Motel 6 Fort Worth, TX - North - Saginaw

Very unique to not have microwaves but yes have mini fridges in the rooms

The property was extremely limited in amenities. Shampoo and conditioner were not included in the rooms (only bar soap), nor were their hair dryers or basic hotel amenities. Further, it took 3 days to get my room cleaned and when the room was finally "cleaned," the same sheets were used to remake the bed instead of fresh sheets, none of the trash was cleaned,, there were no change out for towels or wash cloths, and one of the mattress protectors was simply removed and thrown onto the floor. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that it did not have any bugs.

Property provided no basic amenities such as toiletries or even a microwave. Outdated television and bad parking

Very simple. Bed doesn't have box springs. Mattress sits and on a table and will slide off if you move at all. No coffee maker in room. No microwave on room. Mini fridge on floor under table. Maid service everyday. New towels everyday. Very small parking lot. Crowded, don't come late. Seems to be run by a family. Guys at desk were nice but strange. Girls were really strange. Older lady got onto me for throwing my trash in the trash can in the lobby. I carried down my food wrapper from the previous night to throw in the lobby. I didn't want to leave it in my room for the maid. The older lady at the desk asked if i just threw away my trash and i said yes. She then told me to throw my trash in the dumpster outside at the back of the property. She was very stern about it. She stated that the trash can there was for lobby coffee trash only. It was a big trash can. There was coffee in the lobby that i got in the morning. After she got onto me i didn't get coffee anymore. I stayed Week. I paid through hotels.com. The guy at the desk said i paid too much when i checked in. He said if i pay through him it would be 393 a week. I stayed one week, left, and called about a 393 week. A girl answered, told me i cant get the discount because i pay 500 something dollars. I stated yes i did, but i was told i could get a discount if i pay directly to them. She kept saying no. Then she changed her mind and said okay, but it's 429 up front. I didnt book.

The hotel was new and clean and the dront desk people were very friendly. My only thing would be that the room was tiny I couldn’t even get my luggage between the bed and wall. So the room with a single bed is really only good for one person. It had a table with seating for 2 but I feel like the rooms would be better without that. The bathrooms were large and had good water pressure. The parking lot was also very small and tight. There is food in walking distance which was great!

We had a very comfortable room that was serviced daily with fresh towels. The staff were friendly and the ice machine was fantastic in the very hot weather. The location is great to get to the Stockyards and shops. Dining options were numerous in close proximity.

The check-in process was extremely fast. The property and room were very clean. The only thing I didn't care for was the fencing that surrounded the property due to a storage facility of some sort being right next door and a train behind the motel.

Bed sheets were dirty and uncomfortable.

This was the cleanest motel that I've ever stayed in! Awesome staff!

Decor and furniture in hotel room is basic but gets the job done. Biggest issue was cleanliness of the linen and towels. Bedsheets had some stains and hair on it. Worst part were the towels with very big heavy stains and the shower had mold growing on the top.

There was bed bugs and they would not let me cancel the stay

I never had a problem staying here until (and I counted) I woke up in the middle of the night to burning sensations in various spots around my body. As I looked down by my arm, I watched a baby bed bug filled with MY blood trying to run away. As soon as that happened I woke my boyfriend and as he rolled over there was another (adult sized) coming right towards me. We stayed in room 120 that night, and I told myself never again. We burned ALL of our clothes and anything that a bed bug potentially could be interested in nesting in. Sadly, not a single concern was had about our experience and I’m hoping they ATLEAST had someone come out to address that issue. We will NEVER stay here again.

We hVe stayed at this hotel multiple times and the service and cleanliness has always been consistently good. However the beds are not comfortable. The mattress slides too much and is very hard. We both usually wake up with a backache. We can only stay a couple of nights because of the bed.

I was surprised with how clean the room was. The only negative was there was a very heavy smoke smell, caused my toddler to begin coughing a lot. We were in a designated non-smoking room. The front desk staff was nice and helpful, gave me an extra pillow I requested.

Looks like it was recently remodeled, very Scandinavian vibe. A couple of the sheets were stained and probably should have been replaced, but overall it was better than most Motel 6s

The maid left a used bath towel hanging on the towel rack in the bathroom. The rest of the room was clean. I did not sleep all night I had no idea the hotel was built right next to a train track and the train passes by every 5 min blowing the horn. I had to deal with this all night long…Unbelievable

It’s a good property. But staying on the ground floor has the pros and cons. Pros- very walkable. Cons- you can hear the cars, trains and the names of the guests checking in! But the hotel room is greatly clean!

The room is starting to show some age; with trim on mirrors/night-stands falling off, and taped with desk/electrical tape to keep it together. Cigarette burns in bedding, in bathroom, and generally everywhere. I booked last minute and Hotels dot com only had smoking rooms available, my fault, not theirs, but I would think burnt bedding would be replaced after so many holes. The location is tucked away, and fenced in completely, with not many homes/apartments nearby, thus it felt very safe To sum it up, this is a decent place to rest your head for cheap. If all you need is a safe rest, shower, and warmth/cooling, this will get it done.

The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. Motel 6 has come a long way since the old days, but it’s still Motel 6. There’s no alarm clock, no closet, and don’t forget to bring your toiletries. The room was also very small and the bathroom door should have been installed to open the opposite direction. To go into the bathroom you open the door towards you so you have to walk around it. I like saving my dollars by using Motel 6 for short stays, but the efficiency of the room is lacking so I limit it to one or two nights.

I woke up at 7:45am to the sound of furniture being dragged across the room. After a minute of this I called the front office and told them I had planned to sleep until 9:30, having had a long trip the day before. I couldn’t fall back asleep and was furious. The insensitive cleaning crew woke me up and had no regard for my peace of mind downstairs from where they dragged furniture.

Nice for a motel 6. Front desk lady was giving me attitude for booking on Expedia because she missed out on the commission for my booking.

Everything was great until I heard the way the older lady at the front desk was talking to a cleaning lady. WOW 😮 I'll take my business elsewhere

They were very friendly and accommodating. Cleaning staff did a wonderful job. When i needed to extend my stay they did a great job to get me a great rate.

Sort of difficult to find, parking lot is tucked behind another building. Right off the highway so not walking friendly. Suited my needs, simple room and not too noisy.

We picked this hotel for our quick overnight stay in Ft. Worth and we were pleased. The hotel overall was very nice and clean. Check in was a breeze and our room was nice. Very close to the Stockyards.

I’ve previously stayed at this hotel when in town for NASCAR races at TMS and it’s a very clean, tidy hotel with extremely courteous staff. There are plenty of nice restaurants in the vicinity and access is extremely easy from I-35w & 820. As always, I’ll be staying there in the future when in North Texas for NASCAR racing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

PROS: I had an emergency trip on a weekend and wanted to save a buck. I was not expecting to actually be happy here, but I was pleasantly surprised enough to leave a French review... "Très moderne et frais, et bien mieux que de dormir dans ma voiture!" Of course, it's not the Ritz, but it's far, far better than the old-style Motel 6 of yesteryear! For a quick business trip or budget visit to the area, it's really pretty nice. Well-lighted parking (thanks Tom Bodett!). Clean lobby. Everything in the room actually seemed clean (but I wipe down the stuff I'll touch with germex anyway!). Hard floors make me feel better, and they have 'em. Staff were okay. Nothing extraordinary, but nothing negative either. They did their job well and that was that. CONS: Microfridge is on the floor under a tabletop. There are only towels, toilet paper and sample-size slivers of bar soap in the bathroom. If you hate bar soap like me don't forget your body wash/shampoo and conditioner, etc. Finally, there is NO breakfast. Some cold cereal boxes, granola bars, or even a banana at least would have been nice. The vending selections won;t help much either. Pretty slim, and Pepsi products only if you want a soda. Fortunately you can step to the McDonald's just in front of the motel and have a Coke AND breakfast! But really guys... buy a few bananas and surprise your guests with SOMETHING to eat on their way out! All in all, I'd likely stay here again, and that says something - to me at least!

It was very clean. Unfortunately, I could not take a bath because there was no way to cover the drain. Despite the website we saw, there is no breakfast included.

It is very clean. Shower works great, no water draining issues. Great restaurant a few yards away. Local dinner not franchise.

The property was very clean and several things were updated. Front desk members friendly and helpful. Disappointing not to have some continental breakfast items. Room seemed kind of small. Overall okay for a quick needed overnight stay.
