We stayed in cabin 1 and were pleased with the size of the king bed and the room. The bath was well stocked with very nice towels also. I really enjoyed the pot of coffee that was left outside my door at 7:30 am before we headed to the restaurant for the delicious breakfast. All of the staff are amazing. They are so accommodating and are continually checking on your needs. We will be visiting again in the future.

We took our dog to get away from fireworks and this was the perfect place in the mountains. Walk to river to tube or wade. Two wonderful state parks nearby. Lots of hiking trails nearby as well and River House is a wonderful base for numerous outdoor activities. Just a wonderful place to relax. A five star place. Breakfast was wonderful and while we did not eat dinner. food smelled delicious. Nice small bar to get a great cocktail.
