Perfect weekend getaway for my wife’s birthday weekend. Clean, comfy, clean and plenty of outside patio’s with gas fire pits to take the evening chill away. Great Host’s.

Comfy,cozy bed and breakfast in a convenient, walkable location. Tasty, home cooked breakfast and a happy hour at 5pm with snacks and a wine or beer on the house. We stayed one night after a trip to see the bald eagles at the Conowingo Dam,which is about 20 minutes away.

It was a wonderful place for a wedding. It was all very well planned out. (Wedding and Reception) I little difficult for wheelchairs. Although they did have a ramp for wedding and reception. No elevators.

Our trip would have been ruined if Brie had not been on duty on Sunday. She was kind and understanding. As far as pet friendly goes, I would say more pet tolerant. Dogs aren’t allowed in the main hose or on the porch. They are supposed to be put in a crate that you are required to provide while you shower or sleep. Finally, they are never to be left alone in the room, crated or not. That is NOT pet friendly.

It is a very interesting property. The complex consists of several buildings with different room types. The staff is super friendly and helpful.The only advice I can give is : When checking in make sure there no events scheduled while you are there.We were there three days and had no access to the restaurant (which were looking forward to ) because of private parties!

The Inn is beautiful with a picturesque front porch and an amazing backyard for events that includes 2 amazing gas firepits. The breakfasts were made to order and our room ( O' Neil) was gorgeous with a working fieplace and private bath. Located in historic area and close to shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel in a great location (5 blocks to the newly opened Market Street Brewery, which was great). We had both rooms on the second floor of the Murphy House. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

There were a lot of spiders and stink bugs in the room, but besides that your service was amazing ,the food was great, and the bed was super comfortable. I would definitely come back !

A wonderful stay at this Bed & Breakfast! My room (Rodgers) was spacious (bigger than what I thought from the pictures), very clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom had a bathtub and a spacious double shower. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. It was very close to the Promanade and Washington Street shops. I would stay there again!!!

We stayed in the Kent bldg, Vandiver room. Loved the room, large and spacious and comfortable. It was very hot during our visit and the A/C was wonderful and kept us comfortable. The bathroom was large with a jet tub / shower combo. The breakfasts were excellent every morning, and the staff friendly and helpful at all times. Highly recommend a visit!

The Inn is a charming property with each room offering unique decor and options. We stayed in the Vandiver Room; loved the ecoflame and extremely comfortable bed. Staff was so friendly and helpful; coffee is outstanding. The area offers much in the way of both natural beauty as well as shops, restaurants and sight seeing.

Very nice property and excellent innkeeper. Lovely setting for a wedding. And appreciated having breakfast included with the stay and the complimentary wine for our anniversary. Unfortunately, had to wake up innkeeper in middle of night when our room became very stuffy and there was no way for us to turn on air. Although many might enjoy the foam mattress topper, it made the bed too soft for us.

We loved staying in the Vandiver room with its king-size bed and jacuzzi bathtub for two. The property is lovely inside and out. We walked to dinner down on the river. The bathtub/shower can be hard to enter and exit for someone with mobility issues.

We had a wonderful stay at the Vandiver Inn. Bobbi was wonderful and had great recommendations. Breakfast was delicious. The managers reception was unexpected but very much appreciated! Hoping to come back in the fall!

Such a great boutique hotel. Great location and can walk to the cute shops and restaurants in the quaint little town. We stayed in the Kent House and was lovely with a fireplace, a big jetted tub and a comfortable bed. Enjoyed the hot breakfast the next morning. I can’t wait to stay again

This is our third time staying at the Vandiver Inn. We discovered it on a trip and used it as a stopover to break up a long drive, and it has become one of our favorite stops. The staff is pleasant and helpful, and the rooms are spacious. Guests are welcomed with a glass of wine in the evening. The included breakfast is delicious and made to order. We will definitely return!

Beautiful, quaint, historic, lovely owners. Breakfast could have been a little more ellegant and varried. Most B&B's i have been to have really nice place settings, breakfast is served at the table including coffee, juice, fresh cut fruit, a couple choices around eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes, quiche, etc. The breakfast was definitely premade and warmed up, not made to order, there was never fresh cut fruit, i would bet the biscuit came from a can and was warmed up. It wasn't bad, just unexpected. Staff was wonderful though the could have been a little neater. TV was problematic but the syaff did all they could to make it work.
