We particularly liked Patsy's friendliness and attention to detail. The house was warm and comfortable. We cooked for ourselves and there was plenty of equipment and space. There's a washing machine and dryer if you need one, but the outside line is available. It was quiet, near a shop and bus route. Patsy kindly let us charge our electric car from the house overnight, for which we paid her. Highly recommend this accommodation. Maybe a bit more cutlery.

We spent a week in Spiddal Cottage. The location suited us very well, it is half an hour from Galway with and on the doorstep of all Connemara has to offer. It is walking distance to the village. The house is spotless with a very well equipped kitchen. Patsy , the owner, was very welcoming with milk in the fridge so that we could have a cuppa when we arrived and a generous fruit bowl to keep us healthy during our stay. I would recommend.

The location of this property was ideal from quick access to Galway to the very good restaurants and pubs within a 10 min walk. The property is on the smaller size, perfect for my wife and I, but would also be ok with adding 2 children. Yvonne was fantastic! We would definitely recommend!

Compact cottage, clean and comfortable although a little dated and Patsy our host was very welcoming and helpful. You would need a car if visiting Galway as 30 mins away but well worth it as the journey very picturesque and Galway a fabulous city. Spiddal is a lovely village and the craft village well worth a visit.
