It's a nice property but the parking lot is not obvious. Furthermore, if you do park there, you need to walk quite a distance around the building to check in at the front desk. It's not convenient. Hotel employees can enter from a rear door facing the parking lot. Why not residents too?? We ate dinner on property and it was good enough. Not excellent, but good

The car park requires walking around the perimeter of the building to gain entry to the hotel. I am disabled and this was inconvenient for me. The surroundings were dark and I felt uneasy.

I’ve stayed here several times and it never disappoints. Staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are clean, roomy and clean. The gym is good and the bars in the lobby and upstairs are great. Breakfast is excellent. Location is great for the shops and train station, a 5 minute walk. Highly recommend.

Been here before and always enjoyed sky bar. This occasion was told we couldn’t come in. No sign saying private or anything to close that to hotel guests really was annoying and rude. Always go for a drink there when stay if going to close areas and turn paying guests away should inform so I can book somewhere else

Fabulous stay, spotlessly clean and very stylish hotel. Room was gorgeous, bathroom great, lovely shower and so clean. We had a few drinks in the bar and the rooftop bar, both were really nice and felt really cosy to sit in. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from. We would definitely stay here again and thoroughly recommend this hotel. You wont be disappointed

Well situated hotel, staff great, room comfortable and stylish, small gym nice, breakfast excellent. Only issue is the car park which, while attached to the hotel you have to walk outside and its not a quick walk. With a torn tendon in my knee and a wet weekend it was soul destroying walking to and from the car park.

Gorgeous room. Annoyingly few tea bags and milk sachets provided. Lovely toiletries. Didn’t get to use the rooftop bar on a sunny day as was closed for private party which was a shame. 10-15 min walk to everywhere we wanted to go: The quay restaurants, New Theatre, the Minster, the Polar Bear Club (fab live music in small pub setting!)

The overall hotel was clean but our shower had dirt stripes in it when we first entered the room. The staff was very helpful and friendly but overall it wasn't the greatest when it came to sleep due to the amount of noise from the hotel itself.

Lovely hotel and staff could not be more helpful Unfortunately when we arrived at our room it had not been cleaned or made up , the staff at The desk were quickly on it and moved us rooms and gave us complimentary drinks at the bar , on arriving at the second room there was a smelly pizza box under the bed but again the reception staff soon sorted it and again offered free drinks .. I would stop here again without a doubt the hotel is lovely and the staff great I think on this occasion we were very unlucky

Excellent hotel. Own secure car parking £12 for 24 hours. Just around the back of the hotel. Reception service friendly and efficient. Room excellent including washroom. No mirror above dressing table for hair drying. Big mirror but no socket near it. I stripped the bed sheets off before departure ,as I always do. Mattress protector had a massive stain on it. Breakfast £17.00 per person. Was excellent loads of choice, bacon was very under done for us. Coffee and orange juice was awful. Staff were all so friendly, polite and helpful. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Accessible room was furthest from the lift. Bathroom one of the best equipped i have used. The Receptionist had to help with my bags. The room was clean and comfortable. However it was not serviced during my two day stay. On the whole the food was good, but i did have one sandwich with chicken that was partly uncooked. They have to remember that not everyone is electonically knowledgeable.

We booked 5 nights at the Doubletree Hull but our stay was spoiled due to the bed which was so firm and uncomfortable leading to a reoccurrence of a an old sciatic condition for my wife. We were informed that all beds were the same in the hotel so changing room would be unlikely to resolve the problem and we seriously considered abandoning our trip accordingly. The staff did help by adding a duvet on top of the mattress acting as a topper but this only partly resolved the problem. We would have checked out early if we hadn’t booked using a non refundable tariff so we ended up purchasing a thick mattress topper for the bed from a local superstore to ensure we were able to sleep more comfortably.

Great hotel. Unfortunately air con wasn’t working and you can’t open the windows for fresh air. Although it’s hardly the hotels fault the weather was so hot. Good hotel, would recommend when it’s not 30c outside.

For price of hotel in the area of Hull, UK not worth it. Room was very confortable and clean, but didnt come with fridge(you can ask for one), room service is very expensive, does have AC but shuts off during the night so woke up sweating each night, cleaning service comes early(930) so couldnt get room cleaned half the time, and the TV needs apps or smart hook up for movies or shows.

Great hotel great location, just got no sleep because of a yapping dog. Complained in the morning and they told me I should have called reception and changed rooms… at 2.30 in the morning, like it was my fault which made me feel even worse. I don’t think anyone would be up for changing rooms at that hour. Disappointing stay.

Fantastic stay. Room was cold but easily solved by turning off the air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent both in terms of choice and quality and all attractively laid out. The hotel is a bit further from the station than we'd anticipated but we'd definitely stay again as the quality and facilities were so good.

Fabulous night was there for a charity event with friends and my disabled daughter who is also gluten free. Service was exceptional and attention to allergies was absolutely amazing especially as they were not advised before hand about her allergy. We were both impressed. The room was amazing so clean and comfortable. Reception when we arrived was fantastic we checked in then they asked if we had any allergies before handing us a cookie what a wonderful surprise. Breakfast was also fab. We were greeted by a lovely Greek lady named Thomi who sorted out my daughters gluten free breakfast. Thomi chatted to us and made my daughter who is also autistic and has ADHD feel so special and welcome which helped her to relax and enjoy her breakfast. The choices that where available on the buffet breakfast was really good and the food was delicious. All I can say is thank you to all the staff from the cleaners and the security guards to the reception and restaurant staff for making our stay wonderful. Can't wait to stay again.

We were given a roon that was extremely noisy apparently the ac was right above. We rang reception and they said they would move us straight away. An hour later we were still waiting and rang again no answer so had to go down the girl on reception knew nothing about it. Eventually we were given another room but we had to rush around like lunatics as we had reservations in 5 mins Totally spoilt our stay

I’ve stayed here several times and it never disappoints. Staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are clean, roomy and clean. The gym is good and the bars in the lobby and upstairs are great. Breakfast is excellent. Location is great for the shops and train station, a 5 minute walk. Highly recommend.

Arrived and I got told I had booked two rooms, and four breakfasts which obviously was a mistake. Whilst I was on the phone in the lobby trying to sort it out they took the money for both rooms and the four breakfasts off my card! WTH I was trying to sort it out. You had no authorisation to do that especially not the breakfast. Expedia called them they agreed to only charge half for the room. I went back to the desk agreed to pay half for the unwanted room and cancel all the breakfast at which point the arrogant manager just said he is cancelling my entire booking and find some where else to stay and my credit got the rooms will take up to 5 days I think he was hoping that I didn’t have money for another hotel room. Shame really because this is my normal go to hotel. I’m sure it could have been sorted out. But every disappointment is a blessing found another hotel which has now become my new recommended go to hotel. Still not got the refund but I had a great night in hull thanks

I had to give a negative because of management. I stayed one week ago and yet the £50 debit that was taken off on the day of my staying there is still appearing on my credit card, even though they promised it would be returned within three days. The staff at the hotel were pleasant, though.

Great hotel in good location. Ate at the Marco Pierre White Restaurant, which was excellent. The only let down was the breakfast which was very disappointing. The bacon had off colour dark patches( I believe caused by formation of metmyoglobin, a pigment that turns meat brownish-red due to long exposure to light). The herby sausage was excellent but when I started eating the second it had an unpleasant flavour, so I left it. The fried eggs were way over cooked and were hard like boiled eggs.

Excellent hotel. Own secure car parking £12 for 24 hours. Just around the back of the hotel. Reception service friendly and efficient. Room excellent including washroom. No mirror above dressing table for hair drying. Big mirror but no socket near it. I stripped the bed sheets off before departure ,as I always do. Mattress protector had a massive stain on it. Breakfast £17.00 per person. Was excellent loads of choice, bacon was very under done for us. Coffee and orange juice was awful. Staff were all so friendly, polite and helpful. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Fabulous stay, spotlessly clean and very stylish hotel. Room was gorgeous, bathroom great, lovely shower and so clean. We had a few drinks in the bar and the rooftop bar, both were really nice and felt really cosy to sit in. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from. We would definitely stay here again and thoroughly recommend this hotel. You wont be disappointed

Fantastic stay. Room was cold but easily solved by turning off the air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent both in terms of choice and quality and all attractively laid out. The hotel is a bit further from the station than we'd anticipated but we'd definitely stay again as the quality and facilities were so good.

Wonderful modern hotel, helpful friendly staff, great bed and bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful too, fresh pastries and fresh hot buffet. Our only disappointment was the restaurant evening meal, overpriced and luke warm food, not at all like the fabulous description on the menu. We wished we had not been so lazy and found a local independent restaurant which is our usual mo.

Booked a one night stay to attend The Saboteurs . What a fantastic night it was very well organised and excellent meal. We booked a disabled room unfortunately when we got there the bed was far to low we would never of got off it. If you are in a wheelchair chair it would have been fine but not for some one with walking disability. The lovely young lady on reception soon got us another room with a walk in shower. The breakfast was a lovely buffet well set out with plenty of choice. Just watch your table had our cereal and came back to find our table was been cleared away. So either one of you stay at the table or put something on it so you don’t loose it. Car park is round the back of the hotel. Took the post code off another site ended up in the industrial estate. So go to the hotel turn down the side of the hotel turn right then right again. £12.00 for 24 hour stay car park opposite 4.50 for 34 hour stay. Walk to car park is about 3 minutes walk. You will need a credit or debit card it does not take cash. Enjoy your stay
