Ideal location for Bexley bars and restaurants. 2 Public car parks nearby. Easy self-checkin if arriving late. Quiet, clean room very reasonable rates if simply want somewhere without all the hussle and bustle of a larger hotel. Local eateries offering discount to hotel guest an added bonus. Recommended and would stay again.

Not great, whole place is looking tired, could do with a paint.and some new furniture as laminate peeling. Electrical socket coming off wall etc. Bed not particularly comfortable. Say wifi in every room but this was so weak it was barely useable and kept cutting out. Did ask about this but told they couldnt do anything about it as the byilding has thick walls.

A clean, quiet hotel in the heart of Bexley village. Lots of restaurant and pub options and close to the Southeast Rail station. Shower pressure was very low. The small sink was cute but made it impossible to wash one's face without getting water all over shoes and floor. Cleaning fluids used in hallways smelled like uncured bathtub caulking -- somewhat nausea-inducing.

Really friendly accommodation in the heart of Bexley Village, I was welcomed on arrival and explained everything. The whole place is spotlessly clean. It was the hottest day of the year, and even though there is no air conditioning, the building is old and it was pleasantly cool, with a fan provided in the room. Great value in a popular area of town. Would recommend and would stay again.

What attracted us to this Hotel was the location - right in the centre of Bexley Village, just right for us to attend a party at my brother’s place after driving down from Wiltshire. As soon as we got there, we realised that we had made a mistake. The entrance door handle was hanging off, attached only with gaffer tap and it didn’t improve when we got inside. The rooms were located along a labyrinth of narrow, musty corridors on multiple levels, covered in cheap dirty carpet. The room itself was equipped with poor quality furniture and another gaffer taped door handle to the bathroom. The carpet around the beds was so dirty that we couldn’t take our shoes off. We debated leaving and trying to find somewhere else, but we were late for the party and we didn’t know where to look - so we stayed, but used our own pillows. After the party, we arrived back by taxi to find that Saturday night in Bexley Village is like high season Ibiza. Literally hundreds of youngsters spilling out from at least 4 very noisy pubs! At least the room was at the back and surprisingly quiet, so we slept soundly. We left early in the morning after a shower - not too bad and nice clean towels.

The hosts were great but the rooms were like staying in a hostel. The heating for the room was only put on when we arrived so it was freezing everywhere. The towels were so hard. The curtains had been trimmed with scissors very badly and the window handle fell off when I tried to open it. The beds were comfortable though.

The hotel is pleasant. The rooms are clean and nice as are the bathrooms. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the train station (which takes you to London). There are cafes and bars on the same street and it is a pleasant area to walk around. The hotel staff is only there for a short amount of time each day and there is no breakfast (though there are plenty of options for breakfast within a minute's walk of the hotel).

This place didn't deliver as hoped. The picture of the outside suggested a nice period building, however, this was an estate agents and the entrance was down the side out of view. The card didn't work for the keyless entry and I had to call the owner to gain access. The bed felt like it was picked up from a second hand shop, the bathroom had been updated but lets say "on a shoe string budget", there was no wifi and there was a scrap metal yard outside my window. This had zero hotel feel about it, more like a greedy landlord with a HMO 😐

10 ⭐️ property - excellent room, comfy beds, easy check in and check out, next to practically the best restaurants in London (Italian, Thai, bars & pub food etc.) and at least 8 convenience stores within 1 minute walk. A cell phone store across the street so we could buy adaptors and cords. Plus bus stops and train station all within blocks of the hotel. We bought beer and ice and they provided a container we could use! Kindness and hospitality galore. We stayed 3 days and would definitely stay again!

I regret to say that our recent reservation at the Village Hotel Bexley was extremely disappointing. The experience was marred by a significant issue that left us stranded in the middle of the night. After an enjoyable evening out, we returned to the hotel at 12.20 am only to find that we could not get the external door open via the key card we were given, as we found out later the door had been locked from the inside. Despite repeated attempts, the door would not budge. We immediately contacted the hotel and were put in touch with the owner, 'Lucky'. He assured us that he would be there in 10 minutes to resolve the issue. However, 10 minutes turned into 20, then 30, and then 40. Despite our repeated calls and increasing frustration standing out in the cold, Lucky continued to tell us he would be there in "another 10 minutes". It became apparent that he had no intention of coming to help us. My wife’s medication was in the room, and she needed to take them that evening, he was not interested, kept saying he would be there in 10 minutes. An hour later and it was clear he had no intention in coming out to assist. As a result, we were forced to find alternative accommodation at 1.15am in the morning. This not only disrupted our night but also left us feeling deeply disappointed, distressed and let down by the hotel's management. The next morning, we returned to the hotel and explained our predicament to the receptionist, making it clear that we expected a full refund.

it was good. with this price, you can't complain. i checked in late at night but they were helpful informing how to check in, and it was easy to do so. you might have to communicate with them through e-mails cause reception isn't 24 hours, but they answer quiet promptly during business hour. great location. very close to the subway station, many pubs to enjoy, supermarket nearby, good cafes too. good to walk around. with this amazing location and relatively very cheap price, it was above all great. love to stay anytime in future!

Inept and insensitive Manager who didn’t care myself, partner and son had barely slept due to a window not shutting on a high street full of bars and cars revving engines. After reporting to the manager that the outer window didn’t fully close (a feature of the original windows in the listed building) and the inner double glaze window used to reduce noise wouldn’t lock we were told nothing could be done but a refund would be discussed in the morning. I wedged cushions between the two windows to minimise the noise but the noise still boomed through while well after 2am. Tired and frustrated the next morning we were informed of a £15 discount and when we weren’t “happy enough” according to Lucky the manager, he encouraged us to leave a negative review. How Lucky go a job in hospitality will remain a mystery to anyone who has the misfortune of staying in a hotel he manages. Avoid this hotel if you think a “family room” should have the ability for the family to be able to sleep.

Hotel is right on the High Street, about 3 minutes' walk from Bexley train station. The room was very clean, functional, with a comfortable double bed and electric shower, which was a bit weak on pressure. Tea and coffee provided in the room. The hotel is pleasant. The rooms are clean and nice as are the bathrooms. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the train station (which takes you to London). There are cafes and bars on the same street and it is a pleasant area to walk around. 10 ⭐️ property - excellent room, comfy beds, easy check in and check out, next to practically the best restaurants in London (Italian, Thai, bars & pub food etc.) and at least 8 convenience stores within 1 minute walk. A cell phone store across the street so we could buy adaptors and cords. Plus bus stops and train station all within blocks of the hotel. We bought beer and ice and they provided a container we could use! Kindness and hospitality galore. We stayed 3 days and would definitely stay again!

it was good. with this price, you can't complain. i checked in late at night but they were helpful informing how to check in, and it was easy to do so. you might have to communicate with them through e-mails cause reception isn't 24 hours, but they answer quiet promptly during business hour. great location. very close to the subway station, many pubs to enjoy, supermarket nearby, good cafes too. good to walk around. with this amazing location and relatively very cheap price, it was above all great. love to stay anytime in future!

What attracted us to this Hotel was the location - right in the centre of Bexley Village, just right for us to attend a party at my brother’s place after driving down from Wiltshire. As soon as we got there, we realised that we had made a mistake. The entrance door handle was hanging off, attached only with gaffer tap and it didn’t improve when we got inside. The rooms were located along a labyrinth of narrow, musty corridors on multiple levels, covered in cheap dirty carpet. The room itself was equipped with poor quality furniture and another gaffer taped door handle to the bathroom. The carpet around the beds was so dirty that we couldn’t take our shoes off. We debated leaving and trying to find somewhere else, but we were late for the party and we didn’t know where to look - so we stayed, but used our own pillows. After the party, we arrived back by taxi to find that Saturday night in Bexley Village is like high season Ibiza. Literally hundreds of youngsters spilling out from at least 4 very noisy pubs! At least the room was at the back and surprisingly quiet, so we slept soundly. We left early in the morning after a shower - not too bad and nice clean towels.

A great location, good communication and comfortable stay. Its on the main road of a very busy high street so quite loud with the windows open but there was a fan in the room if it gets too hot. Money off certain local restaurants/cafes was a great extra and I was able to use it for dinner and breakfast

Really cosy, quaint room a stone's throw from the station, and surprisingly quiet despite the World Cup going on across the road. Even though I arrived and left outside staff hours, checking in and out was smooth thanks to clear instructions emailed in advance and the good, old-fashioned room keys instead of cards. They even provided a fan to survive the last of the heatwave. Highly recommend!

The staff were very friendly, helpful and communicated well. As i was arriving later, they left my key in a lock box, with full instructions - they phoned and followed up by text. The hotel was very quiet and close to lots of lovely cafes, eateries and convenience stores. I Would definitely stay again. Parking is available opposite for 1.70 overnight until 8am.
