I was very impressed with the cleanliness, size of the room, and help from the front desk on check in. The only disappointment was the rooftop bar's "winter hours", where they are closed Monday to Wednesday - the days of my stay. However, I won't hesitate to stay here again the next time I visit the Tri-Cities.

Very nice hotel, the staff was amazingly friendly. The rooftop bar was really fun as it was karaoke night. We ate at Vivian’s Table, which was right next door and visited the Country Music History museum which was just two doors down.

This is a great, highly rated hotel but the services are limited. There is no room service. If you order food from the restaurant you get to eat it out of styrofoam boxes and plastic utensils. Hard to eat the steak or chops. Parking is poor as well. I would not want my family having to park across the road a half block away from hotel. I just do not think it is safe, especially at night and with the homeless people in the area. I like the hotel but there are better options in Bristol.

Excellent hotel. Furnishings, fixtures, bedding, mattress, shower were all high quality. Very clean. I liked the firm mattress and the fluffy pillows. I enjoyed watching dozens of geese and goslings parade down the street from my window. I stayed on a Wednesday night and it was very quiet. I had breakfast which was pricey but the food was top notch. The only drawback is the parking. It's curbside or in a lot across the street only (plenty of spots available). That would have been a deal breaker for me had I known. Still, I am glad that I stayed here and I will probably return. I also highly recommend the hotel to my coworkers in spite of the parking. Very modern feel.

The rooms are nicely appointed and definitely a great value for the money. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the private guest party on the rooftop to watch Independence Day fireworks. However, since our first stay 2 years ago, the area immediately surrounding the hotel seems to have become a homeless hangout; I would not feel safe going out alone after dark. Also, the rooms are getting dusty in the higher spots. My family is unusually tall so we can see the build up on light fixtures and trim. Even with all that said, we will gladly stay there again and recommend the property to any who ask.

Shockingly fabulous! The rooms, staff & food are exceptional. The decor is top notch & all parts of the room are well thought through using high end materials. Everything is spotless. The roof top bar/restaurant is bright, airy, and comfortable with a good view & the menu has a nice variety with fresh ingredients. The hotel is chic & conveniently located.

Overall excellent hotel. The bathroom design was awkward. Bathroom itself was very roomy but shower stall was unnecessarily tiny. Couldn't even bend over to shave legs, had limited space to set shampoo, et al, and had no curb with a curtain that did not cover bottom so floor in remainder of bathroom got very wet, even with mat.

This hotel is spectacular, just beyond describable. It’s so wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The staff is like family to everyone. The downstairs restaurant is one of the best meals we’ve had in the state of Tennessee and we’ve lived here 10 years. I can’t wait to go back.

So pleased with our stay! Comfy room with a great rainfall shower and robes. Friendly staff and so close to downtown Bristol! Restaurant was excellent for breakfast and checkout was a breeze. The only downside was that the walls seemed thin as we could hear the room next to us talking, doors slamming at the nighttime. Will definitely be staying here again should we find ourselves back in Bristol! Also recommend checking out the Michael Waltrip Brewery that is walkable from the hotel.

Hotel is nice. The room was great. Parking and service, not so great. There seems to be a lack of employees at this hotel. In the hotel itself, I have never seen more than one employee at a time. The front desk agent was making a reservation when I tried to check-in and I had to stand there for 5-6 minutes waiting. If you do not arrive early to get a parking spot on the street in front of the hotel then you have to park one block away across a busy street. There are many homeless persons in this area. I would not want my wife, Mother, or even my Grandfather walking this distance in these conditions. I am sorry that these humans are homeless, I am, but it just makes me feel unsafe.

The morning before we arrived I received a email telling me that the parking lot was being used for another event and we had o park on street, if I had of known I may have stayed elsewhere also the woman checking us in was not very informative about wifi passwords etc. We proceeded to the elevator and couldn’t get the elevator to work so went back to the front desk,and then she told us that we needed to use our room key card on a black box in the elevator. Besides all these things the room was great and the hotel was within walking distance for us to eat at a restaurant we wanted to go to, overall everything else was ok.

Room was ok, updated and pretty. Both staff at front desk were rude and unfriendly. At check in we were told it was ok to park in a no parking area because it was not enforced. Panhandlers harrassed us when we went outside the hotel. Disappointing experience.

The location is great, with a museum, a bakery, live music, and shows all nearby. The property itself has a great rooftop bar and very good food in the restaurant downstairs. It is extra safe for women travelling alone. The elevators cannot be activated without a key card for your floor, and the front desk make a point to know who is a guest in their hotel. I really feel a special layer of security because of the people. The hotel staff at the Bristol are second to none. One night I had to get to bed early for an early appointment, but the people in the room next to me had their t.v. on, not loud but I hear everything. I called the front desk to get earplugs, but Cindy offered to move me to a room on another floor where there weren't any occupied rooms around me. She even helped me with my bags. I got great sleep and I owe it to Cindy and her considerate kindness. Thanks!

LOVE BRISTOL AND THIS WAS OUR FIRST STAY AT THE BRISTOL HOTEL. THE DESK CLERK WAS GREAT, I THINK HIS NAME WAS SAM, SAW HIM SEVERAL TIMES DURING OUR STAY AND HE WAS ALWAYS FRIENDLY. THE HOTEL IS RIGHT IN TOWN AND NEAR LOTS OF LOCAL WATERING HOLES.

It was nice to pull up in front of the Bristol Hotel for the check in process. The large entry doors give a grandeur feel as you enter the quaint reception area. The check in process was informative and the receptionist answered our questions about local businesses. The hotel was very clean and the decor was modern retro. The room was well appointed with great toiletries and the bedding was good quality. It would be nice to have a mirror for makeup in the room. Vivian’s restaurant offers superb food and nice service. The LUMAC rooftop bar was a great atmosphere and offered a good selection of cocktails. We would definitely return to this hotel and the quaint town of Bristol.

Hotel is clean and wonderful and usual. The staff always goes above and beyond. We had left some important receipts in our room on our last stay and the staff retrieved them and had them waiting on us at checkout this time. Also, the line to the restaurant was busy when trying to order breakfast, and the front desk person took it up on himself to get our order and walk it over to the restaurant for us! You just can't beat the location or the staff at this hotel!

"Grand Hotel," for the area, very nice but somewhat dark and dated. Did not see any casual / less expensive dining options when we arrived about 7 PM and did not feel safe walking through dimly lit and empty alley ways and streets according to the very general directions given to find alternative dining venues.
