This place is awesome. Austin is the absolute best/coolest host our family has ever met. If you are going to Cooperstown, stay here. The drive to Dreams park is about 20 minutes down a 2 lane road that is very serene and fun to drive. Cooperstown downtown is about 15 minutes away. Do NOT let the map location trick you into staying somewhere closer to Downtown/Dreams. You will be doing yourself a disservice. Regarding the property, Austin has a great outdoor area. There is volleyball, soccer, horse shoes, axe throwing, a baseball field, patio, grill, covered porch, etc. etc. etc. The rooms are standard two queen beds with a bathroom and TV. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. There is an awesome nature trail within 10 min drive that you must go to on your off time. There are plenty of solid food options within 10-15 minutes. We had booked a 3 day trip to visit Boston after Cooperstown. It was our first time to Boston and we did all the tourist stuff. The entire time in Boston, our kids and us kept going "we should have just spent the extra time at Austin's." There were more nature trails we could have explored and it's just a great place. I really can't say anything more... stay here.

The Meadowlark Inn is our new favorite place to stay while visiting Cooperstown! Austin is an amazing host whose waffles are a breakfast delight :) He was a gracious host and truly loves his property and his guests. Snacks were provided as well as anything we may have forgotten while on the road. He has a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area and has created a comfortable and welcoming space for families and friends alike. We will be back next summer and can't wait to be welcomed "home" Highly recommend

Austin is the best host a traveler can have. Helped with bags, did laundry and good breakfast. Only negative is the internet is very slow and I’m sure Austin will get that taken care of.

Everything about the Meadowlark deserves a top tier rating! From the moment you walk into the lobby, Austin makes you feel at home. The inn is so clean and well-decorated. The rooms are lovely and you can’t beat the property. Not only is it beautiful, it is set up to spend time outside in nice weather. And as all the other reviews have started, breakfast was just wonderful. We stayed while visiting Cooperstown for the first time and just fell in love with everything. We can’t wait to come back and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else!
