The property is in a good location. Close to I-94. The pool has been closed for awhile so if you’re taking kids that is not available

The pool was not usable. We were very disappointed as that was one of the reasons we stayed there. The coffee in lounge was good.

Wonderful choice! The room is large and bed comfortable. Best walk-in shower ever! Not much outside noise, you are away from traffic flow. Pool was a perfect size. Lobby large and inviting. Parking is easy and not much walking is required.

Staff was excellent. Very welcoming and attentive. We did swim in the pool one night and there were clumps of hair that was a little gross, but it was towards the end of the night and there could have been a lot of people in and out during the day. Would definitely recommend despite of this ans stay again.

We are on a cross america road trip and have been staying at different hampton inns every night. We ar with a 3 year old so the pool is a requirement as we use it to tire her out. This pool was so cold she wouldnt go in and we had been swimming at all of the hotels prior. It was cold like lake water and not able to be enjoyed. Our room also had clear water damage all through the bathroom as the walls were curling about a foot up. Otherwise it was fine and as expected but we wont chose to stay here again.

Easy check in, room was Very clean, pool was ok-smaller, breakfast was good, and check out easy. Bed was a little too hard for my liking. I’m used to something a bit softer. Would recommend staying here.

I liked that the room had a microwave and I liked the front desk staff. I really didn't like the breakfast staff because they weren't friendly at all. Also, the pool was closed the whole time I was there and the internet kept going down, so I had to go to the nearest Starbucks in order to get my work done!

Very clean and friendly staff.. bummer was pool was closed and due to making revisions through a 2 party Hotels.com we did know know tell we checked in but the staff did let us know right away that the pool was colsed.

The elevator was broken for a few hours but other than that it was fine. The breakfast was nice and they didn’t run out of items.

The overall stay was good. My girlfriend and I have stayed here many times and like the hotel but there is a lack of storage in the rooms and our room didn’t come with an extra blanket, which isn’t great when it’s very cold out. I would recommend the hotel for short stays, like for business use and not for long stays or for families looking for a lot of amenities. The breakfast service is good and I enjoyed using their gym. It’s a nice hotel overall.

This hotel is like 2 steps above any Hampton Inn I've ever been to. Exceptional staff, amenities and cleanliness put it head and shoulders above the rest. I love how convenient it is for getting to all of our favorite spots in the area. Our new go-to place the next time we are in town !!

Extremely clean property in a safe quiet area with good shopping & dining nearby

We loved every feature of this hotel EXCEPT that it seems someone had been smoking in our room. We are nonsmokers and had reserved a nonsmoking room. When we arrived there was an odd odor, like someone had tried to cover up smoking, but we were so tired after driving all day that we just went to sleep. We didn't realize the stench seeped into all of our luggage after just one night. We literally wound up having to buy new clothing on vacation because we couldn't stand the cigarette smoke on our clothes. Apart from this really disappointing and expensive experience, the hotel is absolutely pristine. Lovely breakfast, clean room (if you hold your breath), friendly staff, one of the most comfortable beds I ever slept in. It is heartbreaking to say this would have been the best experience of any Minneapolis area hotel I have used BUT FOR THE LASTING STENCH THAT MADE ME BUY A NEW WARDROBE. I hope they fined the previous guest for smoking as it really caused some serious damage.

Clean property and away from the business of downtown.

I’ve stayed here before and had a clean room. However on my second stay the room smelled like urine. I asked to be placed in a different room as I had runny nose for the first day but was told they couldn’t accommodate. I didn’t realize it was open to pets. They should deep clean the carpet more frequently. It was disgusting.

Room wasn't properly clean, and on final night of stay ran out of toilet paper & needed more towels but was not able to get ahold of any staff at night time. Called multiple times and went down multiple times, there was no one to be found.

Our room was nice, but we had no wifi and had to get moved to a different room that did have wifi. It seemed to be a known entity that the room they first gave us did not have wifi. Then, we had NO hot water in the morning. Final straw was somehow the hotel did not have our reservation for a second night (booked two weeks out from stay and already paid for on Expedia.) After an hour of trying to navigate the error on the hotel's part, we were told our room was sold out and we'd have to downgrade or leave. VERY frustrating. Expedia refunded us, and we ended our stay early.

Did not get the 2 Queen bed room I had booked months in advance. They told me they had none left. Why would you give away a room someone reserved months in advance? This defeats the whole purpose of a reservation. My friend had to sleep on the couch. They did off money off the room which I did appreciate. The TV was not working. When we reported it they said someone could come look at it by 12am but if not, they would offer an additional discount. No one came so we reported it the next day and they did fix it. Shower head was not working properly and they did come fix it. All the staff were very kind and friendly. The hotel was clean. Housekeeping would always smile and greet you in the hall. They never did come for housekeeping in our room, however, but that was not a big deal as we only had a 2 night stay. Breakast was pretty good and a lot of nice seating availability which is rare at many other hotels. What really frustrated me is I mentioned the additional discount offered over the TV issue when I checked out and she offered $20 off to which I agreed. As I went to leave she had me come back and recharged me the $20. She argued I already had the discount applied. I tried explaining that was the original discount for the room mishap, and the TV discount was a separate issue and she kept insisting it was already applied. When I looked at my receipt, it had not been applied so she took the $20 and recharged what I was supposed to have discounted.

The room seem to be very updated and clean. The halls look like they had new carpeting and paint. The room was nicely appointed had everything you need.. The bed was very comfy and the linens seemed very fresh. The breakfast was very nice. All of the usual fair and very tasty. No complaints.

The convenience for everything! The staff was terrific and very friendly. The room was very comfortable and the beds were amazing. I loved everything about it🙂

We didn't like the shampoo/conditioner. We were afraid to use it because it's refillable. Anyone could pur something in there. The king bedroom was small. I could hear people walking in the hallways The breakfast was good.

RE: Room 313 The tub/shower shows its age. Chips in tub and faucet handle “gerry rigged.” It works but confusing at first. Bed near window sagged towards the middle. Otherwise hotel is beautiful and staff was very helpful and friendly.

Room was very warm with no way to cool it down as the air conditioner was not working properly.

Television did not work. Front desk said they were not able to fix it. Asked for new room and was told that was not an option.

Front desk staff was excellent!

Very unfriendly check in hostess. Stayed 2 nights and did not receive housekeeping to change sheets or deliver fresh towels. Called front desk who informed us that since we booked through Expedia we did not qualify for daily housekeeping??? would have been nice to have been told about his ahead of time ! It was not made clear in anywhere on hotel or Expedia website. Poor security at the front desk which allowed a very drunk or otherwise impaired man to jump into our elevator which was very scary. He obviously walked right by the front desk staff and should have been stopped right there. It was so apparent he was not stable. We felt very unsafe. I would never stay here again !! Emailed the hotel directly about these issues 2 days ago and no reply !

check in was 300 pm. We arrived at 305pm. The person at the desk asked if I was there to check in. We were then ignored until after 330pm. Apparently, the property was still being cleaned. If we had been told this, it would have been much easier than being ignored. Also, the bill was over the price quoted. Sorry this had to happen.

This property is well-kept and managed. It's been recently renovated so everything about it is lovely. The location is very convenient to a variety of food, shopping and major throughfares, but is also safe, quiet, ample parking and has a walking path. Staff is responsive and very helpful. Breakfast is what you would expect from Hampton, yet it would be nice to have more variety than the same baked goods, fruit (bananas, please), flavors of yogurt, etc. every day - I was there for three days. I also missed the usual hardboiled eggs as did others asking for them. Other than that, this location will be my go-to when I visit my mom in the area (I have stayed at two other Hampton Inn locations nearby).

We were in town for surgery for one of our dogs. The hotel accommodated both dogs including a later checkout for when our blood discharged after surgery. So every time we are here the staff is super friendly and the hotel is always clean. Highly recommend!

After dealing with a flight cancellation, the front desk representative was a dream to work with and she resolved my booking issue.

The staff was amazing and accommodating. We were in town unexpectedly due to family emergency and the staff were kind, incredibly helpful and the ammenities were appreciated so we could focus on our loved one. Highly recommend and if back in the area will definitely stay here again. Our pup was allowed with a minimal fee.

The hotel was nice, the breakfast was great. It was just sad then when we checked in , or tried to thevrroom w as nt ready. There was about 5 people waiting for room. They did apologize

It was conveniently located next to the Oak Marsh Golf Course where my niece was getting married, It had good reviews so we utilized this hotel for all of my family that came up from Ohio

The property was clean and freshly renovated. Close proximity to dining and shopping.

HVAC system didn’t seem to adjust very well. Seemed to me that the split wall unit had a draft from outside. And the shower adjustment was difficult dial on since the temperature control dial was at a minimum 10 feet from the shower head. The first day the breakfast subpar. No plates. No milk. Two of the juice choices were not available.

Started a little rocky-one bed in our room (2 queen bed) was unmade, the requested crib was missing, and the door was propped open. It appeared that the room wasn’t fully ready, and when we went down to check with front desk there was some confusion between housekeeping & front desk. But it all got squared away by housekeeping manager quickly, and the rest of the stay was very enjoyable. Breakfast in the morning was AMAZING, with many options to choose from. There was plenty of seating in their lobby/guest area, even for our large family group. Staff was very pleasant. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but did peek at it-looked very nice, kept up, and clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast has fewer options than in the past. Items were not replenished quickly if at all. Trash cans were full.

Breakfast options were not great at all. Front desk staff wasn’t great on check-in. Lady was very concerned about talking on her cell phone. Front staff at check-out were great! Property is in amazing condition. Good location!

Shower sucked, extremely liemited breakfast

The breakfast was terrible. They had cereal but no milk to eat it with or drink. They had sausage patties and burned bacon but no eggs. They had only 2 muffins, stale bagels and bread for toast. They had only oranges for fruit. It was very disappointing.

I visit the Twin Cities area semi-regularly (3-5 times per year). This is the overall best hotel I have found for overall comfort & breakfast options.
