My daughter and I pulled up to this hotel at 8pm last night after having driven 800 miles from Denver. As I approached the door, I noticed the hotel was dark and there was a sign on the door saying they were closed with no power. The hotel had apparently been without power for days and we received no notification or refund at all. I found out from an open hotel down the street that every hotel in a 40 mile radius was full due to a power outage. I was able to book another hotel 40 miles away and spent all night on the phone with hotels.com just to get my money refunded. I understand that things happen, but they should have notified us immediately and offered a refund. Terrible customer service!!

Great hotel. Clean, good breakfast and nice and friendly staff. My problem was the lack of communication between Hotels. Com and Holiday Inn. Hotel didn’t get payment and wanted me to pay them before letting us check in even though they had my confirmation from Hotels.com. After being on hold for 35 minutes with Hotels.com everything got straightened out ( a payment problem on Hotels.com side) we finally got checked in.

The hotel was like new, clean, rooms were modern, and most importantly, the shower had great water pressure! Call out to the staff who were friendly and helpful. One cold winter morning, our rental car windshield covered in ice, we didn't have a scraper, but they had one at the front desk to save our day.

Came in late (around 11:45 pm). Lori at the desk was super friendly and got us checked in quickly. Our room was nice, cool, and clean. Breakfast was well organized and tasted pretty good. 10/10 will stay here again

Rafael, who checked us in, was a fantastic host! He was friendly, polite, and super-helpful, whether giving the 5 of us extra towels/blankets, brewing fresh coffee for the lobby, or recommending a wonderful restaurant nearby (Lily's Diner). Breakfast was delicious, room was clean, comfortable, and very spacious. 10/10!

I stayed here for only one night and I got a phone call from front desk at 11.25 pm asking me to come to the front desk (I was sleeping at this time ) when I asked why, the front desk person told me they did not take my credit card so I need to bring there my credit card. I was so upset as I was sure that they took my card (you just know the routine at this point when you go to hotel). I asked her if she was serious that she wanted me to come to front desk with my pjs and on. She said yes but when I told her I cannot do it she said ok we can do it in the morning, then when I sent to the front desk to check the lady there told me they fixed it. Of course it was difficult to sleep and also the fridge was extremely noisy , the AC unit had some kind of issue that I tried to ignore. I will make sure not to stay there again.

Major issue was a mexican cleaning lady. As I am walking down the through the front after checking out, I dropped some change. I heard this laughing as I am picking the coins up off the floor. She is staring directly at me just letting loose laughing. It was me because there was no one else around. I asked her if I was able to make her day, but of course she didn't speak a word of English... Don't give them your money. Walking out I was thinking how rude it was, but realized this is where we are at today. I travel around a little over a hundred days a year on the road. This is a first, but probably will try and move on with another hotel chain. Front desk could have cared less, and they were just around the corner.
