Moose Inn

My second time staying here and I really like the location and its proximity to silverwood. The town of spirit lake is really cute and friendly people. Two small things during this trip to mention but I was already reassured by manager that they would be fixed. The fridge had a leak and didn’t keep cold. We ended up buying ice from a local store and keeping our drinks cold in a cooler. Then the floors were very dirty, not from our doing. But maybe the maid forgot to mop I’m not sure. Our feet, socks and the towel we used to cleanup the leaking fridge were black after being on that floor. I love the shower, the Roku and being able to connect to Netflix for movies and shows that was nice I think more places should have smart tv or Rokus! I’m sure I’ll be back here the next time I attend silverwood theme park.

Nice clean little cabin with kitchenette and very comfortable bed. Close to restaurants and shopping in a quiet little town. Highly recommended!

The staff was great, very responsive and helpful. This is a very pet friendly location. I wish each cabin had their own pet waste area as the one available was a bit far from our cabin area. The only other thing we were not too exited about was the door between each cabin unit. I felt like it could easily be accessed and it just caused a bit of safety concern. The cabin unit had a nice walk in shower and overall cleanliness exceeded my expectation.

Nice little cabin style rooms. Really liked the mobile check in and lock box key system. Very convenient. Some nitpicks that didn’t bother me, but should be addressed are the mini fridge was leaking water, the blinds didn’t close as well as they should, and I didn’t get the exact kind of room I booked (I booked a King bed and was given a room with two doubles). None of these things really detracted from my stay, but they could provide some guests issues. Overall I was satisfied, especially as I received a large discount by working through Expedia. Nice town, and within east walking distance of a lovely coffee shop.

Staff checking us in (Brandy) was very friendly and we love that the place was per friendly with a dog potty and clean up area!!!

I loved that the rooms were two per building. That gives the guest more privacy, the soundproofing on the adjoined wall is genius. I do wish they offered ice on premises, however. Overall a 5 star stay.

No kitchen

Very clean. Kitchen area with coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Cottages are newly painted interior. A few things need maintenance but overall I would recommend it. Right on the main street, walkable to town. Restaurants are amazing. Everyone in Spirit Lake are very welcoming and make your stay delightful.

Parking is minimal. Rooms are spacious, clean, and lovely. All shopping is closed down at night so you can't buy anything after a certain time. We went to Scarywood on a Saturday and we were back by 11 and we had to turn around and go back to Athol to get food. Other then that, it was a comfy little place.

The Moose Inn was a great place to stay, the staff are kind and responsive. The room was stylish and very clean. The town of Spirit Lake was quaint, quiet and friendly.

Very cute and overall clean. All towels and sheets were stained. Clean but stained.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere at the cabins and they fit my needs perfectly. They were affordable and very close to our destination. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the inside of the cabin. My feet were black after walking from the front door to the bathroom, there was hair in the shower drain, and dust and hair around the bottom of the bed frame.

No duvet for the beds. No room cleaning for the multiple days we were there. Pillow felt like it was full of clumps of filler.

Everything was great but the only thing I could think that needs improvement is the floors were not very clean, my socks and feet got real dirty

There was an outlet cover broken by the bed, floor was dirty, no Kleenex, stain on one of the stools, was supposed to be handicap accessible, but there was no handrails in the shower, charged for cleaning the towels.

Cool little duplex cabins, parking right out front, check in was easy, and there was a couple of bars/restaurants within walking distance. However, the floor was so dirty it turned all of our socks/feet completely black. Easily a 5 star property if cleaned well.

I was traveling through the area and spent one night here. Nice family run place. Very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Clean room. Staff was super nice and friendly too.

Cute clean

We do this trip every year. Stayed here last year and it was great this year our room was very dirty. The shower was disgusting. I showered and dried off walked to the bed area to put on shoes my feet were so dirty from the floor I had to wash them off. Spilled some water on the floor wiped it off and the towel was pure black.

Hotel is very conveniently located for Silverwood! Bed was very comfortable, and having a roku tv where you can sign into your own services for the length of your stay was awesome. My only complaint is that I am light sensitive, and there is no darkening in the room (curtains, etc). There are blinds which do zero for keeping the light out. I will 100% stay here again, but will be bringing an eye mask for sure.

Okay room with refrigerator and microwave. Blinds did not keep the light out. Shower was nice size but drained partially into bathroom. TV did not work initially but was replaced the next evening. Restaurants only one block away.

The staff was amazing...very friendly and helpful. Our room was very tastefully decorated and clean. The location is perfect for being close to everything in Spirit Lake. Unfortunately you are tooooo close to the people adjacent to you. There is very little, if any , sound proofing or deadenjng between the units so you literally hear EVERYTHING your neighbor is doing. The first night was highlighted by hearing the next room over cough constantly, use the restroom multiple times, play vidoes on their phones at 3 AM and having a front row seat to all their conversations all night. We got zero sleep...we were hoping for a better night the next night, but were gifted with a new set of equally loud neighbors who were up all night and left their truck outside to idle their door from 2 AM on until past 7 AM with multiple trips in and out of their unit complete with loud talking, door slams and other fun noises....zero sleep on night two. Much of this is not the motel's fault. Maybe we just got rude people two nights in a row. Improving the sound insulation between units would go a long way towards improving the quality of the stay. Otherwise, it's a cute, clean safe little motel with great staff. Hope you get luckier than we did if you stay....

The room rate was high but there aren’t other options in Spirit Lake, Idaho. The room was very spacious and clean, and the shower was exceptionally large.

Room was simple but clean and comfortable. What wasn’t so good is the wall between two rooms was so thin we could hear neighboring room guests arguing most of the night!

Showers were clean & spacious. The Roku tv was horrible. Lucky for us we just turned it on for background noise for about an hour. The program would come on for 1-2 min then load for amity 1-2 min. This was continuous loop.

This is a great choice when visiting Silverwood. The price was so reasonable. It’s an easy 9 miles to Silverwood. The room we stayed in had some recent upgrades including a new mattress. So comfy!! Only issue we had was the incredibly noisy fan/AC unit. Would stay again!

The tv and internet was horrible. They have Roku tv now and the WiFi isn’t strong enough for the tv to work. The staff was amazing and very helpful!!

We were running little late and potentially weren't going to make it to the Inn by the time the lobby closed. I called and the person on duty was going to go through the process of signing documents via email but when she realized we were driving, said "I'll just wait until you get here." Great service. Made it much easier for us. I don't remember her name but this was on Friday Aug 18 at 8PM. I hope she gets credit for this.

Very clean room, good size, very comfortable bed. Only thing i was looking for in the room was a box of kleenex. Crystal , at the front desk, was very helpful with any questions we had.

Quiet area, great staff. Great value for money.

The room was amazing and super clean, customer service was so helpful and nice, we needed to check in late because of traffic and they rapidly responded and texted us the code. We cant wait to go back. Truly recommend them.

They canceled my reservation while i was headed to the place. Then sent me a review saying thanks for a stay i never had. Still havent got reimbursed. Suggest that if you are going this route to call and make sure they arent gonna do this to you.

1) The staff made me pull over on the side of the road and check in on a website. I have extra-large hands, spanning eight inches, and arthritis in my thumbs. I find it difficult to type on a cell phone. Therefore, I used my laptop on my cell\'s hotspot from a parking lot in my vehicle. Three attempts with the FireFox web browser hung or failed. I finally registered using Chrome. 40 minutes wasted. The website required PHOTOS of my credit card and drivers license. I did not see a privacy policy. I have had numerous trips in North America, Mexico, Brazil, and Europe. This was the most horrendous checkin I have ever experienced. The next day I had Teams meetings with Europe. The wi-fi was tested at 550 Kilo-bits per second. Luckily StarLink Portable saved the day. The office is only open from 3pm to 8pm. The "Kitchenette" does not have a cooking device. If a plug-in induction unit was added to the room, then the kitchenette would have an advantage over a regular hotel. The hotel seems to use a traditional geosynchronous internet satellite service, which explains the poor performance. If they upgraded to StarLink, they could get usable performance for about the same price. There are self-service kiosk checkin options that could be used instead of the website. I texted the hotel to delete me credit card and id information, and got no response. I am going to get a new credit card number as a result. I will not be staying here again.

I was traveling through the area and spent one night here. Nice family run place. Very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Clean room. Staff was super nice and friendly too.

The Moose Inn is hidden gem in North Idaho. The Motel has several cabins and the interiors are modern rustic, what you’d expect in Idaho. There are restaurants and coffee shops across street. The lake is just down the street and down the hill. If you need a place to stay in Spirit Lake, this is your place

Great location if you want to visit Coeur d’alane, Sandpont and Silverwood Amusement park. It’s 30-40 min to the main lakes but located at Spirit Lake which is a cute little community. The rooms were super cute and comfortable. Very quiet and off the beaten path. I would stay here again!

You are in walking distance to town and to the lake.

Employees have great local knowledge about the area and helped with finding food options that were fantastic. Quiet location in a quiet town. Easy walking distance to the downtown area of this town. quick access to road leading in/out of town. Close to Silverwood while being away from traffic.

Location is two blocks from grocery, gas, and restaurants. We ate at a great Mexican Restaurant while staying. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The only aspect of our stay that could have been improved would be that the pillows were thinner than I prefer. Overall, it was a great place to stay and for visiting Silverwood the location is excellent.
