The hotel has average rooms and facilities, beach facing rooms which is plus. Rest its seemed like a motel/inn with renovated bathrooms. The pool is 5 mins walking, part of another property and they say its heated but we didn’t find it warm at all. Very average stay overall.

Loved everything about our stay! The check in/out was quick and easy, front staff friendly and helpful, loved the attached store for all things beach related, our room was spotless (loved the shower), and the balcony was equipped with chairs and sun loungers if you didn’t want to go on the beach. How can you complain with a room that looks directly out onto the ocean??? Nice little restaurant on site for a quick breakfast before starting our day. My mother and I loved it so much we reserved four rooms for October for our annual family weekend. Can’t say enough nice things about The Norseman. We loved it!!

The restaraunt also closes early if you're looking for a hotel with dinner thats something to consider too. The front desk handed us a pass for our car and said "just put this on the dash and you should be fine" and we parked in the piblie parking across the street, during summer this lot is probably full. It is a shortwalk to all the shops which is nice.

Beautiful location and the Sundowner room had a lovely view. I wish it had been clear when I booked that their restaurant/bar is only seasonal and would be closed during my stay. Otherwise wonderful.

Great stay! Room was clean and comfortable. A mirror outside the bathroom and privacy screens on balconies between rooms would have been primo! Parking was tough. We found a spot each night but the lot is rough. To be so close to the beach made the stay top notch. Daily housekeeping made it feel like a true get away and staff in the office was very nice!

Rooms are fantastic with wonderful decor and amenities. The lobby is very beautiful comfortable and scandanavian modern. Don’t always judge a book by its cover. The outside looks a bit rough. We had the best breakfast ever at their restaurant (try the huckleberry blueberry pancakes!). Thank you!

Loved the pool and jacuzzi at the neighboring sister resort. Kayaking up the creek was amazing. Beach was spotless. Walking distance to most restaurants and shops. Love it here!

Fourth time staying at the property. We were disappointed with this stay because the floor was not clean of dirt, hairs and beach sand throughout. Had not experienced this in our past stays. Also, water ran continuously if you forgot to adjust the toilet handle after each use; the heat/AC unit was very loud and kicked on every twenty minutes or so. This meant a very disturbing sleep the first night. We ended up having to turn it off. As a six foot male I had to be careful not to hit my eyes on a clothes hook attached to the bathroom door. Knocked my glasses off when standing up after using the toilet. Had we known there was a lot of construction going on, we would have chosen another place to stay. The best part of staying here is the location directly on the ocean and closeness to Ogunquit’s village. We love being able to walk this very long beach, which allows visitors to distance themselves from crowded areas. We are an older couple, so having to walk around the parameter of the building to get to the temporary office that is located in the small gift shop was very inconvenient.

We had a room 9n the first floor , and while the occupant in the room upstairs was likely not and elephant it sure sounded like it. In fairness to the hotel, like most ilder hotels in the area , the floors are creaky and sound proofing could be better. Location of the hotel is fantastic and youll likely not spend much time in your room . I would book again.

The room was beautiful. My only complaint is that the fireplace didn’t work right. We were able to light it once and then turned it off because it got too warm and weren’t able to relight it. Other than that, it was perfect.

Couldn't ask for a better view!!! Updated, staff was awesome! My only complaint, the first night , I might have slept 2hrs! We were in room 104 and it was very loud, beacuse someone on the second floor, I believe was a kid kept running back and forth, and it was maddening! The elevator and doors were too close to the front door of the room! Stay clear of 104

The room had a great space and an amazing view! The bathroom was a great size and my kids loved the tv in the shower! The shower pressure was fantastic and the beds were so comfortable! Great location, beachfront and easy walk to town!

Right on the beach. Nice room. Walk across the bridge to town for lots of shops and food options. Only complaint was the bright light outside that lit up the room no matter what I did.

Best location and only beachfront property in Ogunquit. Loved our 2nd floor room in The Dunes, nicely renovated and great views. Lisa at the front desk was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely stay again!

The hotel staff was AMAZING! We spent one night for our anniversary and when we mentioned it the staff stepped up! They allowed us to park in the lot early to use the beach and also had our room cleaned first thing so we could check in by 1! They were all so helpful and friendly and it was probably once of the easiest check ins ever!

I was missing clothing, I didn’t think anything of it, but when I saw my housekeeper, I asked her if she could keep an eye out for it as maybe it got mixed up with towels, even though it was clean, and I had it folded on the nightstand. She approached me later and told me that the laundry had seen it, but threw it out. I asked her why they would throw it out and she said because the laundry didn’t know where the lost and found was. I found this all suspicious so I contacted the manager. The manager looked into it and called me back and said that I misunderstood the housekeeper they never saw my things I said, I didn’t misunderstand the housekeeper I had a witness and she told me several times that they had thrown it out. So, basically, the manager called me a liar and told me to enjoy the rest of my trip. This was so offputting and I couldn’t believe it. I never would have contacted the manager if the housekeeper hadn’t came back to me to tell me they threw it out. Mind you it was something that was folded on the nightstand, and I knew there was no way that it would be mixed up with towels or sheets. After I told them this, they never came to clean my room or bring me towels. I wouldn’t expect anything to be missing. Very disappointed in the management not doing anything or even trying to offer a resolution. They simply said enjoy the rest of your trip.

The hotel was clean and updated. We stayed in the Beach street units. Bathroom and the shower are outstanding. The staff was very helpful. Eric is the best goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Eazy walk to all the main St restaurants.
The hotel was clean and updated. We stayed in the Beach street units. Bathroom and the shower are outstanding. The staff was very helpful. Eric is the best goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Eazy walk to all the main St restaurants.

Loved everything about our stay! The check in/out was quick and easy, front staff friendly and helpful, loved the attached store for all things beach related, our room was spotless (loved the shower), and the balcony was equipped with chairs and sun loungers if you didn’t want to go on the beach. How can you complain with a room that looks directly out onto the ocean??? Nice little restaurant on site for a quick breakfast before starting our day. My mother and I loved it so much we reserved four rooms for October for our annual family weekend. Can’t say enough nice things about The Norseman. We loved it!!

Room was clean, small bathroom and theres no elevator if you havw a lot of luggage and children. The restaraunt also closes early if you're looking for a hotel with dinner thats something to consider too. The front desk handed us a pass for our car and said "just put this on the dash and you should be fine" and we parked in the piblie parking across the street, during summer this lot is probably full. It is a shortwalk to all the shops which is nice.

From the beautiful drive been over the bridge, to the great front desk, staff, easy parking, comfortable bed, quiet room, and oh… Did I mention the view? Breathtaking! It was a great low/moderately priced getaway. With the conveniences of a Keurig, microwave and cold fridge, made the stay extra easy. I’d also like to note that the safe with easy to use and on the larger side, so quite convenient. There’s also an elevator and accessible rooms on the second floor. That was so nice to see! We found the bed and bedding to be quite comfortable. Splash, the restaurant downstairs is a beautifully priced, put out some great food and entertainment. Great for families! It has a deck right over the sand. We will definitely be back!

Location was perfect, the beach is right across the resort and everything was in walking distance including some great restaurants. The AC units in the room need to be replaced, they are so old and noisy and we couldn’t sleep all night due to the noise. We just turned the AC off eventually. Everything else was v good.

Rooms are fantastic with wonderful decor and amenities. The lobby is very beautiful comfortable and scandanavian modern. Don’t always judge a book by its cover. The outside looks a bit rough. We had the best breakfast ever at their restaurant (try the huckleberry blueberry pancakes!). Thank you!

Location great. Room clean. Cleaning staff very pleasant. Staff in the store very unprofessional. Didn’t acknowledge when we were standing at the counter. Eating instead. Happened more than once. Bed was very lumpy. Room 202. Splash restaurant very good and friendly. This was our first visit. Will go back. Now we know we need to bring our own beach chairs and beach towels. Chairs are available for a hefty price to rent.
