Nice pub in a nice village. Clean and comfortable with friendly staff but felt it was a bit basic particularly in view of the price. Room needed a little TLC and a breakfast option would have been appreciated.

Beautiful classic Georgian country Pub. Big comfortable room with a huge bathroom. The bed was also big and comfortable. We didn’t eat at the pub so cannot comment on that, but the village has several nice places to eat.

The pub was lovely and the staff were extremely welcoming. The room was clean and well maintained! Would definitely stay there again!

Sarah & her staff do an excellent job running The George Inn at Tideswell, near Buxton. It's a great pub/hotel in one of the best villages in The Peak District. Highly recommended 👍
