Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa

Our second time staying here and we had a fantastic time. Just 3 items we hope can be improved upon when we return. 1. The fitness center is too small and has minimal equipment. Unless it was 6 am it was too crowded to get even a basic workout in. 2. The pool chair situation was at times frustrating. Even getting down to the pool at 9:30 am we were greeted by all the chairs being "marked" and "saved" with towels and/or small personal items such as a book or shoes. Guest would apparently come down quite early and put the items on the chairs to "save" them until later (which we observed sometimes being several hours.. We had to go to the front desk to have someone come to remove these items since we were told the chairs are first come first serve (which they were very helpful with). However, it would be nice to have one of the staff monitoring this situation so that we don't have to continually go ask down at the front desk and also to prevent the awkward confrontation that will come with removing someone's items from a chair that they thought was theirs. 3. A small microwave in the room would be a nice addition. We would often bring leftovers from the restaurant (which was delicious by the way) back to the room but had no way to heat them up the next day.

We all loved Hutchinson Resort & Spa. Great restaurant and bar on-site, easy ocean access, and two pools. Great time had by all.

Nice w/ great amenities & super nice staff! Anything you need is only a text away. The staff took such great care of us. Loved the fresh baked cookies that were put out every afternoon- soooo good & quite addictive 😋 The property is in a great location & is nice & quiet & very close to the water so you can listen to the waves crashing w/ the patio door open. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Great location right on the beach. Beach service included chairs and towels. They also had food service on the beach. Both pools were great!

We have stayed here several times and each visit is excellent. The staff are wonderful. Our room is spacious and always clean. We opt for the ocean front with balcony which we love. After about noon time you are in the shade overlooking the water for the rest of the day. Beach walking is excellent as the area to the south has few buildings and no crowds. It’s title season now so it’s fun to see the tracks and nesting going on. 2 Lovely pools, bars areas, love the free ice and bottled water, fresh cookies each afternoon and coffee from 6-8 am. Can’t wait to go back in August!!

Beautiful resort! Very clean. Staff was friendly. It was right on the beach. They provide 2 beach chairs. Complimentary bike rental as well. Can’t wait to plan my next trip here!!

Loved the spa! I am pregnant and they gave me the best experience! I felt beautiful after my services & the room service was so nice and convenient! Everything was beautiful :) and the beach chair guys were the best!

Property was great, staff was incredible. My only wish was the the fitness center was bigger. We are looking forward to returning soon

Everything was great! The service stood out to me above everything and everything was so nice, so that is saying a lot about the service. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfy, the views were amazing, the pool was refreshing, the food and drinks were great! Oh and the bags of ice in the hallway were so convenient.

Nice pool area, direct access to beach, had a nice spa treatment, restaurant on property was very good.

When I first arrived, the valet opened the door to my car and I got out, then he asked me to move the car forward… after I had already gotten out of the car when he opened the door. Why not ask me instead of opening the door and waiting until I got out of the car? The hotel looks nice, and common areas are, but the two rooms I ended up staying in were not worthy of the price. The location is great, but one of the most significant parts of your stay isn’t the common areas, it’s the room. We had oceanfront rooms, which are easily part of their top tier rooms. The first room I was in was just dirty, which I didn’t notice until around 10 PM since I was mostly in the common areas such as the pools. The area around the toilet was not clean, toilet had water stains which don’t just happen, it’s from continued lack of cleaning, and the handle on the toilet was broken. There were tons of marks on the walls and dust. This was something I was going to bring up the next morning so housekeeping could clean the room better… but that was before a bug jumped out of the blue curtains on the closet area onto me. That was the end. I called the front desk and was told it was probably a palmetto bug. Nobody cares. I’ve lived in South Florida for years without one in my house. The front desk was apologetic. They moved us to another room, which had stuff wrong with it as well. A massive crack in the ceiling with paint flakes falling into bed. Dust on the vanity, it just wasn’t clean.

The hotel was fabulous. Very clean and the staff was great. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Very nice place, beautiful rooms, clean and new. Very well kept

Loved the pool at night, and the ability to take a stall on the beach in the morning. The room was nice, but had not been mopped well and the bathroom had some spots. The bathroom door had no lock and no exhaust fan. Rastaurant food was ok but sitting outside was a mistake as the table was dirty and water was served in plastic cups.

Hutchison Shores Resort is an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The resort itself is stunning, with beautifully landscaped grounds and breathtaking ocean views. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The amenities are top-notch, from the luxurious pool area to the delicious onsite restaurant. I can't wait to return to Hutchison Shores Resort for another unforgettable vacation!

Property is very nice and clean. Both pools and hot tub are open 24 hours which is a plus. Food is great. The staff is friendly minus two of the main pool bartenders who were a bit rude and double charged my friend and I on our first day (the rest of the bartenders the rest of my stay were great!) valet is fast. Rooms are good and ac is cold. However we did have a cockroach in our room the last night but we were on a low floor on the beach side and used the balcony so I won’t hold that against the hotel and will be back again!

This resort is immaculate! I loved everything about it. The staff were super friendly and the views are amazing!

Our stay was very nice . We got to see a turtle hatching make it out to sea. Do not get a room by the elevator , very noisy

It's a beautiful property and everything is centralized for you right on-site. Two nice pools, a nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and great views of the beach, and very nice, modern rooms with comfortable beds. Splurge for the oceanfront room, you won't be disappointed!

Stayed in handicapped room for my mom but we had no closet & no hooks to hang anything.

We had a great time at the property. Staff went above and beyond to help us when needed. The property is like new and maintained properly. The oceanfront view was great. The only issue was quality of mattress. It was so hard, we got back pain. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Great location and price for ocean front rooms. Clean property. Great food. Only downsides: 1) no complimentary morning coffee in the restaurant or front desk area and 2) expense food and beverage prices. Dinner and drinks for two easily costs $200.

Resort is very nice and well taken care of! Got upgraded to ocean view room unexpectedly which was awesome! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beach was great! There were 2 pools, bigger one was much smaller than what the pictures made it seem. Although a family resort, felt more like a couples resort, we got weird eyes the whole time as our kids played in the pool. My only actual complaint was the last night we were there, there was a wedding and a sweet 16 party. 3:00am-4:00 had grown men screaming in their rooms and the 16 year old group running up and down the halls banging on the walls. Called front desk and all I got was “yeah there was a wedding”. Overall: hotel was great. Clean, friendly/helpful staff - free cookies everyday at 5:00 were SO good. Complaints were small pool (more of a couple resort vibe) and not controlling or caring about obnoxious behavior in the wee hours of the morning.

The resort is beautiful and clearly kept well maintained. The rooms looked newly remodeled and modern. Each floor has refreshments available, such as water bottles and cookies at night. Staff are helpful and friendly.

The view and the room was very nice..for the price though there is no fridge or microwave to heat up food which forces you to either order from there restaurant or buy food Everytime you are hungry .. also a little dusty, allergies where acting up .otherwise beautiful place

Ocean front rooms with beautiful Atlantic views, loved the nautical inspired room decors, clean & updated rooms, comfortable beds, nice pool & hot tub open 24 hrs, friendly atmosphere, good food at the restaurant, nice beach front, very dog friendly. Complementary water bottles, attentive & helpful staff. We had a very pleasant stay. Would recommend anyone visiting Jensen beach area.

This is my favorite hotel ever. It’s beautiful and well maintained. The beds aren’t great. They’re hard. Also the hot tub is super hot. Besides that though, it’s perfect.

We found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff! My son left his gold chain in the room, and they were able to retrieve and ship his necklace back to him.

Arrived at 4:30 pm and the room wasn’t ready. Front desk agents weren’t helpful enough.

We really like the Hutchinson Shores Resort, so it was pretty disappointing that we didn't have the best experience on this trip. It all started when we checked in and were told that there was an issue with the room we booked (king oceanview) and they didn't have anymore king oceanview rooms to give us. So, they were "upgrading" us to an "executive suite." The issue with this was that it was not an oceanview room. This trip was for my birthday and we specifically booked the oceanview room for a reason, so I wasn't very happy. They threw in a couple of free breakfast and drink coupons to try to make it right, so I will give them that, but the "suite" we had didn't have the best layout and there was hardly room for our 2 small suitcases and a catch all bag. It did have a nice, big balcony with a partial ocean view, so it was nice enough. We had an issue with the valet parking in that wherever they parked our car, something sticky and difficult to remove got ALL OVER the vehicle. We asked what it could be (maybe sap?), but nobody gave us an answer They just took a report. That was it...no follow up...nothing. Upon checkout, there was a 30 minute discussion about actually removing the breakfast charges from when we used the coupons THEY GAVE US because of the room situation. They eventually took care of it, but the front desk clerk had an attitude about it and told us to go up to the restaurant to deal with it. This is a beautiful property, but this was not the best stay.

Very poor customer service. Lots of added resort fees valet parking tips. We were a couple who was part of a much larger group. The hotel is beautiful the wait staff lovely but management on all levels were rude and unapproachable. I will not return.

Service for being the 31st was absolutely horrible. Compellty shoet staffed and just to order a kids pizza they told me to come back in 30 minutes. Extremely rude If you ask them if you can do an hour or more late checkout. Stay away from this place unless you’re a royal family and they might treat you better cause you have money. Wanted to start 2025 on a positive note , but I couldn’t leave the hotel without giving our honest opinion.

The staff at this property went above and beyond! Every single staff member was helpful and kind. We were greeted with smiles daily ! The food on site was also very good .

Very clean, modern and comfortable hotel right on the ocean with great amenities. Good food on the property and in surrounding areas. Will stay here again.

Well worth the money. We extended our stay. Everything you could ever need is a stone throw or phone call away. If you do leave the resort, the town is friendly and full of fun stuff to do. Highly recommend Conchy Joes on reggae night, Benihanna's zen garden and Luna's in downtown Stuart on riverwalk for the best italian.

This hotel is a quiet stay in luxury. We stayed here for three nights while going to Port Saint Lucie to see the Mets play at Spring Training 2025. I thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant food, the ambiance, and the beach is an amazing walking adventure if you choose to venture out. I recommend this hotel, and the food and the bar. Happy Hour is packed with patrons. The Mets won! What could be better?

I like the ocean right there. I didn't like that there wasn't close parking.

Staff was welcoming and friendly. Hotel room was great and a gorgeous view. Restaurant on site was good and not too expensive. The pool was heated, prob till about 6pm. There was staff at the beach for chairs and to keep it clean. Great stay all around.

Nice hotel for family vacation. Right on the beach and is newer and clean.

booked with a pet. on hotels .com does not state there is a pet fee of 100.00 per night. informed hotel this was not mentioned on website and they waived the fee. Unfortunately in the future I would not book here because the pet fee is excessive. if traveling with no pet i would book again. hotel had 2 pools , 3 bars and a restaurant. food was very good. service could have been better somewhat slow. hotel situated on beach. easy parking , very clean , upscale. not pretentious. friendly staff. there is a 40.00 /night resort fee. a little bit on high side. this is for water , pool towels and a petite muffin in morning and cookie at night. 40.00 a day can buy quite a bit of water and cookies. again this fee seems a too high. water should be included and a pool towel. very safe hotel. not many attractions close by but good if you want to spend time on beach.

The food was great, room was ok. Not a fan of barn door bathrooms (also missing a vent/fan). It was somewhat loud hearing other guests in the halls and above. Beach was nice but chairs were old with no cushion. Also charging 25 for an umbrella is a bit much… most staff were kind but some seemed disgruntled or something. Communication was pretty decent. Valet folks were nice but charging us more per day than a visitor was odd it should just be included… food at the drift was all great, the steak was awesome. Drinks were ok, bit small and not as strong for the price. Not sure why beach drinks were nearly double. Biggest issue was renting out the ocean pool to a private event while we pay for access to those areas…. I dont pay for others to reserve for private events. Was quite annoyed with that. The pantry of water and cookies was a huge plus. No need to bring water but we did not realizing that was available. Could have saved a trip for those. Decent stay but probably not returning. Just not a fan of the private events and business folks everywhere. Wanted a nice beach resort relaxing place vs that. But it was enjoyable for the most part. Cleaning staff were very nice. Towels not always fully clean though. Some had stains…

Loved our stay. Property is beautiful,the beach was so calming, and all the food was great. Minutes to downtown area for food and shopping. Restaurant on property was delicious! If you’re looking for a place to really relax this is where to go!

The property was very well maintained - particularly at the pool area. Dining at Drift was excellent.

Such a beautiful room and view! The bars are fun, the drinks are awesome! However my partner and I are allergic to dairy and animal proteins and the entire hotel could not accommodate, forcing us to leave the hotel in search for food in downtown Jensen. There are too many people on plant-based diets nowadays for there not to be any options outside of french fries.

I would have liked a microwave in my room. The free snacks were generous. Food at the Drift restaurant was excellent.

Comfortable hotel, clean, and great service. The breakfast service was not very good; it seemed like there were fewer staff than necessary, but I still recommend this hotel!
