Beautiful boutique hotel right in the heart of Comporta Village. Stylish decor, delicious and varied breakfast beautiful pool, rooms, lobby and rooftop bar. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Special mention to Sylvia who took the time to take me up to the rooftop to show me Comporta and its history and points of interest. Will definitely return here

Great hotel - staff were excellent and the facilities were extremely clean and enjoyable. Just loved it - perhaps the only thing is the bathrooms are beautiful but the flooring could be quite slippery and eliminating the small plastic bottles for toiletries would also be great.

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. My only concern—though it wasn’t really a problem—was the size of the room compared to the price. I don’t feel it was worth the cost, but other than that, the place is amazing. I booked the ‘solo room’ (not sure what it was called) with a twin bed.

Das zimmer war mit 17 quadratmeter ausgeschrieben. Leider waren dies nicht wirklich 17 quadratmeter wir konnten keinen der beiden Koffer richtig öffnen und es gab nur einen kleine Stange wo man die Kleidung aufhängen konnte. Für kurze Urlaube mit kleinem Koffer sicherlich geeignet.

The most expensive hotel we stayed in during our 10 day trip to Portugal and Spain and it was sub par and not outstanding. Were informed at check in that we were “upgraded” and then given a room on the busy, noisy road near the loud pool, with a large hedge blocking any view. Disappointed there were no electrical adapters available and told they were already given to other guests. Lunch at Alo was the highlight of our stay

The hotel was very nice, large rooms, all of the amenities. The staff however, while friendly and aiming to please, were not well trained. The majority seemed very young and inexperienced. When I voiced my concerns with the front desk, they went out of their way to make up for the short-comings.

I do not like to write bad reviews. I do feel in this case I needed to warn others as I fell for the 9.6-star review trap. This 4-star hotel charging 5-star hotel prices at the very best is a 3-star hotel. It is located by a noisy highway, the beach is nowhere near and I did not see an adjacent golf course. There was nothing to do in the town. Couldn't keep our window open as the stench coming from outside was unbearable at times also due to all the cars driving by (you could even identify the music they played). The worst though was the shower. I'm not exaggerating, I am 169cm and 54kg and could hardly extend my arms without hitting the walls of the shower to wash my hair. The water would leak through the door which kept on opening and flood all bathroom. Pool is tiny. I was surprised by all these wonderful reviews and fell for them. But if these people paid anywhere between $100 and $200, I can see that they could find it wonderful since it was new. But if you'll be paying more than $200 I highly recommend looking for better options.
