This property is huge. It is well kept. I personally like walking but it’s nice to know and see the trolleys constantly running. They even have ferries available. Maria is absolutely the GOAT in hospitality. She is amazing.

The property was kept clean at all times. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was easy to move around the resort with the golf carts and boat service. The specialty restaurants were great. I enjoyed Bravo the new restaurant.

Overall, I had a good stay at the hotel. The staff and service was really excellent (at times it felt like service overload); but the resort had good facilities; and plenty of excursions. The tennis facilities were also excellent.

Overall, my family (2 adults, 2 young children) had a nice visit to this resort. Upon check-in, we upgraded to the Family Selection area, which provided access to an additional pool and kids activities during our stay. We also had a butler, who answered all of our questions in person and through WhatsApp. They were also able to get us boxed lunches for our excursions and the flight home. We loved all of the pools and resort restaurants. Our kids also loved the kids theater shows, which happened at 8:00pm daily. We also appreciated the frequent shuttle carts to help us get around the property. The beach was nice, but there were high winds during our stay, so we didn't spend much time there. Removing one star because the property had some maintenance issues. Some with our room, which were promptly fixed once we reported with our butler. Another with a jagged table edge at a restaurant which ripped my husband's shirt and also sliced my son's cheek open (promptly treated by a resort medic).

Overall the stay at Grand Palladium was okay, the room smelled like mold and was very humid. Even with the doors closed it was hot, we complained about the Air conditioning and they came to fix it but moments later the AC was blowing hot air again. The sheets on the bed were damp and stained. The food was subpar but edible.

We had to leave our personal belongings with the staff when we first got there. My Valentino wristlet got stolen. So disappointed! Towels were very old. Room got cleaned only once during our stay and the bathroom flooded every time we took a shower. Food was ok. Good service.

Overall, the resort is nice. Tje restaurant selections were done but the food was subpar. Nothing spectacular. My main issue was the room. When I arrived, the sink and bathtub were both dirty. My toilet would constantly run after flushing it. The sinks drained extremely slow so it was always full of water. The table out on my balcony was never cleaned . I always felt a film on it. The balcony chairs were never repositioned like they should be once your room is cleaned. This is exactly how I know nobody went outside to clean or tidy up. What I was disgusted by the most was the bedframe. At the bottom edge of the bedframe, it was most likely a previous guest, clipped their disgusting toenails and left All of the clippings there. I could not believe how this resort does NOT clean their rooms well, AT ALL. I left those clippings there my entire stay to see if housekeeping would re.oce them. Those clippings stayed there MY ENTIRE STAY. I have never been so disgusted in my life. This truly goes to show that the people that clean our rooms really do not do a thorough job, AT ALL. This resort is beautiful and kid friendly but I can honestly say that I will never be back.

Clean room, great staff, amazing time

My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights for a friend's wedding that involved multiple events throughout the week. We have both been to Mexico before and a range of all-inclusives. Check-in was a bit painful and uninformative. The front desk staff failed to mention that the buffet was actually closed that night for dinner (this was at 3pm). The junior poolside room was spacious and pretty but never seemed clean. The floors were dirty when we got there and the new sheets had stains on them. There was one day where we had no towels. It was also difficult getting bottled water. The food was mediocre at best and many people that were part of our group got sick from it throughout the week. The Italian and Mexican restaurants were okay (nothing special but didn't get sick from them) and the Japanese (specifically teppanyaki) was my favorite meal. We were attending an Indian wedding and so we were served Indian food at several events - this seemed to trigger a lot of illness. The main pool was great and the bartenders at the pool bar made great drinks. The beach was lovely. There was a decent amount of seaweed on the shore but it wasn't that bad once you were in the water. A lot of things seemed a bit run down and not well taken care of - for example the pool tables at the sports bar were all broken. We also noticed a lot of weddings happening while we were there... it seemed like this was the resort's main source of business and they didn't care about much else.

I’m very disappointed with the cleanliness and the mini fridge I wasn’t asking for beer or anything else I just need bottles of water hard to get it!!!

Not clean room

1. Solicitamos con antelación una cuna para bebé, tanto al hacer la reserva (en las notas) como al momento del check-in. Sin embargo, al llegar a la habitación, la cuna no estaba. Tuvimos que indicarles en varias ocasiones —hasta en finalmente en la cuarta ocasión la trajeron. 2. Viajábamos en grupo, y es razonable pensar que todos querríamos estar en el mismo edificio. No fue así, nos ubicaron en distintas locaciones, lo que complicó la experiencia grupal. 3. En cuanto a los alimentos, esperábamos un nivel más premium, especialmente al comparar con otros hoteles de la misma categoría. Reúsan mucho los alimentos del día anterior y hasta el tras anterior, el arroz blanco olía mal. 4. El servicio de los saloneros fue excelente. Queremos destacar especialmente a Mauro en el restaurante tailandés y an Armando en el japonés. 5. Sobre la limpieza del cuarto: todo iba bien hasta que anoche, después del servicio de limpieza, notamos que los paños usados (que habían quedado en el piso) fueron colgados nuevamente, en lugar de ser reemplazados. También notamos que retiraron la plancha de ropa sin explicación y colocaron una secadora de cabello. Llamamos a servicio de habitaciones para dejar constancia y evitar inconvenientes al momento del check-out. 6. La cama presenta un problema que consideramos importante mencionar: todas las noches he tenido picazón en brazos y cuello, al punto de despertarme en la madrugada.

Rooms and bed were super comfortable will definitely be back

We loved this place as a family! The spa experience was incredible. The only thing disappointing was the noisy doors in the middle of the night. Some guests were very inconsiderate and just keeps shutting it off so loud. You can hear guests from the hallways. It’s a big building but looks like doors are thin enough that you can hear every single noise at night.

We don’t even know where to begin…from the time of checking in to the Resort we knew that we had made the best choice. The rooms where spacious with comfortable beds and amazing bathrooms, the pools at TRS and the main pool at the Grand Palladium were great especially with the bartenders at the pool on the TRS side ( Antonio & Edwin ), the beach area is huge and it was always kept very clean, the nightly shows were always very entertaining and fun. we also wanted to thank the following people for making our family vacation a memorable one: - Maria - our concierge who would contact me every morning to see what we needed for the day, thank you for booking our dinners, they were all amazing and delicious. - Fernando - (beach waiter on the TRS side) even though we only met him towards the last few days of our trip he really left a lasting impression with my family and I. - Roberto - ( waiter at El gaucho ) thank you for treating us like family, thank you for the amazing dessert shows, they were truly amazing. There were many more staff that were extremely nice to us ( sorry if I didn’t mention you personally ) but you also left a great impression. Overall an place for a family vacation!

Staff was amazing but the air conditioning in the room was not great it was warm throughout the day and would be cooler at night. I upgraded to premium alcohol but it was not worth it as there weren’t much places to access them. The tile in my room were damaged but not a big concern.

Air conditioner to laud Beer and wine selection very limited

My boyfriend and I went to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and we had an amazing time! All of the staff in every aspect of the resort, was very kind, professional, helpful, and made the experience so great. I want to specifically thank Maria, our VIP concierge who was amazing and went above and beyond for us! Even before check in, she reached out and offered assistance. Throughout our stay, she was very attentive always making sure we were okay and asking if we needed anything. She was particularly helpful in helping us book all restaurants for dinner, last minute tennis, and assisting us with a last minute extended stay of one night, she really provided exceptional customer service. All of the rooms, facilities, restaurants, buffets, and pool areas were very clean. Our experience at the spa was amazing! The staff was great and we really enjoyed all of our services and the hydrotherapy. The food was really great! We enjoyed it all and were impressed by the quality and taste. Overall, we had an amazing time here and would definitely recommend it!!

Maria, our concierge during our stay was pivotal in making this a relaxing stay for us. She set up all of our dining reservations and checked in with us every day to check if we needed anything. Pablo the Teppanyaki chef was superb and very entertaining. The host on the La Trajinera was superb and made us feel very special, I wish I remembered his name. Would definitely return to this resort next week if I could!

Beautiful resort, excellent service everywhere you go. Very clean and safe. Food options at the pool were just okay. Reservations at restaurants need to be made at check in or else you may not land a seat. Important to note: this resort is large and in order to get around, you will need to take golf carts. Walking is not impossible but with the heat and little kids, golf carts were the way to get around. Sometimes they come quick and sometimes there is a bit of a wait. Wish we were given a map at check in so we know where everything is at. We got by with asking a lot of questions and knowing general areas of where we wanted to go. The butler service was great. They are fast; attentive and really try their best to meet your needs. No request is too odd! Javier the resort manager met us and ensured our needs were taken care of. Great service! Overall would recommend this resort.

The resort was great! When we arrived we had an Expedia concierge that was provide that was to us because we booked through hotels.com. Her name was Maria Teresa and she was amazing. Whatever we needed we just contacted her and it was taken care of. We were blown away by the attention we received that others we were traveling with did not. Definitely would love to go back and absolutely would book with hotels.com.

A 5 star resort on a limited budget. House keeping was inconsistent. Employee's weren't friendly.

First and foremost, I visited this resort a few years ago. The food, the drinks, the customer service was top notch. We now recommended the resort to 15 of our friends. Our experience was one that I want to delete from my memory forever. They put us in building 15 1st floor has to be infested with roaches. Exposed pipe in the rooms Dirty towels Multiple occasions where we ask for room cleaning and didn’t get it Asked for towels and they don’t bring it for hours Employees at the sports bar telling us we will bring food out if you give me and my chef money Employees at the poolside telling us make my Christmas and we will take care of you Employee at beach running after us for a tip while we gave his partner $20 as soon as we got to beach and he came back with a new employee when he brought us one tray of drinks and said my friend is going to take care of you. Do they think we’re stupid? This is a way to finesse people out of money!! We are embarrassed by our friends to have recommended it. They had the worst trip ever. To top it off, we have $500 missing from a room and instead of putting blame on them immediately , all I asked was police to show up and run fingerprint tests and they said they’re not allowed to go inside. This answered my question. We actually had to call police to the resort to Come file a report. Trip from hell indeed

To begin with Maria Teresa from VIP conceirge took care of our group. Since I am an Expedia Gold Member we were able to get upgraded to the TRS Coral Hotel- Adults only. I can't thank Maria enough for the amazing upgrade. If you have a chance to stay at the TRS Coral side, it is worth every dollar! We upgraded to the LOFT suite and it was a beautiful story LOFT and the most amazing room we have ever stayed in. Lilly from the check-in counter took care of us while checking in. We had butler service in building number 2. Our butlers Misa and Windham took care of our needs and all their reservations for their restaurants. My Fiance proposed to me well, we were here. It was the most amazing time of my life! Misa helped to plan the proposal with my fiance. He organized beautiful roses with a bottle of wine in the room. Adrian and Brian where the next butlers for the last two days we were there. Adrian helped us out with our late checkout as one of our Expedia perks. Brian was very helpful cause I was sick. The second last day of her trip, he was able to organize a nice meal for me as I just wanted something light for my stomach. The in room suite service is amazing. The TRS Coral side has twenty four hours of room service. It is definitely worth it. I would say for vegetarians, there are not that many options, which is the only thing I would provide as feedback - especially for the buffet that is something that they really need to work on for vegetarians.

Facilities are nice and well kept. Staff is great, specially Maria, VIP concierge was very friendly and super helpful, she made sure we had everything we needed for during our stay!

Highly recommend this resort for getaways. Clean property, attentive service, great beach. Don’t be scared by the size of the resort. It is not troubling at all to get to where you need to go whether walking or using their cart/ferry services.

We had a great time! The property is beautiful, beach is great! Very clean. Staff is very polite and friendly. Food is good. You won’t be disappointed. Worth a little extra drive from Cancun.

The standard rooms were far from the beach.

This was our first trip to Grand Palladium and it did not disappoint. We have recently started to visit Mexico north of the Hotel Zone and we will continue to do so. Not only is the seaweed less, the beach is cleaner, safer, and tremendously less populated. I was able to walk almost a half mile in either direction before coming across other people (and they were walking for leisure/exercise as well). The tropical environment is much more noticeable and enjoyable. The staff of Grand Palladium are incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely concerned for your overall experience. The property is pristine, there is golf cart transportation 24/7 if you don’t care to walk from point A to point B, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. We traveled with 4 adults and 2 older teens and we all had more than plenty to do: paddle boarding, tennis, excursions available, several pools (with activities), nightly entertainment at the open air theater, and beautiful beach access and bar services. We thoroughly enjoyed Maria and Ivan at the pool bar, and Israel was amazing as our beach server. The room service was great and easy to order. The restaurant food was excellent quality and delicious, and the open buffets (general meals) were the best we have encountered. We have been to Mexico at least 6 times in the last 8 years and this was one of our favorite trips by far.

It was overall a good stay. Very nice resort. However the food was not the greatest could have been better. Some of the bartenders were rude at times as if they didn’t want to serve. But overall great place to rest just wish the food was better as well as the drinks whats mixer juice they use it’s way to sugury

This resort is gorgeous, along with great staff and amenities. The property is quite large, but they provide plenty of easy transportation around to save you from all the walking.

Intake and departure were swift. We had to wait for our room to be ready at 3pm but were allowed to roam the property in the meantime. I’d suggest bringing a change of clothes for the pool if you have an early flight in. The buffet food selection was excellent. We only dined one night at the a la carte steakhouse El Guacho, service and food were great. We did breakfast at Capricho and the other restaurant on the TRS side. Both had a la carte menus with some buffet selections, food at both places were delicious. All the pool areas looked well kept as well as the beach. If you are traveling with little ones they have a nice pool setup with slides and zero clearance entrance. The family pool at Family selection gets started with music and activities at 11am. There were quite a few weddings during our 3 day stay so bear in mind there will be a lot of people on site if you’re caught in the cross hairs. My only concern was how big the resort is, you have 3 modes of transportation, either walk (a lot) or wait for a trolley or take a boat ride. It’s setup like the Venice canals. Their night life has a few options so you don’t need to really travel out of the resort unless you want to. Overall our stay was pleasant, relaxing and fun. Service 5/5, cleanliness 5/5, value 5/5, sleep quality 5/5, rooms 5/5, location 3/5 (it’s about a 40 min drive from Cancun airport no traffic. Setup private transportation if you can swing it.

Beautiful and clean property with friendly and attentive staff. Only drawback is the mediocre food.

Property was very nice. Pools, room and beach were great. Food was TERRIBLE. The reservation process for dinner was ridiculous. Restaurants are full every night or closed. Yet you go to the restaurant and every table is open. Wouldn’t go back.

Stayed in Family Selection which allowed my wife and I to go to TRS restaurants. All of the food everywhere was good except for El Gaucho. El Dorado was much better. La Boheme and Sumptori were excellent.

I've been to many resorts but this is the first time I've said I'd go back. Great value for money, great staff and service, great food options including the buffets. Property and beach were exactly what i was hoping for

Though the property is lovely for a five star hotel, I was expecting more. Have tried three of the restaurants. I don’t know how it’s possible that everyone of the restaurants the food was mediocre. This is Mexico. I’m not expecting mediocre. I’m expecting to be wild for the price that I paid at this hotel. The pool was fine. The room was big attention to detail is lacking. Example they left us two pouches of coffee while we were there for four days what were we supposed to do after the first two days they never brought us more coffee, minor incident like this just made it less enjoyable for what we paid which was a lot.

Resort is nice but doesn’t have enough restaurants, equipment, space for the number of guests. We were stuck eating the buffet every meal.
