A lovely old building beautifully appointed. Comfortable bed and good shower. The rooms have their own bathroom but it is across the hall from the room. Being an old building it is not suitable for people with mobility issues - lots of stairs. The cafe downstairs is open every day and food and coffee is good. Staff are friendly.

Beautifully decorated rooms with a very handy location. Parking on premises. Was surprised on arrival only 1 room had an ensuite bathroom. The other had a bathroom across the hall. I feel this should be mentioned in the listing. However, we loved our stay. The staff were lovely. Cafe downstairs had the best coffee take a walk through the town….it’s delightful. 5 stars!!

Beautifully preserved building, a lot of attention to detail in the rooms and with cleaning which is faultless and not something I come across even in 5 star hotels. It just is so relaxing and the cafe garden is gorgeous.

For the price, a bathroom across the hall and no cleaning is not ideal. Our room wasn’t touched on the second day and we washed our own cups and glasses to reuse. “Complimentary” coffee/tea facilities in the room were lesser than a motel. A B&B by definition is a bed and breakfast. Meaning, breakfast is included. Not a $20 voucher per person towards breakfast. The cost of the menu did not allow a simple meal and coffee to be covered by the voucher. Nice enough room but not worth the money. Pleasant staff.

Lovely large room with ensuite. We arrived around 4.30pm which was right on closing time. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Convenient for an overnight stay. Dining options are limited in the area. Our stay included breakfast but the menu is limited. I read you can order a meal from the dining options but you need to give a few hours notice and it’s left in the fridge in the dining room.

The room we had was so beautiful. Although the bathroom was across the hall, it was only ours. Very private and secure for our own toiletries. We could not believe how comfortable and safe we felt in our first B&B experience. The inclusive breakfast was amazing. Choice on private menu and the coffee was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful! The Old Bank has been restored to the highest standard and was extremely comfortable. The food downstairs is phenomenally good, in fact the food and shopping in Cygnet is all top class, we were beyond impressed.

The Old Bank hotel is along the Highway towards Huonville. Quite easy to find. It is part of the cafe and a arts and craft shop. The room we stayed in is compact yet pleasantly decorated and fully stocked with essential amenities. Certainly worth staying there again if opportunities arise.
