A very enjoyable hike is accessed right on the property. The woodsy path goes up a small hill with a view of the lake. The room itself was nothing special, a bit pricy for the condition....but that is the going rate for this area. It and other similar properties were sold out. If available, I would suggest getting the top floor as you could hear every footstep of occupants above.The hike after a long drive made it worth it. Also, the woman at he reception was very friendly and welcoming.

The hotel was very nice, pool was very clean and water perfect! The room was nice, neat and clean, perfect setup, will not disappoint. Tucked away in the woods, across from the lake, just a few mins from town, we thought was great!

This is a very quaint, no frills, rustic place. Outside entrances to rooms, 2 story no elevator. Wall unit ac was noisy. Room and bathroom were clean, small but well appointed. There was an outdoor pool but we didn't use it.

The lady in the lobby was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. They allowed pets so that was a big factor in choosing this Inn. It was also very close to the town for shopping and carry out food.

The room looks nice, but has a persistent smell of animal urine. My guess is the old carpet has been urinated on by pets many tiimes. If they are going to allow animals, they need to keep some rooms that are pet free. The air conditioner has visible mold in fins, so it was not an option to turn that on to help with foul smell. Staff here was amazingly helpful and other than the animal urine smell, the room and furnishings were nice.

Positive: Very friendly staff, room was clean, great location. Negative: close to main road so lots of traffic noise, bathtub had latex paint peeling which made it slippery, pool railing was loose for anyone who needed to use it, myself included, they do not offer a discount to vets which i find wrong, towel rack in the bathroom was loose and toilet kept running when flushed. Nothing terrible just annoying little things.

Reception was great. The room was great. The bed was super comfortable, the only improvement I would suggest is a little added care to the cleanliness when it comes to a few cobwebs and mosquitoes coming in through the window screens. That being said, it was a minor issue however, I would stay here again.

My room was very dated but it was very clean. The bed mattresses are very old so comfort was great. My biggest issue was the walls are paper this and you can hear everything from your neighbors. I do mean everything.

Moose Mountain Inn was a great place to stay. Great location and easy to find. Rooms were pretty large and very clean. View was rustic but unable to see Moosehead Lake due to tree coverage. Would definitely recommend.

A very good value for this area, that has limited accommodations. The one reservation was the sound proofing between rooms. We could hear loud talking and a TV after 10 PM next door and opted for cotton balls in our ears.

The location and charming lodge decor really made this a great place for our family’s stay. We wanted to search for moose, and the man in the office was super helpful in guiding us to hot spots, and although we didn’t see any our rooms were so clean, cute and comfortable that we still had a wonderful time. It was very nice for shopping and dining to be out of the center of town yet not inconvenient at all to get there, while just far away enough to enjoy the beauty and stillness of the region. Everyone on staff was very friendly! If we ever make it back this way we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Excellent hotel! The room had a cozy outdoor feel and was extremely clean - bed and pillows were comfy. And Brad at the front desk was excellent - so helpful with sharing info on the area (grocery stores, restaurants, etc).

We only stayed for one night. We got in late after going on a moose tour nearby, staff was great about us getting in late. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. The staff was very friendly when we checked out and gave us coupons for free coffee at a local coffee shop. A convenient place to stay with very nice staff.
