The check in process was online and included seending photo-id and a security deposit - despite it being booked through Expedia and being a long time user of this site. And despite Expedia policy stating not to give payment details to the property. However, without which I would have had to find somewhere else at short notice. The lock mechanism on the front door was temperamental and didnt comply with the instructions until I tried lifting the handle rather than depressing it. I couldnt find the room once Id entered and had to walk through the kitchen, a laundry store and across a yard to find it. The best thing I coud say about the property is that it is reasonably cheap and was conveninet for where I was visiting. A good attempt at cleaning a tired and taudry room. Otherwise dreadful.

The place is clean and has big hall and kitchen. But it is very noisy area. You can hear everything happening on the streets . You can hear people talking on the street from the room. Also it is common bathroom for all 4 rooms. Expedia never listed like this. Also if the person in the other talks little louder you can hear. I would not recommend this for families or couples who are looking for safety

It was quite difficult to spot the entrance as it is just a normal door on the street, no indication that this is the apartment entrance. A sign would be helpful. Code didn't work on arrival, which was quite annoying. As it took 2 phone calls and about 10 minutes stood in the rain, before I could get in. Only electronic locks, no physical deadlock on the room door, therefore not great for solo travellers as doesn't feel 100% secure. No hot water in the shower in the morning, messed around for ages, got hot water out the bathroom sink, but the shower was still cold. Really not good for how much this cost.

Please save your self from great distress and don’t stay here. We got locked out of our room at 1am due to our key code no longer working and there is no one to contact so we had nowhere to sleep or no way to access any of our belongings or vital medication

Let me first say, unfortunately this was the most disappointing stay that I have had for many years. Whilst the accommodation is fabulously located, the quality of the residence and the customer experience has been extremely disappointing. First of all, the system of providing check in details and PIN is flawed. It took me several hours to get a response and finally get my check-in details. I see from other reviews, some other people have had similar issues. Next, it is not clear (perhaps I needed to look more deeply) that this room is only served by shared bathroom facilities. This is not obvious from your Hotels.com description, and quite honestly in this day and age is not acceptable. Again, I see from other reviews, people also suffered from not being aware from your listing. The room is comfortable. However, the carpet is disgustingly dirty, they need to change it, the whole room is grubby. The other problem is the window above the bedroom door. How do they expect somebody to get a decent nights sleep when the light on the landing is being continually switched on and off. I have been asked for feedback, so I am being 100% honest. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this property and i certainly wouldnt return.

Unique: Great difficulty in entering the property- apparently an e-mail was sent to us on the morning of our departure from our HOME - after we had left. We do not have access to e-mail other than at OUR home. When booking this was not made clear! Luckily a neighbour in STUDD Road came to our rescue. She was very helpful and contacted the ?owner/person in charge whosoever.Even if we had seen the e-mail with the entry details/codes etc it would have been difficult to enter due to the sensitivity of the apparatus on the door.-----NOW aside from that little matter we had an enjoyable stay- we were able to laugh about it afterwards. The property itself is indeed 'UNIQUE'- so we would probably stay there again if visiting the area.

For the price and location this guest house was very good. It was a shared bathroom and the bedroom was clean but shabby in some parts. If you’re going in expecting the ritz you’ll be disappointed but I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the room was. Perfect for my needs

The flat is tiny and very cleaned, it has everything you need for a couple of days including coffee, tea and sugar. All the appliances are well maintained and they match perfectly the flat’s vibes. The only problem is for the toilet, it wasn’t flushing properly and paper wasn’t going down. A little tip: i think it would be great to have a light above the mirror in the bath. Thank you so much!!

I had a really good 2 night stay here. Room was very big, with kitchenette at far end. Comfortable and clean. Quiet street for London. Excellent bars/bistros just round the corner.

It was a good stay unfortunately was a few small problems like one of the other residents was a bit noisey and there was a couple bits missed to clean but other wise the room was comfy and its in a good area and affordable, i would actuality recomend as the doors are locked with codes so if your alone its pretty secure!

Very convenient location, comfortable and quiet. My only issue was two other guests deciding to partake in, how can I put it in polite terms, extremely intimate activities in the shared living room!! Not the fault of the property I know so it wouldn't put me off staying here again :)

I had just gotten in from an international flight. The property is very close to a lot of nice restaurants and shops. I stayed there for a concert at the O2 and it was very convenient. The walls are thin though and I’m a light sleeper. Staff was friendly and allowed me to check in early for a much needed nap. Everything read clean and the shower has good hot water.

Location is perfect. However the check in procedure not so easy. The customer service on the phone was delightful and understanding. I would suggest to inform the guests in advance for this kind of procedure.

Check in process was substandard and very stressful - I had to repeatedly submit the same paperwork and chase up apartment access details, which was not provided until the very last minute. Video links for how to access the apartment didn’t work and email contact details for submitting passport info were blank. I was so fed up that I contacted Expedia for refund. The amount of time spent responding to emails and dealing with their processes for a one night stay was ridiculous. On a more positive note, apartment in excellent location and of a good size with tasteful furnishings.
Check in process was substandard and very stressful - I had to repeatedly submit the same paperwork and chase up apartment access details, which was not provided until the very last minute. Video links for how to access the apartment didn’t work and email contact details for submitting passport info were blank. I was so fed up that I contacted Expedia for refund. The amount of time spent responding to emails and dealing with their processes for a one night stay was ridiculous. Please save your self from great distress and don’t stay here. We got locked out of our room at 1am due to our key code no longer working and there is no one to contact so we had nowhere to sleep or no way to access any of our belongings or vital medication

Excellent value & a lovely place to stay, it would be hard to criticise the accommodation. However, the booking process was marred by needing either a current passport, or photo driving licence, neither of which I possess. A recently expired passport was declined & communication was poor, leaving me in limbo, having paid, not knowing if I had actually secured the accommodation. It took several days to finally secure access & only then with a £100 deposit, which will take time to be refunded. Sadly, this marred what would have been a 5* experience.

Great location for me, reasonable priced. Verv rooms Islington was a perfect stay for us being at an event at New Meta bar just down the road. Located near many different restaurants and cafes making life very easy. I have given 4 stars as I wasn't told until the day of arrival that I needed to give a £200 deposit, other than that though the place was clean, tidy and well organised, would stay again.

It was quite difficult to spot the entrance as it is just a normal door on the street, no indication that this is the apartment entrance. A sign would be helpful. Code didn't work on arrival, which was quite annoying. As it took 2 phone calls and about 10 minutes stood in the rain, before I could get in. Only electronic locks, no physical deadlock on the room door, therefore not great for solo travellers as doesn't feel 100% secure. No hot water in the shower in the morning, messed around for ages, got hot water out the bathroom sink, but the shower was still cold. Really not good for how much this cost.

I had just gotten in from an international flight. The property is very close to a lot of nice restaurants and shops. I stayed there for a concert at the O2 and it was very convenient. The walls are thin though and I’m a light sleeper. Staff was friendly and allowed me to check in early for a much needed nap. Everything read clean and the shower has good hot water.

Took my 9 year old son to his first Arsenal game and booked a last minute night at Verv. It was perfect! Great facilities and about a 25 minute walk to the ground.

I had a really good 2 night stay here. Room was very big, with kitchenette at far end. Comfortable and clean. Quiet street for London. Excellent bars/bistros just round the corner.

Well it was very different to what I thought and unless I missed it, we had a communal bathroom, shower and toilet which I did not expect. It was clean but I wouldn’t stay as a couple. Parking is a nightmare and I got a ticket even though I moved my car twice but you only have 1 hour parking during the day mon-Saturday

Chambre petite mais tres agréable donnant sur une terrasse, hôtel très bien localisé dans un quartier anime, restaurant, commerces. Bon rapport qualité prix si on accepte la salle de bain partagée.

Bathroom shabby not finished incl. the shower panel only held up with adhesive does top & bottom downstairs was a builders site basically very messy room was ok But door lock had been broken in past poor repair job. For London you’re charging to much for basically just an ok room could of got good hotel with en suite for same price doors was not fire doors NO fire alarm system when it’s a must due to how many rooms and levels unsure how the council has given you licensed to trade as rentals. Or have you not got one I won’t be using this again not for the mo ey V quality far to expensive for below basics provided

The “”””executive”””” studio is located outside, once you put the code in the main rntrance you have to walk through the kitchen and then the laundry room that was a complete mess full of health hazards. The door of the laundry room ( that has no keys and stays open all night) takes you outside, where there suppose to be a garden full of rubbish and with no maintenance. The studio is nothing like the pictures, is dirty, there was no heating on, it was cold, the shower head doesn’t stay up, the carpet in front of it I guess was never washed or changed, the fridge door is broken and before you realise the door fall on yr foot cos opens like a dishwasher, no sign to make you aware of that. I didnt feel safe at all overnight, the door doesn’t close properly. It was a nightmare! Not even to mentioned I had to leave 300£ deposit that I got back 2 days later. I would like to be contacted cos I have evidence of what I am saying and I would like a compensation and a refund!
