The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. The gardens that they list are closed due to lack of upkeep, since they are closed they should not advertise that they have them as we were looking forward to morning strolls in the garden which was part of the reason we booked our stay there. We loved the historic nature of the place.

Room very clean, staff very helpful. Good location, with short walk into village, where there are plenty of eating options. Will return again.
