We stayed for one night after a wedding. We were able to check in and take our bags to the room early (before the usual check in time) so that was great that they accommodated that for us. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was tasty. Car park is big. The room was OK - nothing special but reasonably clean so that’s all we could ask for really.

Two night mini break, fantastic place, really friendly staff, the room we were in was perfect for us, with our rather large dog. Great Breakfast and plenty of choice for evening meals, just what you need after a day walking in the lovely countryside, the Bakewell pudding was exceptional.

What a lovely place. Our meal was most enjoyable. Staff are fantastic Location is just perfect The is a negative: Noise from the bar iscquite loud in our room and that was without me wearing my hearing aids.

What a great place this is to stay. It's a lovely, very friendly pub with great rooms and very friendly and very helpful staff. The food is amazing, you have to try the steak and ale pie - it's to die for - honestly.

The staff at the pub are very friendly and welcoming. The pub is clean and cosy and offers very good pub food and a selection of beers. The rooms are clean and tidy, but are on the small size and a little dated. All in all, we enjoyed a very pleasant stay.

Really helpful and friendly staff and a comfortable room with an adequate bathroom. The room size was respectable for a single room and the only slight criticism is that the bathroom is poorly lit with one dim central light and a shaving light above the washbasin. On the plus side, although the shower cubicle was a bit outdated and in need of a little TLC, the shower itself was excellent with good pressure. The evening meal and freshly cooked breakfasts were first class.

Lovely welcome from Zoe, room is so nice & lovely bathroom. There are mugs for the tea & coffee making stuff which is always a bonus for us. The meal with lovely & catered for us all including 2 vegans. The staff are all really nice & friendly. Definitely recommend & stay again

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely including breakfast and our stay went really smoothly. I stayed here with my little girl to do some sight seeing ect. The only down fall was that the rooms are a little tired looking and its a shame there not kept quite traditional or old vintage looking to keep in with the 1600 century building. I know some things have to be modernised!....like the bathrooms are but unfortunately our bathroom was not finished in perfect condition, So, a little pricey on those notes. But, i guess thats what you pay for if you want to be right in the middle and the in heart of Eyam. All in all a great stay and i would go back and stay here again

My room was very comfortable & clean - the staff were very helpful & friendly. The bed was great & it was quiet overnight. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order & I would definitely stay there again!

Comfy bed, warm room. Great evening dining choices. Breakfast also good. Staff friendly and helpful. Only negative comment is it would have been good to know in advance that it was a haunted property (most haunted pub in Derbyshire allegedly) rather than finding out on arrival. It freaked me out and I slept poorly. Would have booked elsewhere if I had known.

Loved this pub! Full of history, the rooms were cosy and warm but with plenty of space. Food was amazing and all the staff were very friendly and super accommodating. Definitely booking this again next time we come to the Peak District.

We were greeted and made welcome, found the room comfortable and clean and, even though we hadn't booked and they were busy, they had kept us a choice of early or later table booking. Good thing, too: the place was busy - and the food was excellent. So was the breakfast next day.

Great pub, all the staff were really friendly and accomodating. Unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast (which doesn't start until 8:30am), but they were really amazing in trying to help us and they did make us a breakfast sandwich to take away which was much appreciated.The bed also was very comfortable!

I know some things have to be modernised!....like the bathrooms are but unfortunately our bathroom was not finished in perfect condition, So, a little pricey on those notes. But, i guess thats what you pay for if you want to be right in the middle and the in heart of Eyam. All in all a great stay and i would go back and stay here again

What a lovely place. Our meal was most enjoyable. Staff are fantastic Location is just perfect The is a negative: Noise from the bar iscquite loud in our room and that was without me wearing my hearing aids.

The Miners Arms is a traditional pub in the charming Peak District village of Eyam. The village has an interesting history and there are lots of places to visit and many wonderful walks. The staff at the pub are very friendly and welcoming. The pub is clean and cosy and offers very good pub food and a selection of beers. The rooms are clean and tidy, but are on the small size and a little dated. All in all, we enjoyed a very pleasant stay.

Stop over on my 3 day hike. Although no food served Sunday evening I was allowed to order in a takeaway curry to eat in my room and avoid a 15 minute walk outvthen back. The breakfast scrambled eggs were excellent too.

We were greeted and made welcome, found the room comfortable and clean and, even though we hadn't booked and they were busy, they had kept us a choice of early or later table booking. Good thing, too: the place was busy - and the food was excellent. So was the breakfast next day.

Lovely meals but not on a Sunday evening. Stairs which with luggage were a bit daunting. No lift. Bar door locked at night which meant as we had a very early start - too early for the breakfast which was included, and this also meant I had to take luggage down a spiral fire escape exit. Luckily a gentleman in the next room helped me down with 3 bags.Breakfast is late for early starters.

Stayed at the Miners Inn 2 nights over Bank Holiday August. Was lovely to see it so busy on the Sunday we arrived as was a festival on in the village. Overall location excellent for village and exploring Hope Valley and beyond. Only slight niggles hotel is in need of some TLC re decorating damp patches but it is an old hotel. Breakfast was ok not great black pudding rock hard. Sausages were bit bland. Had just poached eggs next day. Also pub shuts early so couldn't stay up to play cards. Not ideal 10pm close. Staff all lovely and helpful. Overall enjoyable stay.

The food was good and the wine reasonably priced. We had dinner on the Monday and the restaurant was busy. A good sign! Good breakfast too. Plenty of outdoor seating and plenty of parking available. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast. The hotel is centrally located for the beautiful village of Eyam’s history trail, tea rooms and local walks with good parking facilities.
