Sayulita Central Hotel

Es viejo y descuidado, pero está muy limpio, la atención es excelente No tiene estacionamiento y te cobran $200 la noche por un estacionamiento

La verdad es justo lo que ves en las fotos y lo que te ofrecen, no tienen estacionamiento pero tienen convenio con uno cercas, y puedes ir de escurcion con ellos pero me levante tarde, la verdad es buena ubicación está todo lo que necesitas muy cercas

The place looked nice, and the staff was friendly, but there were roaches. (Parking I believe was 200 pesos and it’s about a ~10-minute walk) The staff seem like they are always running around so when we arrived there was no one at the counter for about 15 minutes (we did order the room only 20 minutes before so it’s understandable). We got our room and someone from the public had used our restroom because the doors are left open to let the rooms ventilate – the staff was apologetic, and it wasn’t a big deal to us, and we kept the same room. When we arrived after our night out there was a huge water roach on the wall that ran into one of the electrical boxes. I hate roaches so I didn’t get much sleep. Later I got up to use the restroom and there was what looked like a tiny roach on the roll of toilet paper. Then in the morning I found another tiny roach on the shower curtain. I let the staff know at checkout. I really hate roaches which is why I gave them a low rating. This hotel is right in the center of everything, but I would rather have a place that’s further away with no roaches.

Excelente ubicación y amabilidad, no tiene estacionamiento pero ofrecen un servicio fuera del hotel en 200 pesos la noche. En general para dormir está bien.

El hotel es bonito y con una excelente ubicación cerca de todos los mejores lugares para salir a caminar. La habitación tenía un olor raro como a humedad, la ducha regaba el agua a la habitación cuando te bañabas y el cuarto tiene un traga luz que apunta a la hacia una lámpara del recibidor fue un poco difícil dormir con la luz la primer noche.

The room was clean, the staff was helpful.

Good location close to the beach, town centre, and not far from the bus terminal. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in would benefit from better curtains as there was a lot of outside light coming through the window, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay here.

The only good thing about the hotel was the location, in the smack downtown. We got a room that had no window, room number 4, it looked they had build a wall and created an extra room under the staircase. It was more of a closet than a room. It was quite stuffy no ventilation whatsoever. The small restroom was smelling of sewage and we had to keep the door closed, when taking the shower the water was flowing into the room. I think it was the worst hotel room I ever stayed and I travel all the time. In another country it would probably be illegal to have a closet for a room.

Clean and friendly

Location location location!! This hotel is perfect! Super clean and the staff are amazing!! I asked for the room to be decorated for our birthday and the ladies went out of their way to go buy decorations and decorate. These ladies went above and beyond to make the stay special. Love this hotel and will def stay again!!

The place was falling apart and we had roaches in the room.

Shower did not work well or consistently. Paint peeling off the walls. Seemed fallen out of care. I'm guessing it was very cool at one time.

I think value for the money was exceptional. It didn’t bother me that 2 of the windows in my room were in a dark alley. Still let in enough natural light and kept things dark enough that I could sleep In a bit. Staff was great. I’d def stay here again and location was top notch.

This hotel is so unique, beautiful, and in the heart of Sayulita but only steps from the beach. Our room was one of a kind with amazing views, breeze, beautiful patio with a hammock and the staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful! LOVED this stay!! Highly recommend!!

Central location but very noisy. Room had an unpleasant smell and bed was very hard.

I got the panoramic view room and the view was great, the hotel is in nee of updating but the loaction and price are great.

The front desk staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and speak flawless English so it was easy to get directions and recommendations. We really liked our inside room for the added quiet. On another stay we had a room facing the street and the late night party noise and the early morning birdsong made rest difficult without ear plugs.

Staff was great. Enjoyed the charm of this older hotel. Had a corner room with a wraparound balcony

La habitación muy pequeña.... No hay televisión en la habitación... Fue algo que no me gustó.... Considero que todas las habitaciones deben de contar con televisión en los cuartos

Muy bonito con lo necesario para dormir. Monse fue muy amable y muy atenta, tambien el chico de la mañana pero no recuerdo el nombre. Todo queda super cerca del hotel. Sin duda regresaremos!

Perfect location! Helpful and friendly staff which were a true reflection of the amazing down of Sayulita. I don't think I'll stay anywhere else when I visit Sayulita now.

Long story short, we needed an over night stay on short notice (Girlfriend was ill). The lady that checked us in was super nice and helped in any way she could. Let my girl in early while we finished the paperwork, gave me directions to nearby pharmacy and stores for overnight supplies, etc. Building was cute as hell and centrally located for just about everything.

Upon arrival I was told the payment did not go through as I made the reservation via Expedia, although I had received a booking confirmation on the spot. I arrived at 8pm after a long road trip. The receptionist lacked hospitality, looked tired and was looking forward to ending her working day. As soon as I started arguing about the lack of payment methods at the reception, she did not hesitate to offer an escalation to the manager and got out of the way instead of showing some empathy. My response was: I came here to rest, not to argue and get stressed”. She could not even confirm if the system would accept a payment via CC or DC and did not give payment options as THEY DON'T HAVE A PAYMENT TERMINAL, which is unacceptable nowadays for travellers. Let's not forget that Sayulita is a little village in the middle of nowhere and there are only a few privately owened ATM machine with the highest rates you may expect. I ended up paying cash and had less money for my own spendings. The rooms are OK but tiny. Some remodeling will do good. I could only have cold showers, the hot water comes out boiling and there is no way to regulate the temperature. The only real advantage of the place is the central location. I am not sure if I would recommend to be honest as it is not particularly cheap.

BEWARE! Nightclub next door plays super loud music until 2AM.Then, for some reason, very loud fireworks, blockbusters to be specific, go off in the early morning. These explosions are loud enough to cause car alarms to go off. Staff, although friendly, forgot to give me the AC remote until I asked. Also, no hot water in the morning, once again, they forgot to open the valve until I asked about it. Reactive rather than proactive.

Many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, pastry shops, a gelato shop on the opposite corner and a chocolate shop across the park. Sayulita is a very touristy beach town with a lot going on and loud music well after midnight.

We spent 3 nights at Sayulita Central for a weekend getaway. You can't get a better location in Sayulita than this hotel. Right in the heart of the shopping and restaurants. The entrance is on a walking street to the beach. The service was exceptional, accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be returning!

Es muy inconveniente que no tengan terminal para hacer el pago y aveces el sistema que usan x email no funciona.

They were happy to except my reservation and my money. However, when I showed up to check in, it was all locked up.

Great location for food, shopping and beach!

Excelente ubicación, ¡y admiten mascotas! Me encanta el estilo mexicano tradicional, el personal es excelente y el dueño se toma el tiempo para conversar contigo si tienes preguntas sobre las habitaciones o la zona. Sin duda me volveré a hospedar allí. Además, como está justo en el centro, no me pareció nada ruidoso y dormí de maravilla.

A nice little hotel for the price. Can’t get better, location wise. We enjoyed the little coffee area each morning. We honestly found it to be quiet in comparison to some of the other hotels we have stayed at in Mexico, but if you require complete silence I would pick another hotel. Or maybe just avoid sayulita, all together. Would stay again

Todo muy bien sobre las instalaciones y personal, solo que se escucha todo, pisadas, voces, movimientos, etc. Pero si no te molesta el ruido, recomiendo hospedarte ahí ya que está muy céntrico y cerca de la playa.

This was a great find. Its name says it all, Sayulita Central Hotel. In the center of everything you need or want. Beach, plaza, shops, restaurants, activities, entertainment….

Excellent location

You simply cannot beat the location. A short walk to everything. This is a very “Mexican experience hotel.” Classic design with the amenities that you would expect in a Mexican hotel. Please be sure to bring some thing that will help you sleep through the neighborhood noise. I simply put my iPad onto white noise and I slept through the night. Do this, especially if you’re a late sleeper. Central air was amazing.

Down town, near everything 2 minutes walk to the beach

A nice little hotel for the price. Can’t get better, location wise. We enjoyed the little coffee area each morning. We honestly found it to be quiet in comparison to some of the other hotels we have stayed at in Mexico, but if you require complete silence I would pick another hotel. Or maybe just avoid sayulita, all together. Would stay again

The rooms are very basic. A bed, a nightstand, a small table & two chairs. We did have our own bathroom and shower. Our room had one small window that faced the common area, not outside. They did make coffee in the morning. We thought they had a restaurant, but it closed during COVID-19 and they haven't reopened it. It is located across the street from where the bands play on the street. Some nights until 2:00 am. You can find places for the same price that have better amenities.

Hotel is cute has it’s charm of old Puerto Vallarta. The location is great in between the central and blocks away from zona romántica. A couple of blocks away from the ocean. The restroom was a little dirty and the wifi is accessible in the lobby. The hotel overall was great. Friendly staff is always an A+ with me and this hotel has it. The restaurant/Bar on the roof was great. The food was good but the Drinks they made us were Great.
