Hotel staff was excellent. Upstairs pool are is small but great for enjoying a drink or meals. Rooms are very small, so make use of the shared common areas.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay here. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and just what we needed for 1 night in Tlaquepaque. It was about a 9min walk to el Parian which was not too bad. We walked at night and still felt safe. The area is convenient. Parking is in a lot across the street but I was just glad they had free guest parking. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and there were so many options. I was truly impressed for the price. Would definitely stay here again.

This boutique hotel has tonnes of old Mexican character at an extremely low price. The girl that checked us in was lovely. She served us each a shot of tequila and walked us to our rooms. The beds were very comfortable however the only issue I had was the shower. There was no water pressure and no hot water in our room. Our friends stayed one floor below us and had hot water and lots of water pressure. The elevator was also out of service so if you have mobility issues this hotel isn’t going to work for you.

Los cuartos son buenos lo que no esta bien es el estacionamiento, tienes que salir de el hotel y estcionarte en la acera de enfrente, no tiene concreto ni asfalto solo tierra, nadie vigila y no hay un orden

Si hay tiendas cercanas, Iglesia caminando pero lo único que no me gustó que había calles cerradas motivo no sabía uno y eso complicaba la llegada al Hotel. Y el estacionamiento muy reducido para sacar el carro super complicado

Good location (walkable to the best part of Tlaquepaque, but it's a little gritty around the hotel). The hotel itself has a certain charm, perhaps is in need of a little refreshing ( paint, floors power washed, and definitely needs new sheets, comforter, and pillows...the pillows felt like sand bags). But the staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooftop with a splash pool was a huge surprise..super cute and nicely furnished. The included breakfast was delicious! We travel to Guadalajara on a somewhat regular basis and we would definitely give this hotel another try. To be fair, a lot of these small hotels in Tlaquepaque can be a bit worn, so of those at which we have stayed, this ranks #2.

This was a very nice hotel . However, we had a few issues. . . . .the internet did not work (a problem for us as we were on a business trip) and one of our rooms had NO HOT WATER. Not fun. The staff was great, the drop off parking (👍) was great and the lobby was really nice. But I doubt that I will return.

The property was beautiful, clean, and quiet. All of the employees were very kind and welcoming. The breakfast that was included was delicious! Our car was parked in their gated parking lot which gave us peace of mind even though Tlaquepaque felt very safe. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend 100x over any big/expensive hotel chain.

Rooms are extremely small with a very small window. If you are claustrophobic this is not a place for you, the only one that reasonable size rooms are the suite, but are not available via Expedia. Other couple reserve a day after directly from the property and was given a suite.. almos same price than the deluxe.. the place is run down a dirty, there were mice droppings in de bathroom and a dust covering every area. Sheets seemed clean but they were stained.

Buen precio y suficientemente cómodo y completo para ese costo. El descanso corrí con suerte porque casi no había huéspedes en el hotel, pero sí es notorio el ruido de otras habitaciones. Tiene estacionamiento muy cerca, a unos pasos. El estacionamiento no tiene vigilancia cajones marcados, y es de tierra.

The hotel fits for this particular area. It is old, and it is Mexican. Most rooms do not have a window for starters. The rooms are small, so I would not bring a laptop with me. Plus an earlier review by someone else reported theft of some valuables (we did not have any incidents, but at the same time, we kept our Do Not Disturb sign on the door the entire three days of our visit). There are no glasses or cups in the room, no Kleenex, and no complimentary bottles of water (and you do not drink the tap water in Mexico). Just come prepared with the things you need and make this a memorable trip! It is close to the square that has lots going on, and the people are very friendly.

Very uncomfortable. Bathroom sink very small. I would say the size of a plate and literally right next to the toilet. No room to set anything. Room smell bad very dark and couldn’t open the window cause people on the top floor could see everything. Beds totally uncomfortable. No courtesy water was offered no iron. Service was less than average. People were not rude but they were not nice either. Pictures in the website are deceiving.

El hotel super bien, limpio y bonito, las habitaciones muy comodas los desayunos super buenos el personal super amable, solo que cierran la puerta y tienes que tocar una campanita para ue habran y tardan mucho aparte pues no de muy buena gana porque los despiertas en la madrugada, me gusto mucho pero por ese detalle no me vuelvo a quedar ahi soy turista y voy a disfrutar y llegar a la hora que quiera y no hay necesidad de llegar y que te hagan malas caras cuando tu estas pagando el servicio y menos tener que esperar horas para que habran la puerta.
El hotel super bien, limpio y bonito, las habitaciones muy comodas los desayunos super buenos el personal super amable, solo que cierran la puerta y tienes que tocar una campanita para ue habran y tardan mucho aparte pues no de muy buena gana porque los despiertas en la madrugada, me gusto mucho pero por ese detalle no me vuelvo a quedar ahi soy turista y voy a disfrutar y llegar a la hora que quiera y no hay necesidad de llegar y que te hagan malas caras cuando tu estas pagando el servicio y menos tener que esperar horas para que habran la puerta.

This hotel is lovely and is walking distance to the artsy centro histórico de Tlaquepaque with a lot of restaurants and food vendors and boutique stores. The staff was really nice and helpful. I liked my room on the third floor, the bed was comfortable and it’s clean. Highly recommended.

The hotel was nicely kept. The “antique” elevator was fun a little scary but fun. The kitchen staff was so wonderful taking the time to make my picky eater something he would enjoy. Thank you for a wonderful stay

What a wonderful experience. This hotel is just a short 7 minute walk from the center of Tlaquepaque. The atmosphere was amazing, so homey and beautiful. You receive a warm welcome that includes a Tequila shot in a souvenir mini pottery glass. Perfect! The staff was awesome! The rooms comfy and inviting. But maybe the best thing of all was the included breakfast. So delicious! An amazing coffee selection, and several choices of different traditional Mexican dishes. You receive a warm welcome that includes a Tequila shot in a souvenir mini pottery glass. Perfect! The staff was awesome! The rooms comfy and inviting. But maybe the best thing of all was the included breakfast. So delicious! An amazing coffee selection, and several choices of different traditional Mexican dishes. Very good stay. Great breakfast on the rooftop.Five minute walk to centre. Comfortable room. Check-in was awkward. I had reserved 2 rooms for 2 couples in April. I had requested a ground-level room for the couple I travelled with as the gentleman required an oxygen tank and had difficulty with stairs. The receptionist said the room wasn't available. An hour later, the receptionist approached the couple and said the ground-level room WAS available. The couple had already settled in and declined.

This was such an unpleasant experience, despite the beauty of the hotel my friends and I got spider bites and the AC was poor quality-Can’t mention the staff was super rude. We had to request a ride at 3 AM and the man that was helping us was upset that we had woken him up, but that’s his job. He was actually sleeping in one of the rooms and we needed to get a few things from the hotel before us taking off, they also charged an additional fee for an other person that wasn’t on website over all I will never go there again!

We enjoyed our 1 night stay here. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and just what we needed for 1 night in Tlaquepaque. It was about a 9min walk to el Parian which was not too bad. We walked at night and still felt safe. The area is convenient. Parking is in a lot across the street but I was just glad they had free guest parking. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and there were so many options. I was truly impressed for the price. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is lovely and is walking distance to the artsy centro histórico de Tlaquepaque with a lot of restaurants and food vendors and boutique stores. The staff was really nice and helpful. I liked my room on the third floor, the bed was comfortable and it’s clean. Highly recommended.

Si hay tiendas cercanas, Iglesia caminando pero lo único que no me gustó que había calles cerradas motivo no sabía uno y eso complicaba la llegada al Hotel. Y el estacionamiento muy reducido para sacar el carro super complicado

Good location (walkable to the best part of Tlaquepaque, but it's a little gritty around the hotel). The hotel itself has a certain charm, perhaps is in need of a little refreshing ( paint, floors power washed, and definitely needs new sheets, comforter, and pillows...the pillows felt like sand bags). But the staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooftop with a splash pool was a huge surprise..super cute and nicely furnished. The included breakfast was delicious! We travel to Guadalajara on a somewhat regular basis and we would definitely give this hotel another try. To be fair, a lot of these small hotels in Tlaquepaque can be a bit worn, so of those at which we have stayed, this ranks #2.

Kind of like the location, their breakfast was awful!, also, the serve the very same food everyday!, on top of that, you can only choose one plate, so if you don’t like it, you are screwed. Not coming back!.

Día de Muertos is a fantastic time to visit the area. The hotel is themed for the festivities- courtesy tequila shots nightly. Free 2-course breakfasts were served with attention; the lobby had a cold filtered water stand to refill our water bottles; and they offered fun recommendations for tours and sights. We had a restful 4 nights and will return to Puerta San Pedro.

The staff were very nice, and the beds were comfortable! There were some mosquitoes, but they provided us with an electric mosquito repellent. None of us got bitten, so it worked great! The room was cozy with charming rustic decor, which gave it a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast and Wi-Fi were both included, which was very convenient. The location was also great, especially if you’re planning to visit Tlaquepaque, as it’s nearby and easy to get to. We had a comfortable and pleasant stay overall and really enjoyed our time here. We would definitely stay again!

El hotel cumplió con su función, siendo requerida una habitación para acceso de una persona con movilidad reducida. Les hace falta solo una silla plástica en la regadera para poder tomar una ducha, pero resolvieron facilitando un banco de madera que con precaución se logró poder usar la regadera para aseo de la persona. Reconozco que no es un hotel de lujo pero sugiero mejorar la calidad del shampoo y jabón que otorgan.

The pictures look nothing like the hotel. The pool was dirty and not suitable to use. The lobby is full of mosquitos. The water pressure was bad. The breakfast was good but they only have two workers so you have to wait a long time to eat. Parking is bad its off the property in a one way street.

The hotel itself is located close to many places to visit and eat. The hotel lobby is nice, and they provide complimentary water. We had to pay extra for air conditioning. Staff was usually excellent. The issues have more to do with overall cleanliness and upkeep than anything else. We killed 6 flies in our room in one night. On a different night, we killed a cockroach crawling across our hotel room floor. Mosquitoes were everywhere -lobby, restroom, shower, hotel room. Bring repellent and apply it often.
