This Hotel is a Motel on a retail park. That said it was comfortable and cleaned daily. We chose the location for convenience for a wedding as we did not want to be in Hobart. It is easy to get to most of the area from, and Kingston beach is a quick drive away. There are Woolies and Coles nearby so very easy to look after yourself, although with only a microwave you have to be a bit inventive.

We have our family trip in TAS for five days and we chose this hotel as out two day accomodation, a great place with free car park in front of the building, comfortable bed and shower, its away from the city but we find some good park for leisure, we drive to ferry pier in a few minutes. It is a valuable choice for the family to visit Hobart.

This motel is situated within a small retail park so access and parking (with permit) is easy and it's not far from Kingston beach. Also, easy walk across the road to shops. The room is so big it could easily accommodate a king size bed. Everything required for a comfortable stay was provided. However, the switches for the bedside lights were not accessible from the bed and the room could have done with a mirror in addition to the one in the bathroom.

We stayed there 2 nights. The room was big and spacious and the view from the window was nice. However, there was hair on the bathroom floor, and we could hear everything that was going on in the next room because of the adjoining door! Plus, the reception of some of the channels wasnt great. We will never come back!

This was surprisingly good accommodation. Extremely well equiped, very comfortable bed, quiet - despite being in a relatively busy environment and a huge space ( biggest room and bathroom we've ever stayed at ). Check in was easy too. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

The room was spacious comfortable and clean and the daily servicing was great. The property was located very close to the town centre with everything within in a short walk. Wifi was strong and reliable.There was a lot of building work going on around which woke us very early every morning.The room could have done with more information about the facilities on offer as the reception was quite a distance from the room and only open till early evening. Checkout was done by leaving key in the room on departure.

The Kingston Hotel is worth staying if you are looking for convenience and value for money. The access to the type of reception or room service is limited. You are literally on your own. The convenience is that the rooms are cleaned daily, the crew is good and the room size is terrific with a comfortable couch and facilities. Hobart environ is smallish so the location of Kingston Hotel works well.

The Kingston Hotel is in the centre of Kingston so offers easy access to all the shops and restaurants in the Channel Highway and in Channel Court. It's also an easy walk to Kingston Beach. The rooms are really reasonably prices, spacious and the bed was comfortable.

A real surprise packet. Room was large with good facilities. Bed was comfortable with free WiFi and a large screen tv. Bathroom was modern and spacious. Even had a good view of Mount Wellington from the lounge area. Couldn't fault anything especially for the price which represented excellent value. Only real downside for some might be the distance from the CBD however there is plenty to see and do around the area.

Just such good value for money and well located with access to good shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Plus easy to get to Bruny Island for a day trip or back into Hobart. Perfect location for a traveler with wheels. Close access to great pub meals and bottle shop was a bonus
