the noise travelled and the sounds of chairs etc scraping on the ceiling meant we didn’t get a great nights sleep. We did WhatsApp the owners of the guesthouse who did respond quickly although understandably there wasn’t much they could do in hindsight. It would have been nice if they could have checked in with us the next day or even asked how our stay was at check out, however it was a case of us handing our keys over to a gentleman who said said goodbye to us, and that was it, which did feel a little strange.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the room was immaculate and located just on the river surrounded by shops and restaurants. Our host Laura was amazing ! She was so helpful and accommodating and made our trip just a little bit easier with her help and guidance ☺️

Fantastic location, we walked everywhere from there. Its in the quiet end of Trastevere, which felt more local, but still endless choice of restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk away. The room was large and really comfortable with a lovely treelined view across to the river. Its on a busy road but the sound proofing was excellent. Laura gave us some fantastic suggestions for restaurants and other places and markets we might like, and made some reservations for us. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Rome!
Fantastic location, we walked everywhere from there. Its in the quiet end of Trastevere, which felt more local, but still endless choice of restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk away. The room was large and really comfortable with a lovely treelined view across to the river. Its on a busy road but the sound proofing was excellent. Laura gave us some fantastic suggestions for restaurants and other places and markets we might like, and made some reservations for us. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Rome!

Great location in Trastevere, easy check in and check out. It is along a main road which makes for easy walking and taxi transportation, but the windows keep the room absolutely silent.

I’ve stayed in several places and several areas in Rome and this one is very convenient and pleasant. Lovely updated spacious room I stayed in. Busy street in front but the rooms are sound proof enough from traffic. It is a 4 bedroom guest house not a hotel but there is super helpful staff at the front desk during the day for all the help you could need and more including plenty of advice on sites and food. They provided an early check in for me as it was available and watched my bags for me after checkout.

We have just enjoyed a three day trip to Rome and stayed at the Palazzo Baj guest house. The guesthouse and the room was exceptionally clean and facilities were of a high standard. The Palazzo Baj is located in the Trastevere area which is full of excellent restaurants and cafes, and all the other sights Rome has to offer are within walking distance. The road outside is fairly noisy but that’s to be expected I guess in a city such as Rome. We did the self check in as we didn’t arrive until late in the evening, and we didn’t seen any staff/the owners at all during our stay until we checked out three days later, as we were out early each morning. We did experience some noise from the apartment above one night who sounded as if they were having a party and because of the nature of the building the noise travelled and the sounds of chairs etc scraping on the ceiling meant we didn’t get a great nights sleep. We did WhatsApp the owners of the guesthouse who did respond quickly although understandably there wasn’t much they could do in hindsight. It would have been nice if they could have checked in with us the next day or even asked how our stay was at check out, however it was a case of us handing our keys over to a gentleman who said said goodbye to us, and that was it, which did feel a little strange.

Very clean and modern apartment in a great walkable area. There is a nice common area with some food and coffee/tea. There were no directions on how to use the coffeemaker - frustrating. The room was a little to bright at night, otherwise it was a nice stay.

Laura was a tremendous host! We were able to check in to our room early and she provided a list of recommendations for dining options. The room is small but very clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom is clean and upgraded as well. Great location and convenient for exploring the streets of Trastevere. Would recommend!

For the price point, this property was exceptional. Located in a fantastic part of the city (the Trastevere), it was also easy walking distance to many parts of the city and to the major sights. Although it’s located on a main road, the dual-paned windows delightfully masked the sound of the traffic just outside the window. The bed was very comfortable and linens high-quality. Loved the waterfall shower. Also really appreciated the access to the small but well-appointed lounge and kitchen area. The espresso, as well as the fresh cakes and treats, were wonderful.

Let me start Bryan saying Laura was a GREAT hosted to this small (4) unit property. All was great until our last night. In the middle of the night our room was fill with the overpowering smell of Ammonia. Not sure what happened but it made my wife and I nauseous . The room was not occupiable. We Brought this to Laura’s attention immediately when she arrived in the morning. She didn’t appear to take this seriously until her maintenance man brought it to her attention.. We feel the situation was handled poorly as any hotel/ motel, etc would have moved us or comped us 1 night…

We enjoyed the Palazzo Baj so very much. Laura our Host was a delight to work with. She took care of everything for us from transportation to and from airport as well as to the port. I would go back there in a heartbeat 💗

Laura was amazing! She was so helpful before we arrived but was there to greet us, show us around and how everything worked! The location was perfect and her dinner recommendations were spectacular! We couldn’t have had a better experience for our last evening in Europe. The car service that she pre-booked (about 3 weeks prior) was right on time, driver was friendly and the van was spotless! Well worth a little extra money!

It took 3 phone calls and 5 emails for laura to respond to me for out of office check in instructions. I was given a room next to a petrol station and it was noisy all night with drunk people. I was due to receive a Euro 20 food credit and Laura refused this categorically. I found her behavior very unprofessional and incompetent. I wish we cpuld have had a better experience

Excellent hotel right in the heart of the historic district of Rome. There are only four rooms in this establishment, contained in an area of a centuries old building. The owner was there to greet us and give us a tour of the facility. She also provided advice for visiting the surrounding area. The room itself was clean and updated. You are within walking distance to all tourist attractions. Highly recommend recommended.

Perfect location for our two day stay in Rome ! Trastevere is the perfect location and this little suite was great for our family. We had two rooms and the reception area with coffee, water and pastry in the mornings was a great way to start the day. They arranged for our private transfer to the airport, and arranged for contactless check in when our train didn’t arrive until after normal reception hours. We would definitely stay again!!!

It was a quiet guest house, even though lungotevere is a Main Street. It was perfect for short stay, bed & room comfortable size and was easy walking to colosseum and really anywhere. Trastevere is at your doorstep. Best way of contact is via Expedia or calling the contact # they provide, not what’s ap. Helpful in setting up taxi to airport and getting us checked as soon as we got there, we did notify them of our estimated arrival via train and someone was waiting for us for smooth check in. We had a 20€ food & beverage -only used a portion of it. No issue getting a good nights rest.

It was a very convenient location for us, walking to the Circo Massimo and Colosseum. Room was easy to find with Laura's excellent communication and instructions. Comfortable room, small snake area had coffee's, teas and snacks available.

There are 4 rooms only. All on the ground level. That kept everything close and convenient. Walking distance to everything! Safe area. Many small eateries nearby. Tiber River across the street. Good A/C! Clean private bathroom. Wonderful host!!! I would book it again.

Don’t be deceived - it’s not palace, not even a hotel - it’s a Guest House. No staff at the front desk and entering the building and room - goes through using codes. The so called ”lounge” and ”buffet” - is not how anyone would define it. But, that's not what you pay for - you pay for the location! You have ancient Rome just over the bridge and you have Trastevere's wide range of shops and restaurants. It doesn't matter that there is no breakfast - there are plenty of cozy cafes to go to. The owner is incredibly nice and service-minded. She will help you with restaurant tips and help you book a table. As long as you are aware what you are booking - this is a jewel.
