The place was so filthy I ended up leaving. It smelled and there was an inch of dust on everything. My door would barely close, and when it did, it would not open again. The staff was nice enough, but I couldn't find them to tell them I was leaving. It seemed like a lot of ppl were living there. I don't think it is set up for overnight travelers.

Simple, bare-bones older motel but comfortable and quiet (other than road noise) for an overnight stop midway home.

When I first walked in, the temperature was a sweltering 85-90 degrees and extremely humid. I had to leave the door open and turn the air condition on high for an hour to cool the room down. The refrigerator didn't work and I wasn't notified of that beforehand. The carpet has a sticky feel to it, a screw holding the bed frame to the wall came loose, and foam to cushion the bed frame against the wall was visible. That comes across as shoddy workmanship. The bed was comfortable and I did sleep well, but I won't be returning.
