Walmart actoss the street, some fas5 food nearby and the Ice Castles 25 minute drive. Jetted tubs in both our rooms, a game room and a toasty hot tub at a super affordable price. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Very friendly staff too!!! We will be back.

Room was very small. Not much facilities in the lodge. Not sure why they collect resort fee while the place looks a bit run down. Gym equipment were broken. Sauna was not open due to dirt issues

It's popular with the motorcycle crowd. Someone there was banging on his bike for hours trying to fix it. He had some help from other riders. There is an outdoor pool (filled with kids) and a separate indoor hot tub in the rec room (no kids). The gym equipment is very old. Rec room has microwave, spare fridge, couches, air hockey table and a tv for which I wasn't able to find a remote. It's not so much a "lodge", more like a motel. There are regular motel rooms and a few fancier loft-type rooms, which I didn't know about. Walmart down the street closes 11pm, Rite Aid across street closes 6pm, there's 1 restaurant across the street. Break room next to office open 24 hours, can make coffee or tea. Fridge and microwave in room. Cable TV, not many spare outlets for phone charging - had to break out my extension cord. Dated motel located in a very beautiful area. Okay for an overnight stay.

It was a pleasantly rustic. Large and clean rooms. Nice pool and yard area and cute tuck away area for the hot tub and gym. The property grounds were inviting. A microwave and a refrigerator in the room however no coffee in room. Coffee in a common area at the hotel. we stay there again. Good value for the price.

We liked the massive log structure. Hot tub looked inviting, but we arrived after it closed @ 10 PM. Shiloh restaurant is across the street.

The lady who checked us in was extremely friendly and offered good travel information. Also brochures were available for local info. Room was very clean & spacious with lots of amenities. It had a cozy/warm atmosphere and we loved the cabin atmosphere. Lots of great parking!

The first room we had was dirty run down and noisy. The desk clerk was awesome and moved us to a better room. The property was pretty run down, dirty and cigarette butts everywhere. They should definitely have a smoking area.

Cute little rustic lodge. Loved the pool table and hot tub. Pool was good. Full sized beds are too small for my husband and me. If the bed under the a/c unit was moved to where the desk is, might be more comfortable. The carpet needs shampooing. My feet got black after my shower, and my hands got black after searching for a dropped watchband pin. It’s rustic but worked ok for our flexible family in three rooms. I had forgotten about the $2 resort fee collected at the hotel which seems a little silly but no huge deal. Breakfast fast food nearby. Parking good. Lots to do in the area. Second floor walk up but parking available on that level.

Outside rug torn with black mold. Game room only had 1 game - beds were lumpy and smelled of cigarettes(non smoking room). Could have had potential-outdated -personally reached out to Nootka Lodge-no response

Overall good stay. We were in a 2 bedroom family suite which served our needs. The Lodge was decorated for Fall and looked super cute. Quiet. Had a gameroom and hottub . Cocoa beside the front desk. Improvements would be a better door or more soundproof efforts between bedrooms. The door did not fully close off the area between rooms and if anyone got up to flip on the tv, go to the bathroom, etc, it created a sound issue in both rooms. No washer/dryer on the premises which would have been handy. No baking sheets for the oven. We stayed two days and came in after a long day out to find a cold room as someone had entered and turned off the heat. :( . Also there was a sign posted not to use the fireplace, but it seems they were renovating it. No great angles to view televisions from a couch. Had to sit on beds to view either one.

It rained so we couldn’t take advantage of the outdoor spaces but they looked lovely. The chairs in the room badly needed updating- thin cushions on plywood—and the beds were quite soft but overall the room was charming in a rustic way and very spacious.

Nice rooms, good location. My only gripe is that out of a three night stay, my room was only cleaned on the first day. No cleaning or even trash removal for the next two days. The place was quiet though. I would stay again if traveling through the area in the future.

Very nice lodge overall. My only issue were barely tepid shower water and a smoke/carbon monoxide detector that gave off a low battery alert in the middle of the night. This is a small operation, so no one was available when I called the front desk. I was able to disconnect the unit (still beeping with the high pitch of a smoke alarm) and dropped it in the key return box at the office where the noise wouldn't bother others. When went to check out and drop my keys off, the detector was not in the box. I went into the office (about 9-10AM) and no one was around so I dropped my keys off. I never heard from the office regarding the incident. I left two messages in the night trying to trouble shoot. The place seems great, other than lack of hot shower water and what seems like kind of a slip in customer service. The detector was dated 2014 - 9 years old at the time of this writing. It was likely a fluke, but hopefully this will get the attention of the very nice person who checked me in that the other detectors, if part of this batch, while also likely start doing the same.

Checkin was easy and smooth. Only issue was about miscommunication about pets. We called again and explained about small dog. They advised it was no problem and a small fee involved. So we brought a 6 lb. Chihuahua. We went to event and less than 30 minutes after we left, we got a call at 4:30pm. Unfortunately we were rushed out of the event to which we paid $300 for and came back to hotel. Had this been 9pm, I would’ve understood but 4:30pm? The staff was nice about it and called, but felt it was probably a bit early to call if they ok’d doggies. Beds and room were clean. Lot of good food around and nice people.

This establishment is a gem! The reasonable rates, quiet setting, great family-owned dining nearby really made our short stay in the NH/VT area easy. With Stowe so close, but prices much higher, we are so glad that we made this choice. Wal-Mart, Shaw's Grocery, Tuttle's Family Diner, Iron Rail Pub, and Shiloh's are all highlights for making our trip enjoyable. The Nootka staff were all very friendly with easy check-in and check-out!

We had a wonderful stay at Nootka Lodge! We went to a concert at Lake Morey and stayed about 25 minutes away at Nootka Lodge. The next day we took a 40 min drive through the National Forest and visited the Flume Gorge. Fantastic stay. Room suited our needs and everything was very clean. Thank you!!

Property is what you would expect for a lodge. It’s older, but it’s clean and has character. Unfortunately it was raining during my stay, so didn’t check out the entire grounds. Would definitely stay here again.

This establishment is a gem! The reasonable rates, quiet setting, great family-owned dining nearby really made our short stay in the NH/VT area easy. We are so glad we stayed at Nootka Lodge. Front desk was lovely. Our room was so cute! Felt just like a rustic cabin. We loved the game room. Shiloh’s restaurant is right across the street and it is delicious. If you’re looking for a late night snack though, you will not find one.

We enjoyed the setting and warm atmosphere of the lodge. The beds were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. There are several options for dining in town. There is also a WalMart in town should you need to restock for your travels. Would definitely stay here again!
