The Driftwood

We ate in the restaurant downstairs- food was delicious. We had evening dinner and breakfast. Breakfast not included in the booking price, so €15/ person we thought was quite expensive when it was a choice of one dish with coffees/ teas. Ideal location, helpful staff but again for €160 room price, I would have liked a room with a view. The bedrooms are quirky and tastefully decorated but ours was quite dark as it's located at the back of the building. I had requested a front room a week before arriving , if one was available, but property did not reply to the message. I was told on arrival, that they'd already been booked up anyway. The TV in the room displayed 'no signal ' for every station. Otherwise, a good place to stay and I would definitely stay there again, but will know to request a room with a view upon booking .

Courteous staff, good food. Our bed needed help, and altho quiet iverall we could hear everything the guy in the next room was doing.

Did not like the fact that bathroom did not have heat and towel warming racks did not work

Gorgeous! The property is right on the ocean with beautiful Mountain View’s. Inside is impeccably decorated. It’s a five minute drive to an ocean cold plunge and sauna with a view of Benbulbin. The bed is comfy. As an American, the shower is 10/10 luxury, and downstairs the food is incredible. We will be back again! No notes!

Lovely room, very charming and cute, clean! Restaurant served good food, quick service.
