Casa Decu was amazing. Friendly and helpful staff that made us feel safe, secure, and welcome. They answered all of my questions. The shower was amazing and even though the property didn’t have air conditioning, they provided an amazing tower fan and space heater. The bed was so comfy and the housekeeping was so thorough it felt like a brand new hotel room every day. The rooftop continental breakfast and fancy coffee maker was always something to look forward to start my day with. Would love to go back to this hotel and recommend it to everyone interested. What a treasure at an incredible price

Great little boutique place. The roof terrace for breakfast is especially nice, and the front door & desk staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The free bike loan was great too.

This hotel was so great! Super walkable area. There were restaurants, cafes, boutiques, grocery/convenience stores just steps away. The free continental breakfast was super delicious and included coffee, tea, fresh orange or hibiscus juice, yogurt, granola, toast etc. The rooftop patio (where you could also get breakfast) was super cute with lots of seating options. The staff was really friendly and helped with bags and any questions you might have. One thing to keep in mind is there is no elevator at this property so you will have to take stairs up to the rooftop for breakfast or to your room if you're not on the ground floor. But we knew that when we booked so it was no problem :) Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at Casa Decu. The staff was always courteous and the door is monitored 24/7. The property is in Condesa, very walkable with lots of parks and plenty of dining options. And if you are a dog lover - they are everywhere in the Condesa neighborhood.

super cute hotel right in the middle of everything, we loved the roof deck. It is good to know that they do not have AC/Heat but provide fans and a small heater. Windows open are a must, but do note it can get loud. There is also no elevator. That said, the stay was great, it was clean, and having breakfast on the roof every morning was lovely. Would stay again!

Case Decu was a great fit for us. We used our little mini fridge to store cocktail fixings for enjoying on the sunny rooftop where the lovely complimentary cold buffet breakfast is served. We had cooked breakfast one day; very good and reasonably priced. Staff are all delightful. Our room was spacious and very quiet with a sitting area separated by a sliding door. Lots of hot water with excellent pressure in the shower. We walked everywhere from here or took the bus or metro which are only a couple of blocks away. Great plus was taking out the bikes on Sunday to ride Reforma from end to end. Lots of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops within walking distance. Lots of nearby green space. The only downside would be for guests who can't go up and down stairs as there is no elevator. We would come back here in a heartbeat.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very close to restaurants and a lovely park with all kinds of activities going on throughout the day and evenings.. Quite noisy outside though throughout the day and evenings, even with windows closed. The bathroom shower and floor tiles really need a good clean, grout was quite dirty. Could use more soap bars, used, the same little one throughout a one week stay, never replaced...No fans either and was reluctant to leave windows open. A mildew smell was quite evident at times. Had to ring a buzzer every time we came back and wait for a doorman to open every time.

The bed was horribly uncomfortable— completely hard and we both slept terribly. Our room got no natural light and felt like a dungeon. And the overhead lighting throughout the room was also terrible— so bad it was hard to do makeup. Housekeeping threw away half a very good bottle of wine that we had corked to enjoy the next day and the hotel replaced it with a bottle that was not drinkable. Towels were frayed. Hot water was inconsistent in the shower (some mornings it didn’t get hot). Amenities were completely barebones.

Nuestra experiencia en Casa Decu fue excelente, el personal es super atento, el hotel es sumamente limpio, el desayuno delicioso. Para muchos es inconveniente la falta del elevador, o que no haya aire acondicionado, constan de abanicos y calentadores portátiles. Nosotros visitamos en diciembre el clima estaba excelente. Volveremos a Casa Decu en nuestra próxima visita a Ciudad de México.

Lovely neighborhood, building is beautiful, very helpful staff. Suite was the perfect size! Just a note for those who are probably looking for a little more - no elevator, no central air (portable fan provided), linens were a little worn/thin, some mold in the shower tiles but otherwise very clean - just could use some updating!

The front desk staff are exceptionally sweet and kind. The room was spotless and a good size. It's a nice hotel in a great neighborhood convenient to many restaurants and cafes. However, there is no elevator and the spiral staircases are narrow and need to be used to get to the rooftop for amenities. If you have mobility issues, navigating this hotel can be challenging.

Wonderful location. Nice, responsive staff. Nicely appointed, modern rooms (living area + bedroom). No A/C, no overhead fan but one floor fan. City air was polluted, so no way to escape. No elevator for 5 story hotel. Would stay here again.

The rooms were odd-shaped (big kitchen-dining area with no natural light), they had a stark/sterile-feeling (very few decorations or art), and very poorly lit. There was inadequate natural light, as well. We were placed in an extremely dark ground floor unit on the first night, which for $200/night, was unacceptable.

Property and staff were great. Challenge was lack of hvac system, meaning we had to keep windows open for air circulation but there were noisy guests making it difficult to sleep well on some nights.

Casa Decu is located on a leafy, quiet street in Condesa. I booked a duplex suite which was beautiful and well-appointed. There were a lot of charging outlets in the bedrooms, and the bathrooms were re-stocked with new shampoo, conditioner and body wash every day. The only drawback is that the soundproofing in the building isn’t great, so you can hear the doorbell and people coming up the stairs, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Would stay here again.

My stay at Casa Decu was good overall. The hotel has an excellent location for walking around Condesa, and the staff is very friendly, with 24/7 service. The room was clean and spacious, with two good-sized bedrooms. A few areas for improvement, one of the windows in room 303 didn’t have a curtain, so a lot of light came in from another room, and in general the windows aren’t blackout, so the room gets very bright in the mornings. The beds were clean and a good size, but the mattresses were very firm. I also chose this hotel because it’s VIP Access to use my Expedia Gold Member benefits, but I didn’t receive any. Still, because of the location and the service, I would stay here again.

The location was absolutely amazing and in a very safe part of town. We walked around Parque México, explored the shops, and never had any issues! The room was very spacious; it had a sitting area, kitchenette, separate bedroom, terrace, and massive bathroom. The only complaint is that it is incredibly noisy— we could hear everyone coming and coming, all the conversations being had in the other rooms, the toilets flushing, the showers running, etc, so if you’re a light sleeper it might be a no deal for you! They also did not have an AC option which is typically always included in MX hotels so it was odd they didn’t have this available! Their terrace area was adorable (pictures attached), and overall, I would come back!

We absolutely love Casa Decu. This hotel is our go-to for Mexico City. The staff is incredible and it is spotlessly clean. This was the first time we went in winter and it was FREEZING. With three people sleeping in two different rooms and no central heating / I asked for an extra space heater - there weren’t any. We had one VERY thin blanket and I asked many different people multiple times for more blankets (we were there for a week) and was told there weren’t any more. It was 44 F degrees at night. COLD. This would have been ok but the bed we had was simply the worst bed of any hotel bed I’ve ever had. My husband and I were miserable. In fact this is the first negative review I’ve ever written. The sleep was freezing and horrible which made the days harder. If I was given a heater and/or more blankets / maybe it would have been ok. Here’s the kicker… when we were checking out a HUGE shipment of new mattresses were in the foyer!!! We absolutely love Casa Decu. This hotel is our go-to for Mexico City. The staff is incredible and it is spotlessly clean. This was the first time we went in winter and it was FREEZING. With three people sleeping in two different rooms and no central heating / I asked for an extra space heater - there weren’t any. We had one VERY thin blanket and I asked many different people multiple times for more blankets (we were there for a week) and was told there weren’t any more. It was 44 F degrees at night. COLD. This would have been ok but the bed we had was simply the worst bed of any hotel bed I’ve ever had. My husband and I were miserable. In fact this is the first negative review I’ve ever written. The sleep was freezing and horrible which made the days harder. If I was given a heater and/or more blankets / maybe it would have been ok. Here’s the kicker… when we were checking out a HUGE shipment of new mattresses were in the foyer!!! The staff is wonderful at the Casa Decu. Very friendly, very efficient. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the property is beautiful. One thing to note - there are LOTS of stairs. The breakfast is on a lovely terrace on the roof, but it requires going up several flights of stairs. If you have mobility issues this would not be a great place to stay.

I absolutely would recommend staying at Casa Decu! The staff was wonderful, extremely friendly and the rooms had everything you need. The bed was advertised as a Queen but was a full. It was not the most comfortable bed either but everything else was great! Water pressure was the best I ever had, and the doorman upfront made staying on this property feel extra safe. I would stay here again!

The hotel is in a converted old classic building, so it is no surprise that sound insulation is no great. I could hear the unfiltered poppy barking from the neighboring building. The hotel door was managed by an old gentleman, he could a bit more friendlier or welcoming. There was pouring rain while I was departing the hotel, he didn’t even offer to use an umbrella to shelter the rain while I was walking out to the Uber in the front.

Excellent in all respects. The only jarring note was that the doorman entered our room unannounced at 4am: we only knew when he left and the door banged behind him. He said he'd been asked to check whether we were there, but in no circumstances should staff be walking into your room unannounced in the middle of the night.

The staff was very welcoming and attentive to our concerns. The architecture is beautiful but it doesn’t have wheelchair accessibility. The area is calm and walkable. My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much!

Casa Decu is a great hotel located in La Condesa. Just a few blocks south of Parque Mexico, it’s a great area to walk around in with Roma Norte and other areas a walking distance away. You can also order Uber easily to go anywhere. The hotel itself is a nice little boutique hotel. Our hotel room was very spacious that included a small living room and kitchen area that included a mini fridge, microwave and plates/cutlery. One note for people to consider is that there is no elevator so you do have to walk up the stairs if you have a room on another level or want to go to the rooftop for breakfast. There is also no A/C which is not uncommon for boutique hotels in CDMX. It was pretty warm in CDMX this weekend but we found that just leaving the windows open and turning on the fan was very comfortable.

Casa Decu is located on a leafy, quiet street in Condesa. I booked a duplex suite which was beautiful and well-appointed. There were a lot of charging outlets in the bedrooms, and the bathrooms were re-stocked with new shampoo, conditioner and body wash every day. The only drawback is that the soundproofing in the building isn’t great, so you can hear the doorbell and people coming up the stairs, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Would stay here again.

Location is amazing. I love that neighbourhood, it's relatively quite, Park Mexico is fantastic, and Chapultepec Park and many other attractions are within walking distance. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is kind and helpful. The roof top terrace was beautiful. It's an older building with a lot of hard surfaces, so if you're a light sleeper, earplugs are recommended (I'd give that recommendation for nearly any hotel in Mexico City).

Clean and friendly. Good value. However room lighting is very dim and there is no air conditioning. Bright outdoor lighting makes it hard to leave window open as you need to pull down shades. Staff is excellent and complimentary breakfast was good although the exact same everyday.

This hotel was so great! Super walkable area. There were restaurants, cafes, boutiques, grocery/convenience stores just steps away. The free continental breakfast was super delicious and included coffee, tea, fresh orange or hibiscus juice, yogurt, granola, toast etc. The rooftop patio (where you could also get breakfast) was super cute with lots of seating options. The staff was really friendly and helped with bags and any questions you might have. One thing to keep in mind is there is no elevator at this property so you will have to take stairs up to the rooftop for breakfast or to your room if you're not on the ground floor. But we knew that when we booked so it was no problem :) Would definitely stay here again!

This place was wonderful! A beautiful rooftop with 24/7 coffee and water available, breakfast with a spread of fruits, cereal, and pastries, and super friendly and helpful staff. I left something behind in my room, and the staff was quick to reach out and arrange options for it being returned to me. Would 100% stay here again!

The property is lovely, well restored and offers excellent value. A few snags which tainted my stay. 1) heating, the rooms are cool overnight and I needed a heater. 2 out of 3 fan heaters didn’t work or provided a tepid heat. This should be basic function of the hotel. 2) the beds are standard doubles, which for mexico is small. They are ok but not luxurious. If you and your partner are larger you may well be touching through the night. 3) the included breakfast doesn’t have any protein options. Fruit, bread/pastry, kellogs cereals. Its sugar heavy which is not great if you are carb counting diabetic or keto. I have since read reviews and the hotel defends as being usual. I disagree, I have stayed in 6 different hotels in CDMX on the same bed and breakfast arrangement and this is the only one which charges for an egg or a bit of bacon. Theres lots of cute cafes around the neighbourhood to tempt away from the hotel offering.
