We did not see the owner at all during the stay. The whole property is full of dust and hasn't been cleaned for a while. There is no breakfast option during weekends (even if paying extra), the kitchen common area is not maintained (trash full of garbage not emptied, milk expired for 2 months in the fridge). It's like if the owner does not care much about the guests. It really felt dirty, unmaintained, and unmanaged. Other clients left after 1 night out of 3 without bothering claiming for refund as they were fed up. It is surprising looking at the past reviews - maybe this is a recent problem.

Very nice hotel, unique old building converted into accommodation. The owners were very welcoming. We asked for a meal in advance and they had one prepared for our arrival and the fire lit in the lounge

Un petit coin de paradis au calme et une chambre confortable et propre. Stéphane notre hôte nous fait sentir à l'aise et comme si nous étions chez nous. Sa bienveillance et sa gentillesse font avec le lieu si mignon un endroit où l’on se sent si bien. Merci d’avoir pris soin de nous et notamment de ma fille qui passait des oraux.On ne pouvait trouver mieux
