Wonderful stay, great location. Very old feeling, right in the heart of the city. The apartment was very clean, well appointed if you wanted to do basic cooking, very nice bathroom with plenty of shampoo and soap. He had little additions like a blender, and other cooking items if you wanted more than basic cooking as well. Two burners which were nice. We did not use those. The air conditioning worked perfectly! Two separate units so the place could be as cool or warm as you wanted. Great view of the streets of Venice when you look out of your windows. Nice place to hang your clothes to dry if you wanted to dry them the natural way. He also had a small combination, washer and dryer that was wonderful for catching up on some Cleaning. If you are older, or unsteady on your feet, be aware that you do have to go up three flights of steps that could be a little bit hard for you. We are young, and healthy, and had no issues at all with that.

Perfect location in Venice. Quiet but a short walk from the main attractions. The apartment is certainly clean and has plenty of room. It is a loft apartment with high ceilings but low beams so if you’re over 175cm you may need to duck for the bedroom door. My husband is 180 and it was fine as he was cautious. He loved this l place! The stairs are very challenging even for Venice, so if you have large luggage or are not able to carry your own then you should definitely use a porter service, which is readily available- just ask your marvellous host. We absolutely loved this apartment and we are looking forward to staying again. It may not suit everyone but those that can make the stairs will be rewarded with a beautiful and authentic Venetian experience!

Apartment is clean. Listing did not mention four flights of stairs. Although the listing is for a two bedroom apartment, and we were only two people staying in the apartment, the host charged us an extra 20 euros for using the second bedroom, which I thought was very weird. There is a dining table, but no other sitting area.

Wow! This was our first stop after a long flight from Denver to Venice and was a welcome respite while we adjusted to time and regrouped. The stairs are a bit steep and worked well with carry on bags, but might be a challenge for anything full sized. Worth the climb to stay in this 2 bedroom suite with a great bathroom, mini kitchen with washer and stocked with plates and all needed to make a quick meal or enjoy a cup of espresso. So nice to find prosecco waiting for us chilled in the refrigerator! Lovely, quieter corner of Venice with great restaurants nearby and cappuccino in the morning. Easy vaporetto ride and short walk from San Toma stop. A welcome step away from crazy crowds of St Mark's square- highly recommend. Note- the cute beams are low for anyone over 6 feet. This was the attic of an old building- great to stay, but may need to mind your head!

We absolutely loved this place. Everything in it was brand new and gorgeous inside. The beds were made up like hotel beds. It had a washer and dryer combination unit which was awesome. It was extremely modern yet the building it was in was incredibly old and they kept the beautiful rafters in the ceiling. If we return to Venice again, we would definitely definitely stay here.
We absolutely loved this place. Everything in it was brand new and gorgeous inside. The beds were made up like hotel beds. It had a washer and dryer combination unit which was awesome. It was extremely modern yet the building it was in was incredibly old and they kept the beautiful rafters in the ceiling. If we return to Venice again, we would definitely definitely stay here.

Property manager was very easy to communicate with and always available when I needed to reach him. The property was very clean and well maintained. He enjoyed the Aste Spumante provided by the host. Property is a short walk to most sight seeing locations. We we are a tall family and had to slightly duck to get into the two bedrooms. We are 5‘11“. Not great for anyone taller than that. Also, we arrived with a lot of luggage and the staircases leading to the front door of the property are extremely steep. There is another set of stairs once you’re in the property with no handrail. Not the end of the world if you don’t have a lot of heavy luggage but if you do, it’s a bit of an issue.

This apartment spoils you for any other apartment. We are currently in Florence staying in a more expensive apartment in a area which is not as nice as Marco's apartment. Out of 10 we would give it 4.But Marco's was like a palace absolutely brilliant with everything you could possibly need. Out of 10 we would give it 20 (it is so good). Marco recommended a local restaurant where we had such a good meal we ate there both nights. A wonderful host who could charge far more for his lovely and spotlessly clean apartment.

We spent the first night of our recent trip to Europe at this apartment. The room was nice, clean, and conveniently located to both the train and bus station as well as major sites within Venice. We will certainly plan to stay here again when we return to Venice.

We loved Marco and Natalia. They were wonderful hosts and respond quickly. Their apartment was only 10 min walk from train station and in a great location. Clean and renovated but in an old historic building with a lot of charm. They were very accommodating. We loved Venice.

We loved this property. The location was not too far to walk to see things but away enough from night life that it was quiet when you wanted to go to bed. The property was clean and we appreciated the espresso maker and the bottle of Prosecco that was left for us. Would not recommend for very tall people because the beams are low if you’re over 6ft tall.

This apartment is lovely. Marco and his wife are wonderful hosts. However, due to the steep, aged stairs in the building, we would not recommend the apartment for families with toddlers or anyone with mobility issues. Also, you do not want to carry big, heavy suitcases up and down these stairs. But, for a family with older kids or all adults, this is a beautifully redone apartment. The bathroom is the best I've seen in Europe. The bedrooms are very comfortable. There is a table and chairs, but no sofa in the common area. Depending upon how much time you plan on spending in the apartment, this may or may not matter to you.

Look no further for a place to stay in Venice! To begin, communication with Marco was great as he responded to all my inquiries right away which I really appreciated and check-in and check-out were a breeze. We actually arrived in Venice before check in time and Marco allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment so we could explore while the apartment was cleaned from the previous guests. This apartment is immaculate, has all amenities and in a central, yet quiet, location. We appreciated the extra touches - soaps, shampoos and lotions as well as the bottle of sparkling wine! We really loved staying here.

Wonderful stay, great location. Very old feeling, right in the heart of the city. The apartment was very clean, well appointed if you wanted to do basic cooking, very nice bathroom with plenty of shampoo and soap. He had little additions like a blender, and other cooking items if you wanted more than basic cooking as well. Two burners which were nice. We did not use those. The air conditioning worked perfectly! Two separate units so the place could be as cool or warm as you wanted. Great view of the streets of Venice when you look out of your windows. Nice place to hang your clothes to dry if you wanted to dry them the natural way. He also had a small combination, washer and dryer that was wonderful for catching up on some Cleaning. If you are older, or unsteady on your feet, be aware that you do have to go up three flights of steps that could be a little bit hard for you. We are young, and healthy, and had no issues at all with that.

This was a beautifully furnished apartment in the San Polo area. It was centrally located and close to groceries, restaurants and cafes! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and it had all the amenities for a very comfortable stay. Please note that it is on the 3rd floor. While it was fine for us, you need to be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs! As we arrived by train, it was a short 12 minute walk to the apartment. Very convenient. All attractions, shopping and eating out were within walking distance. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

Perfect location in Venice. Quiet but a short walk from the main attractions. The apartment is certainly clean and has plenty of room. It is a loft apartment with high ceilings but low beams so if you’re over 175cm you may need to duck for the bedroom door. My husband is 180 and it was fine as he was cautious. He loved this l place! The stairs are very challenging even for Venice, so if you have large luggage or are not able to carry your own then you should definitely use a porter service, which is readily available- just ask your marvellous host. We absolutely loved this apartment and we are looking forward to staying again. It may not suit everyone but those that can make the stairs will be rewarded with a beautiful and authentic Venetian experience!

We spent the first night of our recent trip to Europe at this apartment. The room was nice, clean, and conveniently located to both the train and bus station as well as major sites within Venice. We will certainly plan to stay here again when we return to Venice.

This apartment was so charming we really enjoyed staying here , the view from the balcony was awesome, we had everything we needed and more ,this apartment had so many useful things like electric transformer because mine broke , hairspray, fully functional kitchen so we can prep breakfast, I loved how everything was so close to the major attractions, I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Look no further for a place to stay in Venice! To begin, communication with Marco was great as he responded to all my inquiries right away which I really appreciated and check-in and check-out were a breeze. We actually arrived in Venice before check in time and Marco allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment so we could explore while the apartment was cleaned from the previous guests. This apartment is immaculate, has all amenities and in a central, yet quiet, location. We appreciated the extra touches - soaps, shampoos and lotions as well as the bottle of sparkling wine! We really loved staying here.

We loved this property. The location was not too far to walk to see things but away enough from night life that it was quiet when you wanted to go to bed. The property was clean and we appreciated the espresso maker and the bottle of Prosecco that was left for us. Would not recommend for very tall people because the beams are low if you’re over 6ft tall.

Wow! This was our first stop after a long flight from Denver to Venice and was a welcome respite while we adjusted to time and regrouped. The stairs are a bit steep and worked well with carry on bags, but might be a challenge for anything full sized. Worth the climb to stay in this 2 bedroom suite with a great bathroom, mini kitchen with washer and stocked with plates and all needed to make a quick meal or enjoy a cup of espresso. So nice to find prosecco waiting for us chilled in the refrigerator! Lovely, quieter corner of Venice with great restaurants nearby and cappuccino in the morning. Easy vaporetto ride and short walk from San Toma stop. A welcome step away from crazy crowds of St Mark's square- highly recommend. Note- the cute beams are low for anyone over 6 feet. This was the attic of an old building- great to stay, but may need to mind your head!

One thing to note is that the doorways are low as are the ceiling beams, so if you’re taller than 5’10” pay extra attention to the need to duck in the apartment. All in all, it was an excellent day, and we would definitely reserve again for a future visit to Venice!

Our host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The property was very clean and had everything you needed and a couple of nice extra touches. The kitchen was fully stocked, there was a combo washer/dryer as well as shampoo and body lotion. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there.
