Great place for families. Awesome pool. Pricey food though!

The indoor pool area was closed but it wasnt listed on the website or at check-in. We went for the pools, so this was very upsetting. Paid a lot for half of it to be closed. Power outages resort wide. Missing room amenities that were listed on the website. We had high hopes. But not sure if we would return..

Pools were way over crowded with convention goers and pool area was not staffed adequately. Sports bar service was friendly but food took a long time to come out and was just average. Property is beautiful and would consider coming again not during peak times.

We came for the pool. My girls loved it and the year round heated outdoor pool was unexpextected. Indoor pool was clean and there was enough seating. The snack bar was understaffed but it was a monday. We will be back, a bit pricey, but worth it if you have kids.

The place definitely felt like a luxury resort. Very clean and upscale looking rooms and common spaces. Plenty of on property restaurants, and gathering places. Indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, sizeable fitness center, and plenty of (albeit expensive) parking. Paying for self-parking would be my only complaint. It should be free or cheaper. Even with that though, it was definitely a 5-star stay in my book

Paying for parking is insain when u rent a room

Beautiful property. The staff were very friendly. I noticed that the lifeguards were very good about patrolling and counting how many people were in the water.

The property is nice, but the whole reason we came to this property was for my 9 yr old to enjoy the pool facilities. Little did we know that they had closed the indoor pool/slides as well as the lower lodge. We were very disappointed that we didn’t know this until 24 hrs before we checked in and had to follow links in the email to discover the closures. Honestly if we had known we would have chosen another Gaylord property. The staff and property otherwise was great, it just put a huge damper on our plans to enjoy the pool and slides.

We have stayed here before and as always, enjoyed. For this last trip, it would have been nice to disclose the construction. It’s misleading because we booked because we thought the area would be open. That’s part of the experience. We did not have to stay as we were here for a Dance competition for my daughter. However, I would not have booked had known that area was closed. We are scheduled to be there again this July (already booked) for my daughter’s 10th Birthday, but we are now aware the main area may be closed, and that’s fine. But this last weekend was somewhat of a disappointment because that was not the expectation, nor was it put out there.

Room was dirty upon checking in- cups left in room from prior guests.

Our stay was excellent, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were great, there is sooo much for kids and families to do together. However, upon entering our room it was immediately noticeable that the room hadn’t been cleaned properly with food still in the fridge and the bed sheets were somewhat ruffled. They made it right immediately and upgraded our room without hesitation, the front desk staff were wonderful. Also, we asked for our room to be serviced on the second day and the charm of feeling like your room has been cleaned just want there. Beds were half made and sheets were super wrinkly. A few trash items left over. This pic is what our bed looked like after housekeeping came.

Highly impressed by the level of lifeguards at the pools. The amount of attentiveness and constant observation by the lifeguards was excellent. The server staff at the pools were also very attentive and nice. The concierge team was also very nice. The asphalt around the pool decks especially near the river walk gets extremely hot and burned our feet., The indoor pools looked old and the hot tubs had brown moldy looking buildup. The room was beautiful, clean and quiet. Shampoo , conditioner and body wash hadn’t been filled. Parking is distant so be prepared to walk. Overall the hotel is gorgeous and we do plan on returning.

I really liked the area around the building. There’s lots of beautiful walking spaces. The staff is wonderful, patient, and accommodating. The food was delicious, and having direct access to the convention was a lifesaver. There were a few things I didn’t like; for example, only half of our hotel room was cleaned. There was also staining on the box spring, one of the sinks didn’t drain, and our refrigerator didn’t cool well. Parking is also exceedingly difficult. We ended up buying a valet pass, and the staff were very kind and helpful.

We have been to the Gaylord Texan many times and felt the Gaylord Denver is subpar to the Texan. The rooms are clean and nice, but there are more limited things to do in the hotel and see. The lazy river was green which seemed crazy to think, because the Texan keeps their water pretty clean with a higher outside temperature. Could use some more activities inside as well.

I booked this because my 5 yr old was out for spring break and we wanted a place that had heated pools. This place was perfect. We made the 6 hour drive to CO and was amazed at how huge this place was. We saw the pictures online but geez, this was massive and very impressive. The only thing that we wished was taken care of more often was the cleaning of the pools/lazy river and whirlpool. The algae on the side of lazy river was grossy gross when my foot touched the side of river in an attempt to get off my tube. Yuck. The seating area around the whirlpools also needed a good scrubbing, they were pretty brown and you could see the difference from other parts that were clean. That was my only complaint about the resort. We ate at the sports bar and enjoyed our meals there. We will definitely be back and hopefully pools are cleaned :)

NO internet connection for the duration. TV also offline. Towels were riddled with holes and stains worse than the shroud of Tourin. Expensive mistake and Marriott doesn't give a poop. Stay on Tower Road and get two rooms for less. Less, expence,noise, commotion,

The property is beautiful, lots of activities, and family oriented. The room is very small and basic. Parking fee is absurd. We went there mainly for the pool, it was underwhelming. It is a beautiful hotel but not worth $500/night.

I recently stayed at the Gaylord Hotel of the Rockies and had an overall fantastic experience. Despite the bed being uncomfortable, everything else was perfect. We dined at the English pub, which served the best Reuben I’ve ever had and an impeccable shepherd’s pie. Breakfast there was also great, providing a delicious start to our day. The lazy river was a blast, and we thoroughly enjoyed the huge hot tub. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. This hotel is a great place for a staycation and definitely worth the money. We’re already planning a longer trip next time.

We stayed here overnight for one night. The pool and lazy river were amazing. The room was clean and quiet. The only issue was room service. Most of the food choices weren’t available and the menu app wasn’t updated until you tried to order and it would say “unavailable and it was deleted from your cart”. It was VERY frustrating.

I have to say I hate that they charge for basically everything. I believe it was Self park you have to pay 19-20 a day. If you self park I believe it should be free. Valet i understand if you want to charge. Also the places to get snacks or food on property astronomical!!! I mean I payed 5$ for a small milk drink which is about 4x the price compared to it I were to get it elsewhere as well that 5$ could have got me a whole gallon elsewhere. I mean everything there was expensive. Now let get to our experience of the room. You can definitely hear people in the hall. I hear a few loud noises waking me up as well from either the other room or upstairs. Plus unfortunately there is no microwave in room which was inconvenient. The bed was nice and comfortable. My boyfriend noticed that the water from the shower was either hot or cold.. no inbetween. I did like the lock options on the door to help us feel safer. I also did like the blackout curtains. The plug ins on the side tables did not work to charge our phones(yes we make sure it was plugged in). We called bellhop to get a cart to bring our stuff down since I have a bad knee. The said it would be an hour and they were nice enough to move our check out time until they can get us a cart. But after an hour and a half my boyfriend just took things down one at a time. Had a hard time finding room key drop off box as well.

Wish there was a microwave in the rooms

Beautiful property. The room is quite tight for family of 4. But I like that it is clean and there’s so many activities to do. The staff are helpful and friendly. I would definitely will stay there again and actually encouraged my friends and families to do the same when in Denver.

Great service nice rooms

Spent $714.51 on a room smaller than 400 square feet. Expected something special; yet, when my family arrived very tired from a long trip, they were put in a room that was already occupied. The guest already staying there was awakened. The next room the Gaylord assigned my family wasn't cleaned after the previous guest stayed there. Terrible experience. There is not much around the hotel and nothing to walk to. Also, most hotels near the airport offer free shuttle services to the airport. This one does not.

This was our first time here. Our room was upgraded and our parking was waived just because which was a welcome surprise! Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were delicious. The outside grass area and live music as well as fire pits were a treat! More chairs or places to sit would be an improvement. Lazy River was so fun. Seems more tubes are needed. We had lunch and drinks by the pool and loved all the umbrellas so we could stay in the shade. We thought this would be the only time we would visit since we live in town, but we are SOLD and plan to come back again for another weekend getaway...maybe every year!

We were told that our room would not be ready until “maybe 6pm” for our 4pm check in. Totally unacceptable

Our room was not ready until an hour and half after check-in at 4:00. Andy told me “4:00 is not guaranteed check in- just time they try for.” Front desk staff were rude, condescending, and not helpful. I have texts and recorded conversations as evidence of the extreme unprofessionalism displayed from Andy. My husband was working or I would have sent him to follow up on our room after 90 minutes past checkin. I felt like Andy was very condescending to me because I am a woman. He kept a smirk on his face the whole time I was trying to figure out a room situation for my family. This review is unfortunate because the resort was beautiful, clean, and our dinner was exceptional. The only negative was the late check in and the extremely rude front desk staff- Andy.

The longest check in I have ever experienced

This place is amazing! We loved everything except the front desk help. They seemed too busy to deal with us and very rude both at check out and check in. We had two rooms and everything was wonderful. The wait staff was great and valet staff was top notch! Please train the front desk te to be a little kinder and more welcoming.

I was really looking forward to my time at the Gaylord as I’ve enjoyed some of their other properties in the past however it seems there was was always something wrong from the get go. Starting with my room. I had reserved two queen bed room. When I got there they said they didn’t have anymore. Which the girl at the desk said was weird and that had never happened before. When we finally did get a room we got settled and went to dinner. We had reservations at Garden and Grain. When we got there it took them a while to seat us despite not many people there. Then after we were seated the place started to fill up. It took 35 minutes just to get drinks and over an hour to get our food after it was ordered. My friend and I watched the manager. As we were once servers and noticed he was running around but not really getting thing accomplished. For instance, we saw our drinks sitting the bar for the whole time but he just moved tickets around instead of actually bringing them to tables. We also noticed multiple tables complaining. The next day we rented a cabana by the pool. It was great until someone pooped in the pool and it had to be evacuated. Needless to say we didn’t go back in. The next morning, I had called the valet from our room because we were in a rush to get to a sports tournament. When we got down there 10 minutes later our car was still not there and we had to wait The next evening we hung at the Embers bar and enjoyed our bar tender DJ. The next day we had no internet

Wonderful service.

Staff is amazing!

The staff didn't seem very knowledgeable about the DC events and when/where they were happening. The food was good, but we would have appreciated a breakfast waffle offering on one of the restaurant's menus. Housekeeping didn't refresh the room every day, which meant our room was quite dirty and cluttered by the end of our stay. Not much to do in the area around the hotel.

Overall, it’s close to the airport which is nice but the food was pricy and not that good. Drinks were fine. Cool facility though very pretty!

It is a beautiful hotel. We loved having the waterpark and the dining options on property for the first couple of days. However, because of where the hotel is located, it is a bit of a far drive to get to other dining and entertainment options. We stayed five days and by the third day we were definitely ready for other food options. With all that said, the hotel is still an amazing experience.

A good place convenient to Denver Airport. More to do than simply spending the night when you have a layover.

This hotel feels like a Vegas or Caribbean style resort despite its sort of random location near the Denver airport. Our kids had the best time enjoying both the indoor and outdoor pools—I actually think the hotel should advertise their pools better because I really didn’t expect much, and then when we walked outside, I was so pleasantly surprised by the vibe and amenities. The food on site was great, and we never felt the need to leave the resort.

Gorgeous property that was very relaxing during a productive/busy conference. It would be nice to have easier access to the local community downtown via public transport. Uber is fine, but it can get pricey. Shops and dining options were great!

We were hoping for a fun respite away and decided on the Gaylord expecting to enjoy the pool with food and room service later. Our rooms were great and check in was fairly easy. We sadly ended up waiting for an hour for some simple appetizers by the pool. Thinking it’s a simple thing, we continued enjoying our stay and then went to order dinner (room service as all the restaurants were booked and on waits). Our dinner didn’t arrive for over an hour and a half. We were struggling to stay awake to wait for our food to arrive. The selection of food was not very good. For a “luxury” hotel, this was pretty disappointing. In the end, I’m not sure the $$$$ was worth it.

Great place and great staff. Too few restaurants for such a big hotel, almost impossible to get a reservation, so for 4 out of 5 days had to uber to restaurants outside of the hotel.

The food at the sports bar was subpar, but the amount of TVs was great. Website says they have a crib available, but all they have are pack n plays. Big difference. No tub to bathe kids in the bathroom, shower only. Spa was fantastic. Whole place is clean. Grab and go store was very convenient.

The water and hot tub were great. The food and drinks were horrible. Drinks had horrible tastes and hardly any alcohol. For the price you charge for the resort and stay and food from the restaurants, it really should be better quality. I went to celebrate my anniversary with my husband and did not want to leave the resort and by the end I wanted to leave without staying the night.
