Smart Extended Stay

Was ok! Motel hard to find! And we requested a ground level room, and personal did not see our online request so took a room downstairs down two flights of stairs. Motel needs an elevator to those 3 levels downstairs. As an elderly couple was hard to manage the stairs and stairway was poorly lite.

So first of all, the price was right. So I didn't expect it to blow me away. Also, the picture of the outside of the property indicates it's a motel with three stories. But our room was on the inside (hotel). Maybe it's both. First thing we noticed was an -overwhelming- smell in the lobby of.. something. We couldn't tell what it was. After some time, I settled on Carpet Fresh. Like a 50 pound jug of it all used at once. It was irritating my nose something awful. When we got in the room, we noticed there was a lot of room for the $70 we paid. A previous job taught me to check the mattress by taking off the sheets to see if there were any bugs and look for stains. I didn't find either, but the mattress was an OLD double pillow top. Pillow on the side that was up, and also on the bottom. It was soft and squishy for a mattress, although sleeping in the middle of the king bed provided an adequate amount of support. The pillows? Nope. Small, and because of the feel of the room, we didn't use them. We usually bring our own, and are glad we did. There was a good sized fridge and a microwave, a desk, small round kitchen style table with two chairs, and a leather(?) recliner. Overall, it could've been cleaner. It wasn't what I'd call dirty, but it also wasn't in the 90% range of clean either. For the price, one could settle for this property. It was less than half the price of the others. No breakfast-not even a coffee pot in the room.

1 building is great. All is easily accessible to food and fuel with many businesses around. Staff is helpful and are open to hear any needs.

The hotel is for low income people who are either homeless or drug users. The rooms are horrible. Very loud all night. The tv was so fussy you couldn't watch. The staff was very rude. The elevator was out of order when questioned the staff got upset. They stated they was waiting for parts but you could tell by the sign it had been down for awhile. I would never recommend this hotel. Will never stay here again.

We didn’t like any of it. No room service at all the whole stay, filthy gross room, stinky sheets ( I made them replace them), during check in, we were told they will not give out extra towels, if we wanted Fresh ones every day to go buy some,moldy shower area. They put us in a housing project behind the main hotel. Very loud people, especially through the night,drug infested as well. We got to talk with two people, very much so drunk or high on something. They filled us in on a whole lot. When we first got there, we asked if we could get another room on the lower level, they said no, take the elevator. The elevator was over a year out of inspection , and totally filthy, and stunk, it stopped working before we left. We asked for that because we were up on the 3rd floor, and the stairs were too munch on my legs, I could hardly use them. They did the same thing to two elderly woman who could hardly walk as it is. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s like we were staying in the hood or something we really didn’t feel safe staying there.

This is a very outdated hotel with absolutely NO AMENITIES!!! They refuse house keeping services to stay overs. Refuse to let you allow to change rooms even though one of my rooms has serious plumbing issues. One of the rooms did NOT even have towels when we checked in. Staff was NOT happy about having to give us towels, was clothes and a bath mat. Pubic and/or beard hairs were found all over the floor and sink. No clean towels are allowed if you’re staying multiple days. The expect you to use the same towel your entire stay. The will NOT give any extra supplies for your room. WORST PLACE TO STAY

No coffee able to be given, which is crazy. Rooms weren’t cleaned. Service check in ends at 8. Not a good place to actually stay. Might as well go somewhere else. Only stay here if you have no where else to go for an extended period of time for cheap. Because most of everything you’ll have to do yourself anyways

Shower liner has mold and mildew in it.staff was friendly.the bathroom was very dirty.you can smell marijuana and people partying at the hotel late at night.bed was not comfortable.the room was clean but the bathroom was not clean

We had a perfectly fine stay here and the staff were very accommodating - not sure why others have rated this place as unsafe. We needed to check in late after the front desk closed at 8 pm, but called ahead and the staff had no issues keeping it open for us. Rooms were clean and we enjoyed the art on the walls that gave a sense of the region's history. We also highly recommend getting breakfast at the Chocolate Moose just down the street - great coffee, sandwiches, and atmosphere!

It was very clean and well maintain! The desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was good, very clean. Friendly staff and check in was quick. I liked the convenience of the restaurants in close proximity.

Upon checking in, we were told that the King beds are unavailable in the main building, but we could stay in the other building which was "not very nice". We decided to take the room with two twin/double beds in the main building. Room was awful. Mold covering the shower curtain, blankets were super thin, and the bathroom floor was slick even when dry. Guests up and down the hallway smoking marijuana. When checking out, no one was manning the desk, so I was unable to get a paper receipt on the way out. By far the worst of the cheap hotels in this area. Beware.

Mold on the tub caulking, cigarette burns in the sink, pieces of pictures from a previous guest thumbtacked to the wall, and no real blanket - simply one of the $5 soft throws you can find a Walmart. The sheets had cigarette burn holes as well. The fitted sheet didn’t fit the bed well and kept sliding off the VERY loud and uncomfortable mattress cover under it. None of the dresser drawers worked and the hangers were covered in dust and cobwebs. This was just an overnight stay to break up a long trip. Had it been anything else, we would not have stayed there, cheap or not. I swear the TV was even an old 32” model, if that big. Updates and a thorough cleaning are sorely needed.

I chose this place because I needed a pet friendly room to keep my cat while I attended a funeral. Sadly, the pet friendly room was also a smoking room, so...yuck!One of the two beds was broken and the wallpaper was falling off. BUT, the room was clean, the check-in staff was very nice and it was cheap so I came in with low expectations.

Enjoyed my stay here. The room hasn't what I was expecting, it looked different than the photos online. It was still comfortable though, especially since I was just passing through. Easy access off the freeway too.

The front desk closed at 8 pm. I could not check in because everyone went home.

No body was there at the moment of the check in, I returned back the next day and the receptionist told me that they can not give me my money back, I wrote to the app for a refund and I had no answer yet! Please give me my money back I do not stay there because no body attends us, I had passed a terrible experience I almost sleep outside of the hotel, fortunately there was a hotel next door otherwise I would sleep in the car, horrible experience I want to get a refund.

They took my resetvation, and was closed when i arrived. Reservation said check in till 11am, took the screen shot to show them but no one was there to help. I have reached out to Hotels.com for assistance

Close to everything

Many restaurants right there. Right off highway. CVS and Kroger too. Decent low cost place and I would use again.
