We had a great stay at Rocky Point Resort. We stayed in a room that was exactly as advertised. It was perfect for the two of us. We were able to easily rent a canoe for an afternoon adventure in the marsh. It was an easy drive to Crater Lake National Park. The manager even found a personal item we had left behind and sent it home to us. We would definitely consider staying there again if our travels take us back!!! Highly recommend!

Very quiet. Really liked the property and the location. for those who aren't familiar, it really is a great RV park with a few single cabins and a few hotel rooms. We took a hotel room. Big issue is TV service. The restaurant only serves dinner from 5 to 8 pm. The food was very good and more than we two seniors could eat. Sat outside the restaurant for several hours enjoying the location. Would certainly stay again. The least liked feature, over 30 miles from town and restaurants.

This was the perfect spot to stay when we visited Crater Lake. We are already looking forward to coming back next year to explore more around here. We stayed in the hotel. They have five rooms. The resort also has individual cabins and campsites. Everything was clean. They do an excellent job of making it feel cozy. The camp store has snacks, some camping gear, fishing supplies, etc. for purchase at a reasonable price. They also have DVDs you can borrow for free which came in handy because two afternoons we were there it rained. The restaurant also has really quality food and has a beautiful view to look at while you eat. The guy who ran the store as well as the servers in the restaurant were all very friendly. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The only thing to note is the restaurant does seem to close early without notice. Our last night there, we wanted to eat a later dinner so we walked up at 7:30 but the door was locked even though the sign says they’re open every day 5-8pm. No big deal, I wouldn’t expect a place like this to stay open if no customers were there, but something to note if you’re planning on a later dinner because there’s no restaurants close by the resort.

The cabin was good and pretty clean. However either too hot or no heat. Loved the on site laundry and the restaurant was delicious. However the second night they decided to close the restaurant and there was absolutely nothing else closer than 45 minutes away. Luckily we had a few groceries and could eat dinner The view was picture perfect.

Really nice and helpful staff, comfortably rustic lodge environment, lovely sunsets, delicious dinner and great beer selection. Lovely <1 hour drive to Crater Lake NP and to Klamath Falls in the other direction.

Overall value is great. Room was decent but floor needed cleaning. Staff we interacted with were great but needed help. Probably couldn’t keep the current prices if more staff were hired so there is a trade off. Location is beautiful and food was really good at the restaurant with an amazing view. We are there both nights (Angela was terrific). We rented a boat but it really didn’t go very fast and the seaweed made me uncomfortable. We got stuck once and were lucky to get the motor going again. I would definitely stay here again as the price was awesome for what you get in return. Very short drive to Crater Lake and the surrounding areas.

I entered a room that was already occupied prior to my arrival, although I arrived hours after check-in. The bed was unkempt, the trash was full. All of the towels were used. No one bothered to clean the room before my arrival, I had to go next door to the laundry for fresh towels. Extremely poor service. The TV, heater, fan, refrigerator, shower, and lighting were okay, however the microwave didn’t work and there was a power outage on the property one of my nights there.

The view is great, especially sunrise over the lake, and camping with an RV is probably fine. But the condition of the cabin, at least the one we were in, was complete filth. The floor sloped towards the door, nothing had been cleaned or washed in months. The dishes, couch, and especially the floor were covered in thick drifts of dog hair and grime. Not worth the time or money to rent a cabin here.

There was an “ open” sign at office but no one was there to check us in.Walked up to restaurant onsite but no one could help. Had to call office and someone reluctantly came to check us in. Bathroom floor was not clean. Linen and towels were very good . Restaurant was also good with good service for our meal. Overall the resort is tired looking

There is no ac in the cabins. They had a small fan for you to use. There were numerous spiders in the corners but they won't bother you. Kind of hot until the middle of night. Shower is a one person. The bed was hard in my opinion and the pillows were flat.

Very nice being by the lake. Don't expect anything fancy though. I would call this a fishing camp, not a resort. Also, the "resort" should say prominently that the rooms are not air conditioned. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Little cabin style hotel with simple bathroom. No working TV which made for time to read and walk around the campground. No AC which luckily I didn’t need. I would definitely stay again for the quietness and serenity.

The information about the place is incomplete. I thought I booked a cabin however it was a room in the motel. The heater can't be regulated and it was either too hot or too cold in the room. The place is nice though with a beatiful lake view and lots if birds to watch. Breakfast is not included and we had to drive 20 miles to get anything to eat. Bring your own snacks.

The property is beautifully located on the water and the restaurant and staff were great. Most of the spots were for mobile trailers/homes with hookups. There also is a 5 room hotel closer to the entrance road away from the water which we stayed in. Parking was easy and available near our unit. Communication was good with door access code and map sent the day of our arrival by text. That being said a group of folks who stayed in the two rooms next to us ruined our stay by Bbqing and talking on the front porch in front of their rooms and ours well past 2am. Even after my wife asked them to quiet down they continued to make noise. While I believe this place is a nice place they need to enforce quiet hours which are listed as 10pm-7am with fines up to $500 for breaking the rules. No one from management responded to my text back on the room access code notification text chain. Again I think it’s a nice place but ask for quiet hour enforcement when you arrive.

Terrible customer service at a level I haven’t experienced in any other accommodation before. Poor communication from the start - checkin instructions were not sent until the night of check in after I got service and had to call multiple numbers myself to get in touch with someone, and only after attitude where I had to keep insisting that I never received an email. That was all fine but when we got there late at night, we found our room had not been cleaned from the previous guests at all. There was nobody on the property to help us. I tried a direct line for the property manager which got ignored multiple times. I also called more than one posted emergency number, all went to voicemail. What’s the point of having an emergency line if nobody picks up? We had to book another hotel at the last minute at 10 pm for that night and drive half an hour back the way we came from. Only got a text more than 2 hours later saying we can be moved to another room (too late). Then more gaslighting as if I exaggerated or lied about the situation when I clearly had photos of the rooms condition and time stamps for messages. Terrible customer service at a level I haven’t experienced in any other accommodation before. Poor communication from the start - checkin instructions were not sent until the night of check in after I got service and had to call multiple numbers myself to get in touch with someone, and only after attitude where I had to keep insisting that I never received an email. That was all fine but when we got there late at night, we found our room had not been cleaned from the previous guests at all. There was nobody on the property to help us. I tried a direct line for the property manager which got ignored multiple times. I also called more than one posted emergency number, all went to voicemail. What’s the point of having an emergency line if nobody picks up? We had to book another hotel at the last minute at 10 pm for that night and drive half an hour back the way we came from. Only got a text more than 2 hours later saying we can be moved to another room (too late). Then more gaslighting as if I exaggerated or lied about the situation when I clearly had photos of the rooms condition and time stamps for messages. had a change in plans called them about 2 weeks ahead of check in and no return call the day before check in called and spoke to a gentleman and told him couldnt make it and he said they couldnt refund our money but could change the date sent him the new dates never heard any thing back texted him a week later never heard back wont reccomend this place to anybody

We had a great stay at Rocky Point Resort. We stayed in a room that was exactly as advertised. It was perfect for the two of us. We were able to easily rent a canoe for an afternoon adventure in the marsh. It was an easy drive to Crater Lake National Park. The manager even found a personal item we had left behind and sent it home to us. We would definitely consider staying there again if our travels take us back!!! Highly recommend!

Our stay was very short as we arrived later than planned. I called to let them know. Danielle said the office will be closed when you are, just call this number when you get here and I'll come to the office and get you checked in. She checked us in and escorted us to our room. Went to our room to make sure we were able to open the door. The room was clean, beef was comfortable. We stumbled into this resort and so grateful we did. So beautiful at this resort. If you've never been and love fishing and the out doors. Make this a destination.

I arrived after hours to the cabin but the gentleman in charge was very communicative via text on how I can get access into the room after hours. The room itself was comfortable and clean with a king sized bed. It’s an older building it seems, but very well kept in my opinion. I arrived late and left early the next morning, so didn’t get a chance to explore much of the property, but it seems like a great place to stay for a family as well as they offer a lake experience with water activities. The location is off the beaten path and surrounded by woods, which makes it feel more natural and peaceful. Would highly recommend staying here and if I’m ever back in the area I will plan to stay again!

There was an “ open” sign at office but no one was there to check us in.Walked up to restaurant onsite but no one could help. Had to call office and someone reluctantly came to check us in. Bathroom floor was not clean. Linen and towels were very good . Restaurant was also good with good service for our meal. Overall the resort is tired looking

The property is beautifully located on the water and the restaurant and staff were great. Most of the spots were for mobile trailers/homes with hookups. There also is a 5 room hotel closer to the entrance road away from the water which we stayed in. Parking was easy and available near our unit. Communication was good with door access code and map sent the day of our arrival by text. That being said a group of folks who stayed in the two rooms next to us ruined our stay by Bbqing and talking on the front porch in front of their rooms and ours well past 2am. Even after my wife asked them to quiet down they continued to make noise. While I believe this place is a nice place they need to enforce quiet hours which are listed as 10pm-7am with fines up to $500 for breaking the rules. No one from management responded to my text back on the room access code notification text chain. Again I think it’s a nice place but ask for quiet hour enforcement when you arrive.

We stayed here as an base for a trip to Crater Lake. Though not the closest option (about 45 min to the South/Mazama Village entrance), we’re so, so happy to have stayed here. We stayed in one of the inn rooms- it was cozy and clean, the bed was super comfortable, there was a porch area to sit out on, and a restaurant on site open til 8 with amazing views for the sunset. After a long day of hiking, we were able to come back here to see the Milky Way over the lake and it was just the nicest place to come back to. Checkin was convenient and easy and it was so quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely stay again.

As a camping place or a place to park an RV this was probably OK but as a hotel room it was not great. Almost no dining options for miles around so one has to pretty much carry one’s own food. Water was not safe for drinking so one has to carry one’s own drinking water. Lots and lots of huge mosquitoes so one cannot leave the door open even for a few seconds in case they get in and trouble you all night.

This was the perfect spot to stay when we visited Crater Lake. We are already looking forward to coming back next year to explore more around here. We stayed in the hotel. They have five rooms. The resort also has individual cabins and campsites. Everything was clean. They do an excellent job of making it feel cozy. The camp store has snacks, some camping gear, fishing supplies, etc. for purchase at a reasonable price. They also have DVDs you can borrow for free which came in handy because two afternoons we were there it rained. The restaurant also has really quality food and has a beautiful view to look at while you eat. The guy who ran the store as well as the servers in the restaurant were all very friendly. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The only thing to note is the restaurant does seem to close early without notice. Our last night there, we wanted to eat a later dinner so we walked up at 7:30 but the door was locked even though the sign says they’re open every day 5-8pm. No big deal, I wouldn’t expect a place like this to stay open if no customers were there, but something to note if you’re planning on a later dinner because there’s no restaurants close by the resort.

Great stay at Rocky Point Resort, my dog and I stayed in one of the cabins which was cozy but plenty of space for the two of us! A/C came in handy when I wanted to explore Crater Lake and dogs aren’t permitted along the trails there. I knew he was safe and cool at the cabin. The restaurant was very convenient and really delicious!

The cabin was good and pretty clean. However either too hot or no heat. Loved the on site laundry and the restaurant was delicious. However the second night they decided to close the restaurant and there was absolutely nothing else closer than 45 minutes away. Luckily we had a few groceries and could eat dinner The view was picture perfect.

There are few choices in less than one hour driving to Crater Lake NP from South entrance (north is closed). For one night stay, it is good enough. The room is small and simple but quiet and comfy. There is a refrigerator but no ac and hair dryer. Store/gas is 3-mile away. Restaurant is on-side.

Rocky Point Resort is one of those places where you either understand the magnificence of the location and its uniqueness, and the extraordinary opportunities to view and commune with wildlife…..or you just don’t get it. I stay in one of the 6 hotel rooms when I am here, and right outside my window are 8-9 old growth Ponderosa Pines and Hemlocks. Just beyond those is the lake where so many varieties of birds call home. River otters swim there in the early mornings. Canoes come and go through the Canoe Trail. Paddle boats, kayaks, rowboats….It is so quiet that you wonder if such quiet is possible. The RV owners and campers are so very respectful and experienced. The deck around the restaurant has 180 views of the lake and a few snow capped peaks (as of late June). So many happy kids! If there are any problems, I just don’t see them. There is no TV. There is no cable. This is a joy and adds to the silence and relaxation. There IS WIFI….. Remember you are booking a stay in a rustic setting that is for outdoors people. This is not an International Destination with Michelin stars. It is a step back in time to a wonderful life, pre social media and with a vibe like you see in 1900 photos with happy campers. Not a single leaf blower, no play-list blaring, just the sound of wind in the Aspens and birds.

The information about the place is incomplete. I thought I booked a cabin however it was a room in the motel. The heater can't be regulated and it was either too hot or too cold in the room. The place is nice though with a beatiful lake view and lots if birds to watch. Breakfast is not included and we had to drive 20 miles to get anything to eat. Bring your own snacks.

Very quiet. Really liked the property and the location. for those who aren't familiar, it really is a great RV park with a few single cabins and a few hotel rooms. We took a hotel room. Big issue is TV service. The restaurant only serves dinner from 5 to 8 pm. The food was very good and more than we two seniors could eat. Sat outside the restaurant for several hours enjoying the location. Would certainly stay again. The least liked feature, over 30 miles from town and restaurants.

The cabin wasn’t very clean. The floor was dirty under the furniture and the tub/shower area wasn’t clean because the tub drains poorly. The cabin needs an update or some attention paid to fixing things inside the cabin. The highlight was that the food in the restaurant was good but the service was slow.

The cabin was cozy but no TV The restaurant food was cold with no flavor and waitress didn't care about how our meal was ! Had to get our own salt and pepper and extra napkins ! In other words poor service ! Room manager wouldn't let us in at 2:00 said they were still cleaning room but nobody was around any of the 4 cabins we were going to stay in! There were shorts in the electric in bathroom the receptable wasn't working !

I was staying while visiting Crater Lake. Property is somehow hidden and in an hour drive from the National Park, and better suits for local activities. (I was booking last minute.) Bed was satisfactory, but linens smelled intensely of some perfumed detergent - if it's important for your allergies, try to find another place. You can sit on a porch and look at office plus local lake - not a bad view.

It’s glamping type of room. The digital keypad did not work for me and I had to wait up get the room open. Waited a while for someone to arrive especially after a long journey. Had a critter in my room and mosquitoes.Walls are thin and you can hear everything. Not sure if I would come back.

The pictures on the website aren't even CLOSE to what the property and room looked like. The communication with the host was horrible, and they ended up charging us for a second room that we tried to cancel 7 days prior... and then we ended up having to pay for the room that we wouldn't think of staying in under the actual conditions of the property and the room. We were disgusted, both by what was there, and by the unwillingness of the owner to make it right. We ended up having to book another room in Klamath Falls and drive there to get a decent, clean place to spend the night. DO NOT GO BY THE PICTURES POSTED! This may work for someone who has their own RV... or is desperate and just needs shelter for the night.
The pictures on the website aren't even CLOSE to what the property and room looked like. The communication with the host was horrible, and they ended up charging us for a second room that we tried to cancel 7 days prior... and then we ended up having to pay for the room that we wouldn't think of staying in under the actual conditions of the property and the room. We were disgusted, both by what was there, and by the unwillingness of the owner to make it right. We ended up having to book another room in Klamath Falls and drive there to get a decent, clean place to spend the night. DO NOT GO BY THE PICTURES POSTED! This may work for someone who has their own RV... or is desperate and just needs shelter for the night.
