When we tried to take a shower at night, there was no hot water, so I consulted the front desk, but they said they would have someone check it out tomorrow and that they couldn't help us today. Even if they checked out after we checked out, there would be no benefit to us.

When we checked in Thursday night, the desk clerk did not mention there was no hot water. Friday morning when we wanted to take a shower and there was no hot water. I called the front desk and the clerk acted like it was a new problem and he would "check to see if maintenance was in to check on it." That was deception in my book. I found out from other guests afterward, there was no hot water early Thursday night and there were people complaining to the front desk about the problem then. No follow up was offered after my call. I checked later in person and the desk clerk only said, "I'm sorry." During breakfast, there was a room full of people in the breakfast area, and many were mentioning the lack of hot water in their rooms. When I asked again about the issue upon checkout asking to speak to someone in charge, I was told there was no one to talk to. I left my number for the manager to call me, but no call happened. We've stayed at this facility almost annually since it was built. Service has noticeably deteriorated since those early days. This was likely our last visit.

Very comfortable room, clean, pool was clean, friendly and helpful staff. This is beside a shopping complex but sits far enough away from any noise. WalMart, restaurants, a grocery store and other convenient stores are right there for any needs you may have.

Everything was excellent except for horrible smell outside near the pool. I'm pretty sure it was the dumpster. The smell was overwhelming. Other than that, everything was great. Will definitely stay again.

The bed was really comfortable and the room looked clean, but the bathroom had some reddish goo in the corners. The soap dispensers did not work properly. The remote did not work, the clock was an hour fast, The clock had parts of the display burned out. The place was called Holiday Inn Express, but there was nothing express about either evening when I stood at the counter waiting to get waited on. Checking in, there was a lady who had paid for 2 rooms on her credit card, and had the documentation to prove it, but the hotel only had her down for one, so that was at least 20 min go round before I just sat down and waited. Second night was a lokg wait at the counter( had to sit down again) just to get batteries for the remote.

The floors and walls do seem to be kinda thin, that’s my only complaint. Breakfast was excellent and those ladies keep up with it to maintain it staying clean and tidy and fully stocked. Fresh cinnamon rolls, hardboiled eggs, veggie omelets, cheese omelets, regular pork sausage and turkey sausage, bread options, juice options and the coffee machine was pretty awesome! Hottest coffee I’ve ever had I think! Parking was easy, access to the doors were close to veichle. I would stay here again.

Very happy we chose this hotel tonight. Exactly what we needed after a long day on the road. Nicole was great at front desk. Our room is wonderful- very clean,quiet with really comfortable bed! Dinner at a nearby Restaurant. Even a Keurig for morning coffee! Right off 301 too!

The front desk staff was very welcoming & helpful. Everything was very clean. I did think that the bed linen had an odor to them that didn’t smell very fresh. My first morning, housekeeping knocked on my door at 9 AM. I told them I would be @ another hour, to which she responded, “We won’t be here in an hour!!” So she told me to take my towels to the front desk if I needed clean ones, but I didn’t need to. It was great: clean and spacious with friendly staff. Unfortunately. our microwave started smoking. I was standing right there, waiting for the 20 second reheat. I immediately unplugged it and reported it to the front desk in person. I was told it would be replaced or we would be moved, Neither happened. I left it unplugged when we checked out. I hope it is fixed before a fire occurs.

Good breakfast every morning. Excellent coffee. Staff was very nice. Clean rooms. Our room was cleaned every day and I asked for extra towels and they were there every morning. Fresh towels every morning. We will stay there again when we’re back in town.
